I been in this store 4 times in the past 2 weeks and I have to say how grateful I'm with all the people that work there!!! When I asked for help they walked me right to the item, nice costumer service and amazing variety of things to create fairy gardens. I work with kids so this is my place to go to buy art supplies that are economical. It add up when you get carried away like me. My kids love the Valentine's stamps I got them.... I've been here a couple of times and have only had issues with a very specific employee. She appears to be RACIST. Loves to yell at the little kids. The first altercation was when my 2 YEAR OLD accidentally dropped a ball and it bounced down the aisle. No one was in the store but us and the employee came yelling at my son "NOT to bounce the ball" in such an aggressive demeanor. It's a literal 2 year old! Never in my years of working customer service have I thought of yelling at a child. I was livid to say the least. The second altercation occurred tonight when my son ran so my sister and my husband were getting him and again ABSOLUTELY NO ONE WAS NEAR US. But she decided to yell at my son and my little sister. Instead of coming to us as adults and talking to us like any adult should she yelled "NO NO NO NO YOU CANNOT RUN IN THE STORE". I then proceeded to confront her and told her to never again yell at my son and my sister like that again. Another employee comes threatening to call the cops on me simply because I asked to speak to the MANAGER. I expect her to be terminated. She always has a nasty attitude! She'll be smiling at WHITE FOLKS but when it's a Hispanic she has a stank eye. I've noticed so many nasty behaviors from her and absolutely think she should be terminated. read more

Easy in and easy out. I love the wide aisles. It does have a lot of things that large families would appreciate. I have been here several times and it is usually kept clean. The people working here have always been helpful. I try to drop by about once a month when I am in that area as there a several places to eat that I frequent. Products seem to run the main-stream types and if they carry something you like, you may find it at a better than average price. It just works and that is a good thing. Watch out in the parking lot. Cars going in all directions are the norm. read more

I was in this store on July 21, 2021, when I witnessed the Store Manager call by a group of people to the front of the store. The manager began to berate these employees, telling them "If you don't like the way I run this store, you can leave", "all of you are under investigation ", and " I am done with all of you people. I find this disrespectful, and highly unprofessional for a store manager. This was harassment that should not be allowed. read more

I watched an employee disrespectfully and loudly tell a customer to take out their dog. Then immediately make an announcement on the speaker of the store that "this isn't a dog store" more passive aggressive announcements and then say "thank you for shopping at dollar tree and have a good day." This is probably the worst location. It's almost never open and when it is open the store is a complete mess full of boxes blocking the aisles and no product on the shelves. Hey corporate you need to address the issues in this store. read more

I got very helpful service from a man here who filled up birthday balloons for my friends' (joined) birthday celebration. It is always fun to have a peak in this store, though they did have boxes stacked everywhere and a help wanted sign. I hope they get that help! I'll be back soon no doubt. read more

The customer service is always good. The cashiers are always pleasant and friendly. However, they are very understaffed and under stocked compared to nicer Dollar Trees. Many DTs Now have a HUGE craft section but not this one. There are always boxes everywhere and the store is usually in a mess. I'm sure because it's understaffed. There are no other competing stores nearby so why is this DT so shabby? I go to other DTs in Dallas and Houston and they are far cleaner and better stocked. What's up Dollar Tree? These aren't franchises so not sure why this one is such a dump (as are some others in Austin). read more

When you're hosting NYE and decide that paying $10 for plastic champagne flutes is ridiculous because you can be a high class broad and get REAL champagne flutes for a dollar a pop?! Yes and yes! I've always loved dollar tree, it's still beyond me how they make enough money to stay in business but I just keep my head down and don't ask questions. Along with my 13 champagne flutes, I got 6 wine glasses and 2 pilsners. AND stockings for next year on clearance for 50 cents a pop! I could tell I wasn't the check out lady's favorite customer of the day with all the glasswear but it's not like she had to wrap it or anything... I'll be back for you dollar tree, keep on keepin on! This has to be one of the best of the Dollar Trees that I've been in. When I first arrived in Austin a few years ago, I went to a certain Dollar Tree and when the automatic doors opened, I witnessed the place was jam packed with the great unwashed, I immediately did an about-face and burned off! This venue just recently opened and is spotless, well stocked and the staff is amazing. The patrons were civilized and well bred. This is a great addition to Southwest Austin. read more

Ruining my Dollar Tree experience! The Grand Opening was nice because the shelves was stacked and full, the floors were nice and clean and the Cashiers would greet the Customers with the ole' - "Welcome to the Dollar Tree!". Now, every time I visit the store, I see mostly empty shelves, very little Art and Craft supplies, dirty floors, canned foods but no can openers and the Employees look like they are unhappy to see the Customers. I hope that this Dollar Tree location will make an effort to operate the store, in a more Professional manner. read more

So I really like the Dollar Tree it's very awesome to have all the stuff that you know you can buy very cheap and it's good quality still. And normally I have a really good experience there and you know I can easily find stuff places and usually that messy, however today I was getting some birthday decoration stuff and I guess the shipment came in which is fine but like certain tiles were kind of crowded from you know I guess people trying to stock and I don't know if it was just poor planning of how much to bring. It was fine I found what I needed great alright I go to check out and it took a while to get a second cashier on the line cuz there was a long line for just one cashier. Soon there's two cashiers and it's my turn to check out and I normally don't like leaving negative reviews however but this cashier didn't ask me how I was if I found everything okay or you know any greedy. I get it it's your cashier it's a tough job but you still have the kind of give some respect to the guests that come through the store and maybe you're having an off day that's fine but you know make an attempt to just still smile and you know make sure that the customer found everything alright read more

I'm so disappointed... I thought I'd be walking into a nice, clean, up to date Dollar Tree, but it isn't. Floors look dirty and stained - even the cashier's shirt looked unclean. Today my wife and I went into the store to buy some stocking stuffers for Christmas. When we were checking out and I went to pay and pulled out a 100. The cashier (Krystal) said do you have change for that do you have anything else. I told her it was all I had. She said I will see if I have change for it. She then took it and asked was it fake. Which I responded no. She looks at my wife and I and said I'm just making sure. The dirty Mexicans have been coming in and trying to use them. My wife is Hispanic and we both became very upset. I love dollar tree, but this is the most filth, dirty, unorganized dollar tree I've ever been to. There were empty shelves everywhere and boxes that needed to be stocked on shelves that hadn't even been unpacked. I feel bad for their employees because they had no support from management. It's obvious the company doesn't pay enough. Two female employees were very personable and doing the best they could. Two male employees we're playing around, not doing anything. There was a long line to check out and only one employee on register. The store was being shop lifted while I was there because one employee said she watched the perpetrators doing it, but obviously the employees weren't trained on how to handle shoplifters. They didn't even call police. This is the closest location to my house and it's 20 miles away. This store could be making a ton of money, but the total mismanagement of this store is ridiculous. The last time I was there there was a homeless man stealing from the store. I wish this company would get this store in order. During a pandemic people need stores like these. Not clean!!! read more
