We are new to Indianapolis and visited several dog daycares. We feel very fortunate to have landed with Club Canine. The staff has been so cheerful and friendly to us And our Siggy! We are always welcomed the minute we enter! They are very reasonably priced, allowing up to six hours as part of their half-day fee! They are open everyday and have large outdoor and indoor areas for their small and large dogs. Another great feature is the dogs remain uncrated allowing the dogs to decide when they need to lie down wherever they are comfortable. As you enter their facility, there are always cameras where you can check out what your furry friend is doing. When we pick up Siggy he comes home ready to relax. Given that he is two we are grateful he's gotten socialized and exercise. We couldn't be happier with Club Canine! read more

Club Canine continues to be our preferred day care for our GSD. They offer a good variety of half day and full day packages, and single too if you aren't keen on signing up and paying an upfront amount. The space is cleaned thoroughly daily by the staff and each member remembers names of pets and is so friendly with all of the pets. I left my pet for a week of boarding and she came back to well fed and properly taken care of. There was a nice report card at our pick up with observations of the week and how it progressed. My dog and I love this place. She gets to play with her friends and I get some free time to be productive - win/win. We have only used the daycare services but it has been great so far. You can fill out all the registration info including vaccine records online which is great during covid. Then they called me to set up a time to introduce my dog to the environment. On our first day they gave me a tour of the facility which was very clean and well managed. Then they took my dog back to show her the area where the dogs play. It's mostly outside on astroturf. They have areas for big and small dogs along with people back there supervising at all times. They even feed the dogs lunch if you bring it for them. How cool! Just like real daycare :) I also really like that they have half day and full day prices because sometimes I just need a few hours of peace while other times I need the entire day. Ha! They offer grooming and boarding services as well. The owners are great! They know almost all dogs and people by name which is a welcoming feeling every time you walk in the door. read more

I love Club Canine! I was ghosted by 2 previous groomers and then had a horrible time finding another groomer. When I called Club Canine they had openings and it only took a couple of weeks to get an appointment. At Club Canine I drop my 2 dogs off and they're done in a couple of hours - I don't have to leave them all day as I did with other groomers. read more

After taking our pups here for a several months it would be hard for me to believe that anyone would have a bad experience at "the Club." We were initially introduced to club canine by a family member whose pup had been going to daycare for a few years. Knowing how skittish their pup was I assumed that our Kernel - a 6mo maltipoo would have a nice time. I was immediately impressed with the friendly staff and clean interiors - everyone was always fawning over Kernel and after a handful of visits started to know him by name. About 2 months into our visits they started the pup club and Kernel was one of the initial pups to partake in Derra's 6 week course. The class just ended and we have a new pup! It was so convenient and gave him the enrichment he needed with the flexibility to continue to daycare afterwards based on our day. The staff is always very communicative and helpful, staying on top of vaccination records and behavioral concerns. We've now been to daycare, pup club, and boarding and have had positive experiences each time. All team members are dog lovers, often bringing their own dogs to work which instantly makes you feel like your pup is in the right place. Kernel is always happy to come and always well loved. We're so fortunate to have a place like this in our community. read more

Boarding is 15% less than where we've been going and includes all day doggy playgroup day of drop off plus 4 hours the following morning- that's a screaming value! amd Stella gets a blankie and Nylabone to sleep with so I don't even have to pack her bed! I've been here a few times for "Yappy Hour" on Friday nights--like doggie daycare, but the owners stay and watch while the pups socialize. We tried this out in the hopes of eventually using them for daycare during the day. This facility is just ok compared to some other places I've toured. There's a small gravel area behind the main space where dogs can use the restroom. The workers aren't bothered if a dog eliminates in the main play space--they grab a pooper scooper or mop and clean it up without making a big deal about it. There are several tug ropes, balls, and old plastic playground equipment throughout the space, and the owners sit in folding chairs. My reservations come from feeling like this place is a bit disorganized. The communication between the owner and the staff is disjointed--I was emailing about upcoming daycare reservations and was told my dog didn't need a private eval, but to come to Yappy Hour instead ... but then no one really evaluated my dog. One of the employees remarked to me that they didn't like my breed of dog at all and went out of her way to avoid him. I then found out there can be up to 40-50 dogs at a time for daycare, which seemed like way too many. I would probably suggest looking elsewhere for care for your canine BFF. read more

I dropped my 11 week puppy at Club Canine for her first day of doggy daycare yesterday and I am so glad I did! The owner introduced herself to myself and my puppy straight away, told me how my puppy was going to be introduced to all other dogs and where they left them out to relieve themselves. In the middle of the day I received a video of my puppy among the other dogs having a blast! Picking her up at the end of the day was very easy, and I had one sleepy pup. The place is clean and very inviting; you are able to see into a play area through a glass window. It was quieter than I expected given the number of dogs playing. I really enjoyed my and my puppy's experience and hope to bring her back soon. read more

I was recommended to try out club canine through a friend who uses club canine to board his dog. We had a meet and greet scheduled- early in the morning- perhaps it was just a busy time with drop offs of other pets, but I just did not get a great impression immediately. I was simply asked for the records of my dog. My dog had never ever been to a place with so many animals - I knew he was a bit tense and frightened, completely freaked out by this new environment. The trainer took my dog to where all the other dogs were- and within 3 -4 minutes we were out of the facility with a denial. I get that it just wasn't a great fit perhaps- but this was a completely new environment for my pet and it just felt like we were kicked out the door due to perhaps it being a hectic morning. I did not have a good feeling when I left about how quickly this whole thing happened. I told my friend about it that referred me there and he agreed it seemed rather unprofessional and fast. In the end, I suppose it is best to go with my instincts- if that is the way they treated me as a referral, I'm certainly not comfortable leaving my dog there for any period of time. read more

This review is based solely on the doggie daycare. I've been taking our puppy since he was approximately 12 weeks old as they require the first round of shots and it's a great chance at socialization for your puppy. I'm forever grateful due to working at home and trying to watch a puppy and work was proving very difficult! Our pup learned the rules of playing with other dogs and even not to bite his humans, which was so wonderful. He comes home fully exhausted every time and pulls me to the door for his next visit so I know he loves his time there. They will only accept up until six months prior to spay/neuter. He did get some sort of upper respiratory infection and it cleared up in about a week. They let me know they were sterilizing everything. It could happen anywhere you go. I love bringing our pup here and will return after he gets neutered. read more

Tried Club Canine for our 13 week old lab. She loved her half day and slept soundly. Jill and her staff are professional and friendly. From my first experience w the online registration to the follow-up call to schedule the meet and greet. My questions were answered and I never felt that any question was too trivial. When we arrived the tour highlighted the staff, their love of the dogs they care for and again the attention to detail that made me feel at ease leaving our pup. Facility was clean and well designed w lots of spaces for dogs to engage or rest. I highly recommend this if your pup needs a play date or you need time to get things done without a helper. This has been such a great place to take our puppy for daycare! The staff is absolutely wonderful and clearly cares about the dogs as if they were their own. Our dog, Juniper, has become so much more social and confident just from being able to interact with all kinds of dogs a couple of times a week. She always comes home tired and happy. We also loved that we were able to check out the facility and staff by attending a Yappy Hour (held every Friday starting in September) beforehand. Club Canine, Jill, and her staff are the absolute best! We have a very energetic small dog and they care for her as if she were their own. Our pup has learned how to socialize with other dogs, play well with others, and now she doesn't bark at every dog we see out and about--even better, she comes home tuckered out every day.
