Two Mutts and a Wiener - This groomer is the best! When they can take on new clients definitely reach out! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

This was our first experience at 2 Mutts and a Wiener. My husband was driving around one afternoon and happened upon this small shop. Their located off of 62nd Street and LaPas Trail east of Georgetown Rd. After learning more about the groomers and seeing a relaxed atmosphere he made an appointment. We took Baxter, our Tennessee Treeing Brindle Hound, in first for grooming on Friday at 1:00 p.m. He's a short hair dog so hair trimming wasn't required. What he did need was a good bath and all the other luxuries offered. When we arrived Joe greeted us immediately. After reviewing Baxter's vaccination records and learning a little more about Baxter he was ready to take him back. For safety reasons, current vaccination records are required, they accept all breeds but they do not accept out of state pets. They recommend you not wait on your pet in the shop so the pet can focus on the groomer. Baxter appeared very comfortable with Joe and the surroundings, which was incredibly important, so I felt less anxious leaving him. Because Baxter wasn't familiar with these folks and this wasn't a routine visit they said they'd proceed slowly as not to traumatize him. He was scared since he rarely is lifted up because he's 65 lbs and bulky plus he's not a fan of a nail trim or blow drying but he enjoyed the bath, warm water and the massaging. All-in-all things we already knew were uncomfortable for him in the past. No surprise growling, snapping or biting reactions just pure fear of lifting. Joe said give them two hours and he'd call 20 minutes ahead of pickup time. I did start to worry when he hadn't called by 4:00 but I assumed they didn't start right at 1:00. Since it was later than I expected I had my husband pick Baxter up on his way home from work. Joe provided feedback and discussed his experience with my husband. He arrived home with his Halloween bandana on, happy, excited with a shiny coat and much fresher. We'll most likely return to have our Whippet/Beagle mix groomed in the near future. Again, I can't speak to the trimming quality since our dogs are short haired. Give them a call for an appointment if you're looking for a groomer in a relaxed atmosphere. read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would. They meticulously take care of my 5 dogs, even my grumpy girl who hates her nails being trimmed. Our small rescue chihuahua who has a medical issue, is always given the utmost of time, care, and love while at their shop. Everyone comes home looking fabulous, even the ones with difficult coats. They have taken the time to learn about our breed and are dedicated to educating their clients on taking the best care of their dogs. Their adorable photos are an added bonus, including the ones of my recently departed heart dog. Thank you for all you do! read more

My husband and I have been searching high and low for a new groomer for our furbaby. We usually take her to petsmart, but haven't been happy with the results of her previous cuts. I've always noticed this business while getting my nails done at the shop next door to them and finally decided to give them a call....SO GLAD I DID! I can't thank them enough for grooming her, this is the best she has ever looked!! read more

Two Mutts and a Wiener - After her wash and cut - Pet Groomers Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

We love this groomer! They have great, friendly service and it's obvious that they really care for furry friends. Booking an appointment is always easy and you can just text them or send a message on Facebook. Most importantly, Belle is aggressive with other dogs so it's harder to find a groomer that will accept her. Two Mutts and a Wiener welcomed her right in and always makes time for an appointment with her. Belles trim, deshedding, and wash/blow-dry is under $50 and she is around 60 pounds. It usually takes about an hour and a half. We actually moved out of Indy and into Hamilton County recently, but we still make the drive there! Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet girl that struggles with socialization! read more

Can't say enough good things! We have two dogs and were struggling with grooming. We had mixed experiences at Petco and a few other places in town. We found Two Mutts and are so happy! Our dogs are a shaggy, lesser known breed. They knew right away what they were and they groom them beautifully!! They also clearly know dogs and love them, I feel really good when I drop our dogs off knowing they will be well taken care of! We are now on a regular grooming schedule and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!! Highly recommend!! read more

Our senior dog had her 1st time meeting and groom wirh them this week.. But, you would've thought she'd been there before. Top notch pleasant experience. You can tell they know what they're doing and it shows. Snce we like our Shepard/Rottweiler mix shaved down Ariane took the time to ask which blade our past pre Covid19 groomer had used so they could use the same. Never ever has our gal been groomed in less than 4 hours, that in itself was amazing. And from head to paws including her little docked tail looks great. I truly believe folk are put in our paths for a reason. This holds true for our old pups path as well. read more

Ariane is amazing and so talented! I took my puppy Boomer here for his first grooming last night and she did an excellent job! She made an appointment in the evening which was super convenient when I end my day at work at 5 PM. My puppy smelled and looked great! Ariane listened to my wants and needs and did everything I asked for. I will definitely be back :) read more

I am so impressed with this place! I'm in town because my dad is sick, and I took my dog here for a bath and quick trim (he's almost bald so not a lot of trimming to do!). She (Ariane?) was awesome. He is so clean and happy! I've taken him to places far more expensive (albeit in a more expensive area) and they didn't do half the job she did. Awesome. read more

Look no further. Ariane is awesome! She boarded my two dogs and groomed them as well. Their hair cuts were perfect. Both came home tired from activity, looking great, with tails wagging. I was thrilled to see they'd made so many new friends. I could tell they had a wonderful stay. read more

What a wonderful 1st grooming experience we had at Two Mutts and a Weiner! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They listened to what we wanted done and made a few suggestions to help us, but weren't pushy. The cost was comparable with other groomers I contacted, and my pup was able to play with another pup before his appointment, which he saw as a perIt was easy to get an appointment as well, where some groomers were saying they were booked months out. We will be headed back in a couple months for another appointment! read more

Love this place, love Ariane, and love that my dog walked in like he owned the place ( he's very scared of everything). She made my mike look great! read more

Ariane is an amazing groomer. I have a Miniature Schnauzer who I use to take to Pet Smart until I found Two Mutts and a Wiener. We are a customer for life. Prices are reasonable and service is awesome. My baby shines bright like a diamond every time. Ariane is accomodating not only to my baby's needs but my schedule. This is the place if you are looking for quality service and a groomer who listens and cares about your best partner four leg friend. You'll have no regrets. read more

This was my first experience with 2 mutts and a Weiner, I chose them because of many of the other reviews I saw about how well they did with difficult dogs. I have a senior rescue that is very fearful of getting his nails trimmed, he thrashes and bites. When I reached out to Ariana she provided me with a facebook group to look into due to covid 19 restrictions she was not able to get him in when I had contacted her. Once the precautions were lifted she reached out to me and was more than willing to try to help my doggo. When I brought him he was scare and resistive but they were patient and caring and tried to give him the time and space he needed to calm down. Unfortunately due to his resistance and Ariana's concerns he would hurt himself trying to fight them they were not able to trim his nails. She provided me with a ton of suggestions to try, I appreciate her compassion for my doggo and willingness to help. They were able to get him washed and he smelled and looked so handsome. She was not going to charge me at all for my grooming because he was so difficult and they were not able to accomplish as much with him. She spent 4 hours of her time trying to work with him and give him time to accept that she was trying to help him feel and look better and didn't want anything for that. I insisted she desired to be paid for her time and effort and she still greatly undercharged me for the work she put. 2 mutts and a Weiner is truly a place that cares about our furry family members and I would highly recommend them for your doggie grooming needs. read more

We have taken our two golden retrievers to Two Muuts and a Wiener for a couple of years. The service is the best! Our dogs are BEAUTIFUL when they are finished at their day at the spa! The "technicians" are the best and take great care of our dogs while they are under their care! read more

I took my two dogs here today for a grooming and I was very impressed. I have been going to a different groomer for some time now but I was getting increasingly worried with how they were treating one of my dogs. He was always so scared to go in he would be clawing and hanging on me which was not normal. I decided it was time to switch and I found Two Mutts and a Wiener. This was seriously the best my two dogs have ever looked. If you're looking for a kind, gentle and trust worthy groomer I suggest taking your dog here. She took the time to listen to me and the fact that my dogs seemed comfortable with her made me so happy. Prices are great too!! read more

Ariane did a great job with our Yorkie! Prices are excellent and it only took about two hours. We were able to pay using Venmo but they also take cash or check. Also super convenient to be able to schedule by email. Highly recommend bringing your dogs here, they will be well cared for. read more

Ariane is AMAZING! Duffy, my 63 lb Border Collie Aussie mix rescue, had been abandoned for at least a month when we found him. Even now, 6+ years later, he still suffers from some separation anxiety. Ariane really understands how important it is to take grooming at a pace that gives time to build trust during the process. She did a phenomenal job on my fur-kid and I will now be taking him to her on a regular basis. Thank you so much Ariane for taking the time you did with Duffy! read more
