Bring a quarter, shop & save some money, you know the drill. Or maybe you do not, in which case you need to get with the program and check out an Aldi sometime. I grew up with these stores, they are very popular in Europe, which makes sense since they are German. Some things are a little different than a regular American grocery store experience, but honestly they are why you save money. First. The aforementioned quarter is for the shopping cart, it is locked until you place a .25 cent piece in and then you can take it. Don't worry, you get your coin back when you put the cart back where it belongs. Second. You bag your own purchases, either in BYO bags, or ones that you just paid .7-.10 cents for. Just bring reusable ones, your wallet & the environment will thank you for it. Third. The majority of products are private labels. Just like its distant cousin Trader Joe's, by private labeling the customer wins. Now, this is more of an American Aldi phenomenon, but there are quite a few "A brand" products available too. It is just hit or miss on those. My mom used to have this saying she'd throw at me (which feels like) all the time. Actually, she had two. They translate a little weird but here goes: "My money isn't made of elastic, you know" and the second gem, "I'm not a thieve of my own money". As a punky kid my thoughts, followed by an eyeroll.. were; yeayea, whatchu talking about? Now, I get it. I can only spend my money once, sadly it does not magically bounce back into my wallet. Why shop somewhere and pay double or triple the cost for what I can purchase the same amount of products for, here. Mom's know what's up, yo! I visited the motherland last summer where Aldi North operates (same store and concept, different owners and logo) and went to some stores in Germany and Austria (road trip, woohoo) and by far the US stores, especially the new ones, are the nicest. They have really pulled out all stops in making the Aldi experience a great one, and I (still!) love them for it! Now, if you're listening Aldi.., if only we could get a spiffy Aldi Bistro restaurant like they just launched in Cologne to the USA.. that would be awesome!

Dairy section. Lightweight, all-glass doors have great visibility and easy access. Nice update!

Another great trip to One world market! I am noticing so many little and big changes within this…read morestore. Greater varieties and diversity and expansion. The premade food choices are growing by the day. They are always adding to their offerings with new flavors and tastes. I started coming to One world market in 1997 when it was first home by a husband and wife team. It was very special at that time to have a Japanese focused grocery store and I was so happy to have one in the Novi area. This has been my go-to for decades now. When it was transitioning from private ownership to the Noble Village group, owned by True World group, there was a transitional decline, thankfully, that didn't last long and things are developing very nicely. I hear even more growth is on the horizon as they establish an even greater presence in the building next door. I am also thankful that the integrity and the high-quality is very much present and everything they do. The service is always top notch and they try to open up a lot of lanes so people get through quickly because it is busier than ever. The word is definitely out. I've seen a lot of posts on social media and it's bringing in an even greater crowds, which is fantastic! Note: the on-line ordering is also so convenient and their sushi platters are high-level!

We dined at the Marketplace for lunch. The service was pretty decent! Ordered using the QR code and dined there. There's no table service. We got the sides: rice with miso soup, Pork Katsu, Some type of grilled Salmon and Udon Noodle Soup. The food was great with reasonable pricing! The portion felt more Asian size. Not too huge which we loved. Definitely going to be back to try their Sushi Nigiri and Shasimi. Do stop by, you won't be disappointed!

Totally unimpressed by this place. I never see myself returning here for tacos, however they have a…read moremeat market in the store where you can buy fresh meats and bulk salsa, guac, chips etc that is pretty cool! I got the chicken tacos and 8oz side of rice and beans. Their menu read confusing, as they didn't have prices on the different meats, and tacos ranged from $2.99-$3.99 so I wasn't even sure how much my tacos would come to. I also thought it was 8oz combined of rice & beans for like $2.99 but I believe it rang up as individual 8oz containers. My total for the plate (3 tacos) & sides came to ~$16 without a tip or drink. The chicken tacos were SO bland. I tried adding more lime, the grilled onions, radishes, both the red and green salsas, and even rice and beans but nothing could rescue the flat flavor of nothingness every time I bit into my tacos. My red salsa that came with my plate was genuinely lame, it had hints of Tabasco sauce? Like they were trying to make it so spicy without any actual depth or flavor. I expected more from this place. I did try my friends steak from his taco and it was a bit more flavorful, so perhaps I got the wrong meat. Their employees were very nice and service wasn't too long, restaurant clean but limited seating! I would only return here to try the California burrito. I can find similar prices and great quality elsewhere.

Also it has a small meat, cheese section inside where you can buy marinated meats for your table. Ordered 3 different california burritos Al Pastor, Steak, Chicken. Portions are big and not expensive. Chicken was favorite. Definitely will be coming back to try more staff.

I had the Chicken Tikka and two Beef Ribeye Tikka sandwiches -- both incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. And of course, I always get the hummus... I can't leave without it. It's smooth, rich, and honestly addictive. What I love most is how consistently well-seasoned everything is. I don't like bland or under-seasoned food, and they get it right every single time -- spices balanced, meats juicy, flavors bold. I snapped a few pictures of their market meats you can take home and cook. This time I noticed they also have lamb chops and burger patties in addition to the skewers I saw during my last visit. Everything looks fresh, beautifully cut, and ready for a gourmet meal at home. As always, the people here are incredibly personable. They greet you with that warm, hometown friendliness that reminds me of the vibe from the show Cheers -- you really do feel like everyone knows your name. Delicious food, warm people, and consistently great experiences. This place never disappoints.

This place has some great flavors and amazing food…read more I ordered both the tikka and kafta chicken and I liked them both. I ordered the ribeye and they cooked it to a perfect medium. Rice was perfect as well. The grilled onion was very good too. Bread and garlic sauce were nice also. My only complaint was the chicken wings were super small. They did have a good flavor to them, but just really small. Prices are pretty fair. I ordered a lot of things for under 65$. I would most definitely try this place again and very much suggest it to others.
