I wanted a smaller establishment that would provide SoraBelle with a more intimate experience verses treating her like a random number. I had been on the waitlist for a few weeks before receiving the call that her new groomer Rachel was available. Prior to SoraBelle's appointment we received personalized messages that included reminders and pics for my groomer in prep for SoraBelle's first cut. I did not get to do the initial meet-n-greet with Rachel due to out of state travel but the hubby reassured me the drop off went really good. The feedback was Rachel seemed knowledgeable, attentive and excited to meet SoraBelle; getting on the floor for a proper hello. My feedback on Rachel during the pickup validated everything I was told. Rachel did a phenomenal job! This is the best groom that SoraBelle's received. We are booked out for the remainder of the year!

After getting band from trims elsewhere and with us tired of wrangling the little monster into trimming a few nails at a time ourselves, we came across this place on a Facebook forum for local pug owners. We had so much trouble finding a groomer that would return our calls in the last several months that we ended up buying two grooming kits from Amazon and our poor little doggie looked like he was a beauty school test case. I was so thrilled to hear about Wildflower Pet Spa opening in the Broadripple/Glendale area, and was even more thrilled when Tami returned my call as quickly as she did and got him in for a grooming appointment. When we brought him in he was an absolute mess. Tami worked with him often on throughout an entire day, fitting him in between other doggies in order to give him some time to rest and remain calm. He's blind and it takes him a little while to warm up to a new groomer... But Tami was incredibly patient with him. I have since been back a second time and had an equally wonderful experience. She was kind, flexible highly skilled, and did a great job maintaining communication with us throughout the day about timing. I would recommend this place to anyone! As a bonus, if you pay in cash there is a small discount applied to your service, it may be 3%? Don't quote me on that, but it is something to ask about.

A few days ago, I took my Bichon to Bark at the Moon, Greenwood, for a regular grooming. Twenty…read moreminutes after I dropped off my dog, the owner, Amandalynn Moon, called me to tell me they were going to shave my dog's tail. The tail was not matted, and I told her I did not want the tail shaved and to just leave it alone and not trim it at all. She yelled at me, "Come get your dog now!" She actually threw my dog out just because I told her not to trim my dog's tail. This extreme inflexibility and hostility toward me and the fact that they now require clients to book their pets no more than 8 weeks apart, are conclusive evidence that this business does not prioritize customer desires and needs. I'm glad I found out what these people are like. My dog deserves better. I would give this business a minus rating if I could. The owner of Bark at the Moon gave a hostile and unprofessional response to my review and is further proof that this business is not interested in understanding or resolving problems. Here is my response: You have been waiting for my review? I'll bet you HAVE been because you aren't businesspeople. You are bullies! The fact that you want to argue about this proves that you do not know how to run a business. There are so many untruths and exaggerations in your response. How I spoke to YOU? On the phone, you brusquely stated that you were going to shave my dog's tail. You didn't ask whether I approved or offer to discuss it. I tried to let you off the hook by saying don't trim her tail at all. You then yelled at me to come get my dog and hung up the phone. Your demeanor was unacceptable. There was no previous warning or discussion about matting (I had been a customer for more than a year), and I would never have accepted a future appointment with you had I received such a threat that you would shave my dog. I brush my dog regularly, and her tail was not matted. The fact is you don't know how to deal with a Bichon's cottony, fine fur. You say you don't brush out a tail you consider matted (it was NOT matted). I didn't ask you to brush it or do anything to it. I said don't touch the tail. Don't trim it at all! But you didn't let it rest at that. Instead, you threw my dog out. I did NOT swear at any employee. After you called me, I came back expecting to pick up my dog without incident, and your husband, whom you had called in while I was on my way, greeted me in a belligerent manner, ordered me to pay for an unfinished grooming, and threatened to call the police. It is not your place to judge customers on how they care for their pets, especially when you don't know what you're talking about. Your last statement that you will not do what the owner wishes if it will harm the pet (based of course on your opinion only), says all one needs to know about you. I told you NOT to trim her tail at all, so I did not ask you to do anything that could harm her. Surely even your confused mind can understand that not touching her tail does no harm.
