Purchase date 5/17/26 Amount Spent $860…read moreMy first visit to this store. On 5/17/26 I purchased several pieces of furniture, 5 in the Box and 4 of the displays. I asked the cashier about the return policy , and she called the Byron, GA, store and talked to the manager, Salem Okasha. The Manager said that I could return furniture if it's new in the box. I opened one box, and parts were missing. I decided to buy the missing parts for that item from another store. On 6/11/26 I took 4 unopened boxes back to Dealz Outlet for a refund, and that is when I was told no refunds. I see now that the manager lied to me; they just wanted to make a big sale. This is a dishonest business, and I want my money back.

On my first visit, I came in to buy candy and ending up browsing. And during that initial visit, I appreciated how many items this store has to offer and how well it's laid out. The patrons and workers take care of this store. I don't know how long it's been open, but it doesn't have the "tired" feel of most discount stores. And it's neat. Things aren't all piled up on each other in any random area; each section is separate and where you would expect to find something it's usually there. I didn't initially think of Deals as a "dollar store" but there are a lot of things that are $1. If I had kids, I come here every other month or so, give them $10 and let them go crazy. And if I were just starting out and not sure of what I needed, I would come here to buy dinnerware, glasses, etc. The prices are comparable to (and in some cases lower than) Wal-Mart and Target, so why deal with the parking and long check out lines of a bigger store? I don't know if I would have ever gone into this store if I wasn't dealing with a "candy jones" but I'm glad I did. Also, when it was time to check out (this was a BUSY Saturday morning), there were only TWO registers open with actual cashiers. All the others were self-checkout. Do you know how long it takes to self checkout when you have a buggy full of groceries? It was irritating and frustrating.

This place has an actual bar that sells wine and beer, plus they have 2 tv's to watch the game on. There is a Starbucks located next to the Marketplace entrance. They sell shoes and clothes that you can try on in the dressing room. Also, like most local Kroger's, they have a housewares section, but this one includes small appliances. We recently moved to the area, and there are so many things you realize you need but don't feel like going to a bunch of stores to get. During my grocery shopping stop, I was also able to get things like contact paper for the cabinets, decorations for the house, and makeup. Their seafood department always has fresh seafood and a nice selection. The produce department usually has fresh fruits and vegetables. I'm so glad that this is my local Kroger, and I don't have to travel far to get basically everything I need during one trip.
