I got the impression it's a family owned business (her son was there and other staff may have been family). I'd been dying to try on this adorable red polka-dot dress in the window, and she actually said it was ok. The dressing room is really a large bathroom which was nice and clean, but nowhere to hang the dress. anyways. The damn thing wouldn't fit over my new lat muscles, which was a bummer considering it was only $8. Looked almost brand new and the brand was Papaya (a trendy charlotte rusee-Forever 21 type of place for those not familar). They had a lot of jeans, but I wasn't in the market so I didnt really look through them.Their shoes and accesories were trendy/funky/good condition (always in the market for shoes, come on now). The other clothes seemed hit or miss - more on the miss side. They seemed older/different age group than the other stuff. Anyways, it was worth stopping by, I will definitely cruise through every so often just to see what they get in. The have only been open a week or two so I wonder if they will develop their own style. As is, it's basically a nicer, small salvation army with better than average denim and shoe selection. (and it doesn't smell in there or have screaming kids...)

They were careful and communicated well with us regarding their arrival time and while they were installing the refrigerator. Communication around delivery and customer service was poor throughout my experience. The day they delivered my new washer and dryer, I discovered the dryer would only turn on intermittently. They seems frustrated when I contacted them and said "it worked when we delivered it." The technician later confirmed it needed a new part in order to fix it. I then requested a new dryer be delivered. They had very poor communication with scheduling delivery time window. Texts and phone calls were not returned promptly causing much frustration and inconvenience. When they delivered the new dryer, I discovered the lint filter was dirty and had to call them again to express my frustration that they replaced the first dryer with a USED dryer. That same day, the washing machine started making a horribly loud noise mid cycle. I ended up returning both appliances to this place and my experience purchasing new appliances at Costco was outstanding. My experience with Appliances House was not good, and I would not trust them when they say they are selling "new" scratch and dent appliances.

I had already told them I was a disabled senior citizen and couldn't move this large mirror plus it's BROKEN, which is dangerous. Two weeks later I am still waiting for overstock to remove this broken dangerous mirror from my place, they care about getting your money but not about the customer, there delivery time is long and drawn out for furniture and large items. If these things are delivered broken or damaged they don't care because it's your problem.

I get donuts here every weekend and yesterday my wife came bebopping into the house with HEB cinnamon rolls and Now - sometimes the sell by dates on their meats are off. We've opened chicken 2 or 3 days before sell by date only to have it stink. While annoying, I really don't think of it as a huge complaint considering how friendly the staff is. They're always very polite and are really great to my son (some staff are always ready to hand him Buddy Bucks), and my wife just started using the pharmacy here and loves it. I also just got my flu shot here last week and it was smooth as silk (you know...besides the whole needle in my arm thing ).
