Worst customer service, I have had. 3 girls must be family owned because of the way their girls were speaking. Oh man, I'm reminded of my sister's and I arguing back in the days. We placed our order and made a mistake, and then the girl who was making the order was upset with me when her co-worker made the mistake. No apologies, not at one time. The girl that was going to correct the mistake went on to pop open a straw and drank the drink before even correcting my order. I just asked for a refund and left. Waited a long time while she finished an order ahead of us fresas con crema, didn't even say "I'll be right with you" she looked at us come in and said "are you here for the take out order" we said no. I visited Dolce Cravings and I usually get there mini pancakes here. Mini pancakes are ok. But this time around I decided to try their crepes. Their crepes were bad. First off they had burned my crepe to the point where I couldn't cut through it. In order to cover up them burning my crepe they overload it with nutella and lechera. It was the worst crepe I had. I thought their whole menu of snacks would be good but I wouldn't recommend the crepe at all. Not to mention they don't even have everything available on their menu after a certain hour. Great mini pancakes but the experience is a little odd. They are located in a functioning seafood/sushi restaurant waiting area. So you have to wait outside so as to not disturb the restaurant patrons. Not a big deal but was just different. Also they only accept cash or Zelle. I was having trouble paying with Zelle but was able to send money via ApplePay. Pancakes were delicious and the toppings we got on ours tasted great and the strawberries were fresh. The idea is nothing out of this world (freshly made dime-sized pancakes with up to three toppings to choose from) but the execution is what makes it great. This place is actually located inside another restaurant, since I think they rent out the window section and pay the owners for the space (the actual local is called Emporio Sushi & Mariscos, so just Google Maps it and it should take you to this place, as they both share the same address). The portion sizes range from 15 mini pancakes for 7 bucks, all the way up to 100 pancakes for 40 bucks. The place is run by about 4 or 5 really nice college-age women and although they do get a line going, due to the high demand and also maybe needing some more personnel, the pancakes are worth it. Steer clear from this place. I work across from this place and thought to give it a try based of the photos shared on their website and from the commotion they had a couple of days ago. Ordered 3 different items and they were not served as they advertised on their website. The diablito was the most disappointing. The portion served was less than what they advertised and looked like someone picked at it. My co-worker ordered an ice coffee and the garnish was missing. The cremas con fresa had a watery consistency. When getting the order, it took over 30 minutes. We came across their Instagram and decided to give it try. They promoted tasty looking antojitos that looked worth giving a try. We had gotten 3 toatiesquites and one regular esquite. We tried the tostesquite and all 3 of the chips we had gotten with the esquite, hot Cheatos, Tostitos verdes and flamas, were ALL STALE. We had paid a pretty good amount for what we had gotten and they gave us really really stale chips. The regular esquite came with no mayonnaise and we had paid the normal price for them. We had paid about $60, we had also gotten the mini pancakes, to get stale chips and a tostiesquite with no mayonnaise. To pay this much, I was expecting everything to be good. It looks like they either save the extra chips they don't use from previous orders or they use expired chips to serve their orders. I'm not the type to come and write bad reviews but I was very disappointed with how bad the food was and how much people have to pay to get bad tasting food. Ok so tiktok got me here too. Overall good. We ordered a large box of 50 mini pancakes for $20. We didn't need that many as they were very filling and overall yummy, the toppings help. We had cajeta, Nutella, and strawberries, which all came combined on top of the mini pancakes. Service is by sullen teenagers and thus didn't expect much.
