First I will say that I have 6 very small dogs and have used Dogtroplis several times over the past few years for our grooming needs. For the most part have been satisfied with their groomer Yvette's talent and feel Yvette has always been good and pleasant to work with. For that matter the entire staff has always been very friendly. On Wednesday September 23, 2015 I had 4 of my dogs groomed and 3 of them looked very nice. My male Maltese was not as good as had been previously. He had longer facial hair on the right side with a lot more bulk than the left; his ears were not blocked off as requested, his eyes were very uneven also. When I dropped my dogs off I asked the attendant to have Yvette call me and she did not call. Possibly did not get message? I called to speak with Susie the business owner and our conversation was not a pleasant one and by that I don't want any to think there was yelling etc. Susie was very even tempered and spoke politely but it was the way she handled my concern. She started by saying that I have complained every other time I had my dogs groomed which is not even close to an accurate statement although I do recall at least one occasion that I had a minor concern and was taken care of with no hassle at all. This time however, Susie to my surprise suggested that I may want to consider another groomer because Yvette has been grooming for thirty years and never gets complaints. Now if I was constantly complaining as previously stated, I would have stopped taking my dogs to her long ago. This is only common sense that you would not continue using their services if you were not happy or at least that's the way I do business. My surprise was that Susie did not ask to see the dog and when I offered to email her a photo she was not interested. I did tell her that as a business owner if I had a customer with a concern I would at the very least want to see what they were concerned about and attempt to resolve the issue. Susie was more eager to tell me about their reviews and rating on Angie's list than she was about resolving my issue. Susie did offer to refund my money and I explained that was not the purpose for my call and opted not to accept a refund (call me crazy) but again that was not why I called. I just wanted them to see my dog and fix it nothing more nothing less. Susie it's great to have good reviews and the rating on Angie's list but if you continue with your attitude with regards to customer care, Angie's list will not save your business. Losing just one customer for me in my business would not be acceptable. One customer at a time will add up quickly. I just wish you would have shown enough interest to have asked to see my dog so since you didn't I decided to post his pic for all to see and form their own opinion. You will also see on my FB page. Overall I believe you have a good business and pray that my recent experience was not the norm and for that reason I have decided to take your advice and do business elsewhere in the future.

As much as I love Indy Vet for true emergencies, I really want to find a local vet that can get us in same day for when illness or injuries come up that aren't true emergencies, but require prompt attention. Our vet tech today told us that they leave so many slots each day for urgent care cases. Paired with the excellent, friendly care, I think we've finally found our regular vet. Everything felt clean and everyone we encountered seemed to truly like cats. They worked confidently with him, while respecting his level of fear and doing things to make it as easy as possible on him. I was given an estimate after his exam and recommendations for treatment. After signing the treatment plan, they quickly took care of his needs and then sent us on our way with medicines and a nice welcome goodie bag that included one free flea and tick topical treatment and some other kitty goodies. Prices were reasonable and seem pretty comparable. They offer a first free exam coupon on their website, and that was certainly appreciated with this unforseen expense. Definitely plan to return.

If I could give a zero I would. Horrible Customer service and really no care for our dog at all…read more Before we decided to do the surgery, we had spoke to three doctors at VCA because of the location on our dog to ensure they would be able to close the wound. We decided to go forward with the surgery because we had the reassurance that it would be successful. A couple days after the surgery the wound had began to open, so we reached out to them for assistance. We sent pictures at that point, and they assured us that it was healing properly even though it was seeping and starting to open. The wound continued to get worse so we reached out to VCA again. They told us that they had nobody that could help us and we would have to take the dog to an emergency vet. Just as a side note we followed all after surgery instructions, even with keeping him in a crate. When we went to the emergency vet, they could not believe that the dog had no outside stitches and only had inside stitches placed considering the location of the wound. We had to spend another $800 due to the negligence of this vet and their inability to offer care for our dog after his surgery. This facility should not be able to call itself a hospital when they have no ability to assist with procedures needed after they have performed the surgeries. Shame on this Vet. After a visit at the emergency vet, they got the wound closed and we've had no issues since getting it fixed. It obvious Sugar Grove did not do this procedure properly. I would advise anyone to think twice before letting this Vet anywhere near their babies.
