Chocolate Cake, coffee

Good coffee, great cake! Would recommend giving this place a try! The people working are also very nice.

Coffee in a chocolate cup

My favorite coffee spot in Manassas! The coffee in the cookie cup is a must-try. It's so fun and delicious. I couldn't leave without grabbing some of my favorite desserts too. Everything tastes homemade and full of love. The service is always amazing and welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. Always a treat coming here!

This bakery was super cute once coming inside. I came for ice cream and they also had empanadas which was nice. I love the ambiance and the variety of the desserts available. Cute place to stop by for coffee and dessert! I'll have to try the cake pops next time. everything I had was tasty and will be returning when I'm in the area.

This cute Peruvian bakery had absolutely delicious cookies! I tried the following: Rosquitas - These had a great crumble and went well with a cup of coffee! Alfajor de Maicena - These absolutely melt in your mouth and are filled with perfect dulce de leche Alfajor de chocolate - The chocolate flavor really kicked it up a notch for these. This was my favorite out of the bunch Spritz Cookies - So these are called spritz cookies because they are technically piped instead of using a cookie cutter! They were the perfect sized sugar cookies but fair warning. You will eat four of these before you realize how many you've eaten because they are that good! The crumble texture was amazing. Mini Caramel Horns - These are the alfajores in horn form! Also equally delicious. All in all, definitely stop by and find them because they have so many other baked goods on display, which means that there is something for every sweet tooth! Plus, everything is completely reasonably priced. Add that to the fact that the staff was extremely friendly,

I discovered Dolce Amore Sweets at the Manassas Farmer's Market and was so happy when they opened their own shop. I visited their shop recently to buy our favorite Mini Alfajores and Peruvian Chocolate Cake. I love that I can buy Peruvian Chocolate Cake by the slice! And it's my favorite place to go whenever I'm craving for chocolate cake. My boyfriend really loves their mini alfajores and can finish a box in one sitting. I would also recommend their pianonos. The owner is also very friendly and I appreciate that they are always active on social media and still selling at farmer's markets. I'd love to try their other desserts one of these days.

I placed an order at this bakery (from out of state) based on just Yelp reviews. Customer service was top notch! The bakery answered all of my questions in a kind and professional way. They promised delivery and offered to text when they were planning to arrive. The cake was absolutely beautiful. It was a chocolate cake with whipped cream and strawberries. They even wrote a beautiful message in top! Absolutely excellent! I highly recommend!

a variety of desserts

Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Purchased 5 different deserts and all were sooo delicious! Employees were so sweet and it's just a happy place! Will be back!

Saw this place posted on a Facebook group for foodies and decided to stop in for dessert one day after lunch. The first impression was "Nice, Clean and Abundant!" They have a big cooler, loaded with treats when you walk in. They make cakes, sandwiches and other Peruvian items. Service was friendly and nice. Tres Leches was OK, it was fresh and moist, but a little too sweet. Overall, I'd definitely return!

But trust me, this is one of those places you'll be glad you found. I love Turkey, and the second I tried their food, it genuinely took me right back. We ordered the traditional Turkish breakfast, and it was one of those meals where the food just keeps coming in the best way possible. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, comforting, and so clearly made with care. We also tried the flatbread, a meat wrap, smoothies, their special soup which was so good I would absolutely go back just for that, warm catmir for dessert, and a bunch of appetizers. Honestly, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I also had the chance to meet the owner and chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly puts so much heart into this place. And the restaurant itself completely surprised me because it is way bigger inside than you'd expect. Super clean, modern, beautifully designed, and honestly such a cute brunch spot. Weekend music nights? Love that. Girls brunch? Absolutely. Date night? Definitely. Family dinner? 100 percent. Finding the love of your life? Slightly better odds if someone's mom brings their eligible son. Overall, this really is such a lovely hidden gem and absolutely worth checking out if you're craving authentic Turkish food in the Manassas area.

We came here for Mother's Day, they don't take reservations so we made sure to arrive right when they opened. We walked right in and within 30 min there was a line of about 30 people waiting to be seated. This place is HUGE and they still had a big line, but let me tell you it is worth it!!! Service was impecable, shout out to our server Ilke, she was so nice and attentive. She recommended getting my serpme, which was perfect to share for 2 adults and two kids. It comes with a variety of spreads, sweet and savory. All freshly made. The fig jam, butter and honey, feta spread and tomato one were amazing!! You get a side dish, we got the eggs with tomatoes and pepper and they were delicious! The zucchini fritter was also delicious. The spreads come with unlimited bread made in house. They have a huge selection of delicious looking desserts. We got complimentary baklavas that were amazing, so we didn't get to try any other dessert but we can't wait to come back!!

Incredibly, all 3 of the 2022 runner-up were in Virginia as I live in Anne Arundel County, MD, but that's just how it worked out with Jirani Coffee House being the furthest from my home at a staggering 53 miles away. It was one of those strange Saturdays where I ended up further and further from my home throughout the day. There was something expensive I was shopping for (bed) where I wanted to test in person as opposed to buying online without knowing. It was in a bedding store in the Tysons area, which I ended up buying from them in the end. Then, there was an astronomy Meetup out at the Air & Space Museum out in Chantilly, so I was like I'm already out in Tysons, and in the 11 years living in the DMV, I need to visit this location of Air & Space. The astronomy Meetup was canceled due to overcast weather, which I didn't realize until after I got there, but I enjoyed the museum until closing time. I weighed options and saw a coffee & comedy Meetup even further from my home in Manassas, which I decided to do since the astronomy event was canceled, and I had already driven all that way. Experience at Jirani: This was a cute coffee house in historic downtown Manassas. The iced chai was excellent, and the staff was friendly. Then, the comedy at nearby ART Factory was great too as was the museum which had some free wine & hors d'oeuvres. If I'm ever in Manassas, I'd definitely try to get back to Jirani!

The mangonadas are crazy here, but I prefer to share that with a big group as I literally only want 3 bites. I frequent here for the agua frescas: fresa (strawberry) and horchata are my favorites. I missed the melon agua fresca, so it's definitely on my list to try. I also regularly buy a few paletas (popsicles) to save for a hot day like strawberry with yogurt, strawberry milk, nance milk (this has seeds so be prepared to spit out the nance seeds), and oreo. They have ice cream that I've yet to try, but it's a fun spot to bring the family to and then maybe head over to the brewery across the street. There's not a lot of indoor space and zero outdoor tables to enjoy with the group. It's worth a trip and to try delicious desserts.

I asked my boo to pick up some popsicles for me- we got one fruit and yogurt and one rum raisin. These options weren't my fav and I hadn't gone back for a second chance since last sept. I went back last week....and back today. I CANNOT GET ENOUGH. So many options, flavors- so little tummy space LOL. I've had the chocobananas covered in pecans (it's a huge frozen banana hand dipped in hot chocolate in front of you then rolled in nuts or topping of your choice while the chocolate is hardening) SO great for under $3. Like ARE U KIDDING I can't NOT get it. I've tried several popsicle flavors at this point. The flavors are authentic, fruit based, works of art. From cookies and cream with Oreos visible in the popsicle to mango and chili....you'll be back for sure. Prices are unreal for real fruit popsicles, I believe under $3 each! They also have hard ice cream with a ton of flavors native to south and Central America! This spot reminds me of what it was like in Ecuador eating fresh guanabana ice cream...really fantastic one of a kind legit authentic spot. Please continue to support and grab a ton of popsicles you won't regret it! I'm planning my next trip as we speak :)
