Well, this past Saturday my husband and I finally did. The entire property felt like a scene straight out of a Southern postcard. Families were out picking strawberries in the patch, people were relaxing in rocking chairs on the porch with ice cream cones, the café was buzzing, and the roadside market was full of shoppers loading up on goodies. The place was busy but somehow still relaxing. We started in the roadside market where I immediately grabbed one of the little carts because self-control clearly wasn't part of the plan. I stocked up on fresh produce, preserves, ciders, wines, and somehow convinced myself I "needed" adorable wooden earrings from a local artisan. We sampled a few local wines and naturally left with several bottles. The market also has gifts, souvenirs, and and entire section dedicated to dogs/ furry pets. After shopping we headed next door to the café for dessert. They offer cobblers, cakes, pies, homemade ice cream, and enough sweet treats to make you abandon every diet plan you've ever created. My husband is a peach cobbler enthusiast, so ordering their famous peach cobbler was mandatory. According to him, it absolutely lived up to the hype. I went with the peach pound cake and it was moist, buttery, and delicious. Their breakfast and lunch menu also looked really good. If I were road-tripping through the area, this would absolutely be a stop for a meal. It's also definitely going on my list of places to take guests when they come visit Middle Georgia. What really tied everything together was the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and full of genuine Southern hospitality. Needless to say, we won't wait another three years before stopping again.

This is not your we sell health and nutrition products on the side store. Their primary and core focus is a real deal health and nutrition. There were many products I have been recommended before from a nutritionist and homeopathic practitioners available. Many items you would struggle to find at any other place. I docked one star because their prices were on the higher side of the spectrum. I just moved from Phoenix and I could buy a 32oz bottle of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide for about $24. The 16oz bottle at Yvonne was $22. I went looking at other items I buy normally and they were a decent amount higher priced. Yes, I am taking the covid factor into account. All in all if you need it immediately, then based on walking through the store, you will likely find it here. But if you aren't in a hurry and can find a proven reliable online source, you will likely save 20-30% that way.

I have been loving them ever since. But lately it has been a task getting this delicious treat. I have had the pleasure of visiting a Long Island Dairy Queen in 2021 and again in 2025. Coming to GA and finding a Dairy Queen is like a walk in the park -- easy to spot, easy to reach, and plentiful in every direction. Not like in New York, where they're few and far between. Visiting Dairy Queen on Saturday 9/5 turned out to be a pleasant trip and so exciting. Why was it so exciting? Because I have been wanting Dairy Queen for several months, but the city traffic is always a big deterrent and now I am able to drive by and get a burger. I mean it is literally a hop, skip, and a jump in distance. Don't quote me on that! The service here was cordial and pleasant and the facility was very clean. The young lady that was cashiering was outspoken, spoke with clarity, and provided exceptional customer service. I really appreciate the hospitality and the accommodation. My purchase was off the menu, I wanted a single burger, but they only had a single with cheese and I wanted a single with lettuce and tomato. I was allowed to purchase that and I purchased a parfait. I don't do blizzards, I don't like the texture. My burger was a decent size burger and it was very, very good. I really enjoyed it. The parfait was what I was there for. It comes with peanut and chocolate syrup on top of soft serve ice cream filled to the rim and then some, it was so satisfying to taste. My visit to Georgia was both pleasant and tasty, I most definitely will be making another trip to Georgia with an added stop at Dairy Queen. They gave me reasons to come back and reasons to...
