I took my two doggos here today, and I could not have been happier with circle city pet care!! They took care of my anxious doggos and let me walk them into the gate to start, which is a huge help for their anxiety. They both got a full grooming and de-shredding and they look absolutely great! They even came back with the absolute cutest bandanas! Plus it barely took even three hours total for them both. I normally wait over 4 anywhere else. They also were very upfront if they could not do anything during the grooming. And after trying a different groomer out that did not inform me of any issues during the appointment, I super appreciated that. If it is your first time here it is good to know it's a house you're pulling into. If I was not informed of this, I think I might have been a little nervous just pulling up, which is why I'm including that in my review. My mom and I were trying to rush and find a groomer as Marley was leaving to stay with her Auntie Bitties house and they were so catering to us considering we were last minute. The guys were friendly, punctual and had great communication skills. They told me that Marley would be ready within a time frame and they kept their word! When I dropped Marley off, they were in love with her and that made me happy knowing she was in good hands. I picked Marley up, and she looked gorgeous and even had a little pink flower on her collar. I do think they should have cheaper prices for smaller dogs. I believe Pets Smart is cheaper to take smaller dogs and Marley cost $40 when she weighs less than 10 pounds. I am so thankful I found this place and I will never go anywhere else to groom my two pups. We have a squirrely Aussie that is pretty high anxiety and they handle her with such grace and patience. When we go to pick her up she is never stressed or on edge, which is a huge improvement from other groomers we've taken her to. We ADORE Circle City Pet care! We first found them after a couple of bad experiences at some other petsitters. We were about to go on a nine day trip and were desperate. We found them online, loved their prices (which are still incredible), sent in our dog atlas information, and he was almost good to go! One thing I really appreciated was that they wanted him to come over for a bit first so we could fill out paperwork, but also so he could meet the other regular dogs. I've heard many pet owners say "my dog is the friendliest," only to be nipped by said dog, so I could understand their logic. Atlas was quickly accepted, thank goodness, and he was dropped off a week later! Throughout his stay the owners would email or text me to let me know he was safe and happy; we have been going ever since. I refuse to take him anywhere else for petcare or grooming. One other thing I love- they are so flexible with schedules. I don't know my work schedule until the week before, so on Fridays they find out when he's coming the next week. We love being able to drop him off every morning and see him every evening, knowing he is able to play and be an energetic dog, and not stuck inside a house all day. And remember those texts and emails? I still get them every week! Even though he leaves every night, they still keep in regular contact. For as long as we live in Indy, atlas won't be going to any other petcare center. Good prices, lots of running space, and most importantly, owners that love all their visitors! read more

We have taken Sadie, our Toy Golden Doodle, to Circle City Pet Care for grooming 3 times. I have been working with Chris and Jose to get the Golden Doodle look I have been wanting. I was trying to get away from a poodle look (not that there is anything wrong with that!) and give her a good teddy bear balance of fur on her head, body, and tail. Today they nailed it. 12/3/2017 update: Since my original review of Circle City, we have boarded our two (for a while, we had three) doodles with Chris and José at least another four times. It has been a great experience every single time. We just returned from an eight-day trip to France, and while we were there, Stanley, one of our pups, had two seizures. Chris called us to tell us what was going on, and his and José's love for our dogs was evident in every communication we had with them. They took care of him and Chris even said he was going to sleep on the floor with Stanley that night to make sure he was okay. They texted us frequently throughout the rest of the trip to let us know he was doing fine, and they even gave him a bath for us because he had urinated on himself during the seizure. There's a reason why we drive 45 minutes from Greenwood to board our dogs with Chris and José! My husband and I just returned from a 10-day trip to Europe, and our two doodles boarded at Circle City for 12 nights while we were away. We had a great experience with Chris and José! We were sort of in a bind, as our original plans for our dogs fell through about a week before we left. I found Circle City on Yelp and gave them a call. They were able to board our pups for the trip without a problem. And their nightly rate was super-reasonable. Our dogs are really spoiled, one of them has a seizure disorder and needs daily medication, and they weigh 65 and 75 pounds. Not small pets! Chris and José immediately made us feel at ease when we dropped our dogs off. It was clear how much they truly love animals, and they were unfazed when one of our (very housebroken) dogs decided to poop and pee in the house right when we got there. We really liked that our dogs were staying in a house instead of a kennel run. They lounged on Chris and José's furniture, went for walks every day, and hung out with the other dogs at the house. Whenever we checked on the dogs during our trip, they responded quickly and even texted us a couple of photos. We picked our dogs up today, and I think they enjoyed their doggie vacation! I would definitely recommend Circle City Pet Care! read more

Not only was he able to get Zoey in rather quickly, he was extremely welcoming and kind to her. Even texting me to give me an update that they had spent extra time loving on her before starting the grooming process. (She's an older Dalmatian and doesn't get out much.) Chris and Jose are practically family. I am TERRIBLE at planning and pretty much leave everything to the last minute... including boarding and grooming. I'm the annoying family member and they are, without a doubt, the dependable awesome family member. Chris and Jose have taken my chihuahua in at the last minute on at least 5 occasions and saved my but since I hadn't made other plans before going out of town. I usually have Jaxson bathed while boarding and he always comes back to me fluffy and smelling great. He sheds a LOT for a little guy and they are great at getting all the loose fur out so he leaves a little less of a mark on black clothes and furniture. I can't say better things about them. I am moving this summer and I hate to think about how I'm going to find pet groomers/boarders like them. 10 stars out of 5! read more

Unless an owner requests for their dog to be crated, dogs roam freely and there's almost always someone home with them.
