I honestly can't decide if that's a good or bad thing because it can get overwhelming fast. You go in looking for one thing and suddenly you're distracted by ten others. Probably a good thing overall, just not for your wallet. I had to talk myself into putting a few things back because I didn't actually need them right away, but I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood to browse and get inspiration for home projects. The staff here is SO helpful. One woman helped me find a specific gift wrap and spent a good 10 to 15 minutes walking around the store with me to track it down. She was incredibly communicative and kind (I really wish I caught her name). The checkout staff is just as pleasant. Everyone feels genuinely nice and helpful, not fake or rushed. They don't just ask how your day is, they actually follow up and engage. The deals and prices are great, as expected. I picked up a ton of Christmas and hosting items that I still use today. This by far is one of my favorite favorite stores to shop for all kinds of items but tonight it wasn't what I thought it would be. They usually carry a lot of things that I always purchase this time they were out so my trip was kind of wasted but not so much. I did end up buying some pots and pans and some things I needed glasses things that I definitely have bought in the past and I'm buying more. I see a lot of Christmas stuff up I'm not ready for that yet not a lot of people are. But frankly the store clerk was very young and immature. Not that I don't mind the only problem is is if they make too many mistakes at the register. Because this is one of my very favorite stores to shop I had to give a 3 star today because it just wasn't a wonderful experience like I normally get. So until then I will come back when Christmas comes close. I don't like the fact that Christmas is shoved down my throat at a time when Halloween hasn't even showed up yet. Of course I will always come back the good the bad and the ugly!!

It does also say it on the receipt but when you're used to returning things in this day and age with barely a fuss, it was quite the surprise. How exactly am I supposed to discover a defect without using the luggage? Apparently, their idea of a return policy is that you buy something, never use it, and bring it back in perfect condition. Otherwise, you're told to deal with the manufacturer. When I expressed my frustration and raised my voice, the situation became even worse. Management accused me of being a habitual customer who constantly returns merchandise. Completely false! I haven't returned anything to this store in at least 10 years. They eventually accepted the return, but not before turning a simple transaction into a humiliating confrontation. The management was rude, the staff unfriendly, and the entire experience was unnecessarily stressful. Ironically, they're much more enthusiastic about pushing their store credit card than helping customers with defective products. I've rarely felt so unwelcome as a customer. Well... today my sweet sensitive four year old daughter and I went there to treat her to some candy. She was so happy and excited. This guy knows my girls and knows they are very young. Well, my daughter excitedly placed her candy and slid it towards him with a big beautiful smile on her face . The candy slid towards him and he instantly and angrily admonished her and and said " that's not nice " ... of course being a little girl and him being a big angry man, it scared her and hurt her little girl heart. I was half tempted to start yelling at him and tell him to leave the parenting to me . She's only four and she surely didn't mean any rudeness towards him. Anyhow, I refrained because you never know with people these days and I'm not one to make a scene where all of my neighbors shop. Anyhow, never going there again. What a bad man her really is . The other guys are ok but this one guy with the angry eyebrows is a miserable piece of work. He showed his true colors when he yelled at an innocent happy four year old smiling girl for no reason at all. I advise that no one patronize thy store, especially those with children . I know it takes a villainess and all but not when one of the villagers can't show restraint with a four year old girl. He needs to crawl in some cave of misery and shrivel up to nothing. We don't need people like him in our community.
