They…read moretook care of my anxious doggos and let me walk them into the gate to start, which is a huge help for their anxiety. They both got a full grooming and de-shredding and they look absolutely great! They even came back with the absolute cutest bandanas! Plus it barely took even three hours total for them both. I normally wait over 4 anywhere else. They also were very upfront if they could not do anything during the grooming. And after trying a different groomer out that did not inform me of any issues during the appointment, I super appreciated that. If it is your first time here it is good to know it's a house you're pulling into. If I was not informed of this, I think I might have been a little nervous just pulling up, which is why I'm including that in my review. The only suggestion I would have is a possible sign at the end of the driveway just so it's clear where you are.

Highly recommend Sherri and Northside Pet Services. UPDATED 10/14/18: I cannot recommend Northside Pet Services highly enough. Sherri and her team walked our dogs for over 3 years until I took a job that allowed me to be home with them more. Since then we've stayed in touch and when we needed help this summer she was the first person I reached out to for help. She continues to be super reliable and really cares about her customers. I'd give her more than 5 stars if I could!

Our 7-year-old German Shepherd has been attending Uptown Pup since she was 4 months old. We took…read moreher to several of Uptown's training sessions when she was younger, and she stays there for boarding when we go out of town, in addition to consistent weekly day care. She has regular bath/grooming sessions there as well. As such, we have had the opportunity to get to know most of the Uptown Team throughout the years, from the day care staff to management to trainers, and they have been nothing but caring, supportive, knowledgable and accommodating. She is always clearly happy and excited to see them, no matter which staff member it is, when we drop her off. When our dog was younger we tried out a few other day care businesses to see what was out there, and Uptown Pup was the only place where we felt our dog was cared for and received an individual focus; each Uptown staffer truly cares about the dogs' well-being and wants each one to flourish. Our dog has anxiety issues, particularly with loud noises such as thunderstorms and fireworks, and Uptown has consistently gone above and beyond to help her with this, including taking her aside from her group to relax and hang out during day care. During her boarding stays the staff has also paid extra attention to make sure she was comfortable. She also has a food allergy and a sensitive stomach, and the staff always remains cognizant of this and makes sure she avoids certain types of treats/foods when she's there. These are just a few examples of the care that Uptown takes for clients. For anyone deciding whether to entrust Uptown Pup with their day care, boarding, training or grooming needs, this probably sums it up best: we wouldn't just recommend Uptown Pup - we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else BUT Uptown Pup.

I'm sad to have to leave a not so great review for Uptown Pup. I had high hopes for this doggy…read moredaycare due to the great reviews. But something just wasn't clicking for me. I took my pup in for his first day. Upon entering and saying it was his first day they didn't really ask any questions just had me fill out a form (that I had already filled out online) and asked what time I would pick him up. The other daycare we've tried did an evaluation day and gave some more strict guidelines (drop off at 9 to ensure full staff is there, only took one new puppy a day to encourage socialization, started as 4hrs but would extend to full day depending on how they got along...) I had previously spoken to someone very kind and personable on the phone. This person was obviously not working the front desk when I came in. I dropped him off around 8am and around 11:15am got a call that he wasn't "interested in group play and kept showing stress signs". I found this extremely odd because my puppy is always a big fan of playing. With dogs of ALL sizes. He has gone to another doggy daycare and at the end of a full day he comes out so excited and then sleeps for hours because of how much he plays. I take him to a small group puppy training and he plays with all the other puppies the whole time. When I picked him up they spoke about how he just wanted to play with the trainer and cried when he left the area. I'm not dog training expert but I know that there are ways to help prevent this and manage it rather than just dismissing a 6 month old puppy that is still learning.I then believe instead of leaving him in with the other puppies to continue working on the socialization they just put him in a crate until I was able to pick him up. The vibe within the front desk area when I picked him up just didn't sit right with me. I look forward to taking him back to a daycare that I know he enjoys. Pro's: - Very clean, updated and modern establishment from what I am able to see in the front area. - Great location for those living in Broad Ripple - Good social media presence Con's: - Not willing to work with young puppies still learning - prices are a bit high - Not great on sharing information on their facility with new customers

My husband and I cannot sing Elise's praises enough!…read more We both work long hours, and we were looking for someone to stop by and give our lil' pup some attention + love while we're gone. Enter Walk n' Wag! As soon as you fill out a contact form on the website, Elise schedules a complimentary consultation with you. She takes the time to get to know you, your needs, and your pup! I loved that she asked about our pup's daily routine, inquired about any training we would want her to continue to implement, and wanted to know more about our pup's favorite things. She has a well thought out contract that made me feel safe about letting someone in our home and someone handle our pup without us there. We have Elise spend time with our pup about 3 times a week. They connected immediately, which I attribute 100% to Elise's kind spirit and love for animals. Our home is always left spotless and secured, with the only evidence of her visit being 1) a tired pup and 2) a sweet message on a whiteboard describing the fun adventures she and our pup have been on that day. In terms of scheduling, Walk n' Wag is super flexible. We have a standing appointment, which is effortless for us! However, when needed, we've also been able to cancel our recurring appointments, and add extra ones. Elise has been so flexible, and we are so appreciative. Payment is a breeze- we can connect a bank account or use a card using a secure payment platform, without the awkwardness of leaving cash on the counter or mailing a check. My only regret is not being able to utilize this wonderful company more often- if we could have Elise visit 2x a day, we would! We always recommend her to our family + friends, and any neighbors who have pups as well.

This after I have already confirmed the order earlier in the month and met with our sitter in person. I have been a loyal and happy customer of Fetch's for the last 5 years. That ended today. Shame on you Fetch.

This company is absolutely horrible. I will have to get my locks changed! PLEASE READ!…read more First of all the sitter arrived early for the previsit and I was working from home. She rang the doorbell multiple times while I was on a client call - I had explained in the email that I was not available till after 5 PM. After walking at the sitter through my home and explaining how to take care of my cats, I provided her my passcode to the garage and the passcode to my security system and she accepted a key to my home. The sitter accepted a gift from me upon leaving and stated she would be the permanent sitter to care for my pets if I were to use the service again. She said she would "be sure to give them love." The next day I get an email from the owner stating that the sitter felt "uncomfortable" with watching my pets and not only was she refusing service but the company would not be finding a replacement. I was not given any specifics. I live in downtown Carmel in a good area, by myself. Nothing about my home or neighborhood is threatening. This email came after the sitter accepted a gift and asked me for all my home passcodes. I feel like I'm being discriminated against by this company and or they've taken my information and then some thing with it! Either way I'm THE ONE now feeling extremely uncomfortable and uneasy with the experience of Fetch Pet Care! Also to note, I used the service in 2019 and the sitter gave one of my cats the WRONG food to a cat with a Heath condition. I chose to overlook this and continue with booking services but obviously that should've been my initial red flag to look elsewhere. Before writing this review the owner did not return my emails or calls with my concerns. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for discriminatory treatment. I've asked for the gift and my key back. In the initial email owner states Phyllis stated that my key is in the mail?! In no way should my home key be in the mail! This means it's open to being tampered with now I feel like I have to change my locks! STEER CLEAR of this company - they're incredibly unsafe, unprofessionally ran, dishonest, will treat your key without safekeeping. Your home is your safe pace and they will disrespect and violated that! I also feel that I'm being discriminated against either for my race, gender, who knows!
