This review will be all over the place good and bad. 4/25/2023 when we came in the place was about 1/3 full. We waited for awhile (girl behind the bar mouthed "sorry"). Finally a man approached us (bald headed probably in his 30's). Literally while were taking off her jackets he say what do you want to drink??? I said I had no idea what they had and might like to see a menu.... Sounds bad but seemed like he had just blown a line of something. He was antsy, talking fast and kept sniffing lol. As time wore on he seemed to settle down and talk at a normal speed. Appetizer-Dolce Momma Meatballs (The Marinara sauce seemed fresh, homemade and delicious. The meatballs themselves were plain, overcooked and boring.) Side salad-very small but typical in all aspects. Dinner-Large Veggie Pizza. Crust outstanding, Pizza great flavor only negative was it was a little to wet from the veggies, if they can figure it out it will be award winning. Atmosphere-Clean, neat and crazy Loud!!!!!

The food has gone down hill. The service is ok and other than Pizza, you may want to choose another location for dinner.

Pasta

We did not like this place at all on our first visit. We all ordered creamy things and disliked them. It's so close to our new home that we decided to give it a second chance. Glad we did. There are definitely items on the menu that I don't personally enjoy, but there are plenty of others that I do. This is a good restaurant. The ambience is nice. The service is friendly. There is a bit of a tv sports bar aspect to it, but not overwhelmingly so, if that's not your thing. Sometimes we eat in, there. We often get takeout and go pick up our food.

Chicken Marsala- with chef's choice of starch (a couple slices of potatoes & boiled broccoli)

Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy

Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy

I attended Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Part II in DC, and overall it was a really enjoyable…read moreexperience--especially for fans of Poe--but with a few logistical quirks worth noting. First, "speakeasy" is definitely used loosely here. The event took place in a ballroom at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, with a stage set up at the front and several round 8-top tables arranged throughout the room. It felt more like a small theatrical performance with table seating than an intimate, hidden speakeasy-style venue. One thing to flag: the event FAQ mentioned that some venues may have a pre-show bar but no food. That wasn't the case here--the hotel actually had food available for purchase before the show. So if that matters to you, it's worth checking directly with the venue rather than relying solely on the event website. The performers truly carry the entire experience. They handle everything--checking tickets, seating guests, serving cocktails, and performing--which is impressive but also leads to some occasional disorganization. When we arrived, there wasn't great communication between the ticket checker and the usher, so some guests seated themselves and had to be moved later. It didn't ruin anything, but smoother coordination would make the start of the evening feel more polished. As for the cocktails: you get four, one paired with each story. Unfortunately, this was probably the most underwhelming part. The drinks weren't very strong--you could barely taste the alcohol--and despite the website showing nice glassware, they were actually served in plastic cups. It didn't quite live up to the "cocktail experience" expectation. That said, the performance itself was fantastic. The cast was engaging, energetic, and clearly passionate about Poe's work. They performed The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and each was brought to life in a compelling way. There were even a few ad-libbed moments that added humor and kept the show feeling fresh. The actors also did a great job interacting with the audience at each table while serving drinks, which added a personal touch. Overall, despite a few hiccups with logistics and the cocktails, the strength of the performances makes this a worthwhile experience--especially if you're a Poe fan.

The performance was fantastic and the cocktails were fabulous! The facility was nice but if I…read morecould change one thing it would be the chairs.

It's open Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. My friend and I made our first visit early Friday evening. The service was good, and the food more than lived up to expectations. We started with tender, well-seasoned beef skewers, crispy buffalo wings over blue cheese, and perfectly cooked roasted cauliflower paired with a tasty tzatziki sauce and pickled onion. For my entree, I ordered the maple-glazed short rib. It was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and came with creamy sweet potato puree and roasted shallots. My friend ordered the rich, deeply flavorful bolognese. Although she received the small plate portion rather than the entree, it wasn't a major issue as we had more than enough food. There are still many items on the menu I'd like to try, and after such a strong first visit, I'll most certainly be back.

But, I will be coming back here, and I usually don't like visiting a place I already went to twice but the food here was really good so coming back is a must. We had the Pork shank, Cuban, PRC Burger and chicken for the kids and yes I tried everything and yes all was delicious. Highly recommend this spot and yes its good for kids too, no kid menu but my kids liked it so idk bring the kids along if you want. Price wise was good as well. Dining at Swift was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, but what impressed us even more was the entire experience. Every course, every interaction, and every detail reflected genuine pride and care. We spent the day exploring Historic Bethlehem, enjoying the charming shops and restaurants, then returned to what felt like a peaceful retreat. It was the perfect combination of a boutique hotel and a walkable, historic town. In a world where many places promise a luxury experience, the Wilbur Mansion quietly delivers something even better...an experience that feels personal, authentic, and unforgettable. We arrived hoping for a relaxing weekend getaway and left already talking about when we'll come back. Thank you to everyone for creating such a memorable experience. We will certainly be back and tell everyone about our perfect weekend getaway!

Update on Nov 30, 2025…read more We have once again stayed at this beautiful place and am in awe with their attention to details and the lovely holiday decor. We stayed in the premier king with soaking tub room and everything is described to perfection from the spacious bathroom with the soaking tub to the separate get ready changing room. The overall room and establishment decor is one thing, but what elevates this establishment are the personal human connections with the attentive staffs. A huge shoutout to both Sundiata and Lou for their graciousness and hospitality skills. They along with the restaurant bartender tonight, Ashlynn, continue to make us feel like a home away from home. Having been here a few times and been to their restaurant, we highly recommend this place to both locals and visitors.
