I'm a fan! I recently moved and needed a new doggy daycare for my pup. I heard great things about this place so I decided to give it a try and I'm so thrilled that I did. In the short few weeks I've been bringing my dog here everyone already knows him by name. All of the staff greet him as soon as he walks through the door. When I pull into the parking lot he gets so excited. He can't wait to get inside and that's all I need to see to know he's in good hands. All of the staff I've interacted with has been so polite and friendly. I also love the feedback they give me while my dog is there. I left my dog, Georgia, here for the weekend. They went above and beyond and took such great care of her that when I came to pick her up, she looked at me and turned around to run back inside to play! I had been so worried because She has only ever stayed at one other doggie daycare. she came back from the first doggie daycare stressed and with her nose rubbed raw. When she got home from puppy pitstop she was calm and happy and curled right up and took a nap. The owner herself took Georgia in and cared to write down that she loves to play outside so that she could get extra outside time. I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience and I wouldn't leave her anywhere else besides puppy pitstop ever again! Thank you so much for giving her a great weekend full of love and playing. Puppy pitstop is the best of the best when It comes to taking care of your animals like they're their own animals. I now won't feel bad going away for the weekend without her because she has her own fun vacation to go to here at puppy pitstop and she loved it there. Reasonably priced and pups looked great after their gooms (Australian Shepherds). I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to meet the groomer or get a "report" on how my dogs did (were they stressed, were they cooperative, do they need more training to be easier to deal with at 60+ lbs etc...) But to be fair I didn't ask to meet the groomer; although I did ask the aforementioned questions and was told, "I don't know, fine I think. There's no bad notes on their files." Overall I plan to take them back and maybe try out the daycare, and we'll see how subsequent grooms go! read more

I used to like this place but out of the blue they changed their grooming+half-day day care. I have taken them here numerous times with this option and today I was called saying it would be a full day charge because they had less dogs to groom. They have NEVER done this before or explained this difference in charge. I will be taking my pups to another place that does the groom+day care from now on. Wow, just got my dogs back for the last time from this place and they stink. It smells like a dirty dog rubbed off on them in the cages or something. They also did the wrong cut on both dogs for the third time in a row. Cannot stress enough how done with this place I am. read more

My dogs (70 lbs and 40 lbs) went to be groomed and play at doggy daycare today. Everyone was very friendly and they asked me exactly how I wanted them to be groomed. My dogs look great and they are exhausted. The facility looked clean and my dogs are happy. We will definitely be returning. read more

We absolutely love Puppy Pitstop! It started off with us taking an amazing training class with Robbie, to dropping our puppy off for daycare. He plays all day long and comes home perfectly happy and exhausted. He even gets excited driving past Puppy Pitstop. Their staff has been nothing short of wonderful and so sweet. I would recommend this place to anybody, I have never trusted anybody more with our fur baby. read more

We have two Dachshunds (2 1/2 year old and a 7 month old). They are very energetic and love playing with other dogs. But we've always struggled when walking them on a leash. Arnie (older dog) runs to the end of the leash barking and carrying on when we're on a walk and another dog approaches - it sounds very aggressive sometimes because he even starts growling! Elfie immediately learned this behavior and has taken it to a whole new level. She always sounds aggressive. This behavior has caused a lot of issues - mostly feeling like a bad dog mommie. We don't take them on hikes with us anymore because we don't want to have those negative encounters. I've tried using deli meat to distract them from the other dogs while we walk but that doesn't even work. I finally decided it was time for help. I found Robbie through an online search and could not be happier with what we've experienced so far. She is more than happy to come to your house too! She's been to our place twice to make sure the dogs know the basic commands. She uses positive reinforcement training and the clickers. Now that we're following her lead, the dogs know lots of commands and seem a lot happier! Over the weekend, we brought the dogs to Puppy Pitstop for some leash training. Robbie made sure that other dogs would be present so we could have some practice. We had a big space to work with and the dogs have already showed a lot of progress. We spent a little over an hour practicing how to handle the dogs, what to do when they start barking, and how to reward the good behavior when it occurs. The dogs were exhausted from the training (and some play time with the other dogs)! Robbie's positive reinforcement style of training is absolutely wonderful and produces quality results very quickly. Scott and I are better dog owners because of how Robbie works with us as well! She has a great deal of self control which allows her to always stay in control of the dogs while she works with them. She has a calm demeanor and our dogs respond very well to that! After the training sessions, Scott and I feel more calm and in control. The Puppy Pitstop facility is pretty big - two large areas for the dogs and they're never EVER in a crate during doggy daycare. They have nothing to hide and won't BS you if your dog is having a tough day. I've been to other places that no matter what - will tell you that your dog is awesome and having a blast. The people here are experienced professionals and your dog(s) will be in great hands! read more

I took both our dogs today for the first time to be groomed. I went in a couple of weeks ago randomly just to check this place out. It is very clean the owner showed me around, I did not know she was the owner, she's very friendly all the staff are friendly, the dogs looked happy and cared for. They have a large open room with fences so that the dogs can roam free and play. I picked up my dogs in less than four hours. That has never happened at the other place I went. The dogs were happy, my Lhasa Apso mix was in the playroom playing with other dogs and my Bichon Yorky who is not other pet friendly was up in the front with staff, both dogs were very happy and turned out beautiful. I love this place so much! I've boarded everywhere on the west side and there just isn't a great place like Puppy Pitstop. I really have hesitated to leave a review because I don't everyone to know my secret. :) But that wouldn't be fair to the great work that they are doing. They are family owned, and the whole family is there to help. They are all very sweet, kind and caring people. I've boarded my Cocker Spaniel there about 10-12 times over the last year and they always do a fantastic job. SO CLEAN, lots of time outside of her kennel. She is always happy when I get her. I've also gotten her groomed there over the last year and they do a great job of that as well. I just can't say enough about them! Thanks for taking such good care of my pooch! read more

Lisa was amazing at the front desk and over the phone; we even got our pooch groomed the same day we phoned in & he was ready in just a couple of hours! I am somewhat new to the area and tried this place for grooming after having a horrible experience at J&J Grooming. I was very happily surprised! The staff was busy, but very friendly. They were fast on the grooming and were able to work with my dog that hates getting her nails trimmed-- no bleeding on her nails either! They have a very talented groomer and my dog was happy hanging out in the open dog play areas when waiting for me to come back and pick her up. read more
