Update, the manager did text back after I left a review. However, I am remiss to understand how you can replace hair that was cut, how do you transform, my dog who was given a chihuahua nicked up cut, to a schnauzer cut?Would you weave it in? I don't think that can be fixed, hair cannot be replaced, it must grow back. Thanks but no thanks! read more

I've been taking my dog here since she was a puppy and it's been almost four years now and I've never taken her anywhere else! The staff here is incredibly kind and attentive. They care so much for the dogs they watch and I know I'm leaving mine in good hands every time I drop her off. Literally do not have enough kind words to say about this place, it really is the best! read more

My dogs have been going here for a couple months and love it! The staff are very kind, friendly and you can tell they're passionate about pet care. Initially I was unsure about bringing one dog there because he can be very nervous and timid, but the staff ensured he had a safe and fun introduction to help him build confidence in socializing. I'm so thankful the trainer saw his potential because now he seems more comfortable and polite when interacting with both people and other dogs. I love that they offer fun interactive activities throughout the month and added webcam access as this is a feature I enjoyed from our previous doggy daycare center! read more

This is a great place for my dog to spend the day playing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. He comes home super tired and relaxed.

My dog Arbor loves Puppy Playground because it is non-stop fun for her. I love this place because everyone who works here has been so welcoming, patient, knowledgable, and all around awesome! These folks love dogs and it shows! Arbor starts to get excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. It makes for a super easy drop off, when I know she's happy and about to see her friends (both dogs and humans). If you're thinking about giving this place a try, go for it! The staff will let you know what to expect, and give you feed back during your dogs first visit. Great people, great place! read more

Puppy playground is such a lifesaver! My dog, Georgia, is quite the energetic puppy and lives to play with other dogs. So naturally she has the time of her life at this establishment. The staff is so friendly and always remembers my dog. I recently just left Georgia there for a couple days due to a work retreat and she came home happy and TIRED. It was such a relief to know how that I could leave Georgia at a place that both she and I LOVE. Pro tip-- I heard about puppy playground through a friend and mentioned this on the enrollment form. Both she and I got a free day of doggy daycare for our pups. read more

This place is the best! We've been bringing our dogs here fairly regularly for 6 months now, for daycare and boarding. The dogs will literally drag us to the door to go inside because they love going to daycare here. This never happened at any other daycare we've tried. The staff always remembers my dogs' names. I love that my dogs have access to fresh air all day and can run in and out as they please. I love that the staff actively play with the dogs and are super attentive. We've taken them to daycares with cameras, and can see that the staff doesn't interact much with the dogs. Here I know they do. My dogs are much smaller than the majority of the dogs who attend Puppy Playground, but I believe the staff looks out for them when they play with the big kids. I love that my pups are exposed to dogs of all sizes. Thank you for being such a wonderful facility! read more

I adore the puppy playground. They take such good care of my pup. The staff are so friendly and nice. We moved here over the summer from out-of-state and were worried about finding a doggy daycare that both us and our dog loved as much as our old one...and we are so thankful that we found Puppy Playground! Our dog only goes about once per week, but the staff was already greeting Ollie by name as we walked in on our third visit. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly cares about all of their client's dogs as if they were their own. Ollie knows the route there and starts whining as we pull in to get out of the car, and then bolts as fast as he can to the door to go play. It's great to have no worries about dropping your dog off for the day, and to always pick up an exhausted and happy dog! I work semi-close to their Avon location, and after the initial behavior evaluation you can take your dog to either one which is a great option to have. I do wish they had webcams as some other doggy daycare places do, but I can't imagine ever taking him anywhere else! read more

Hank comes home TIRED. For days sometimes! I wish they would take more photos or videos of your pup so you can know they're having a good time. They have a menu of services but we've only had them bathe Hank. There's really nice staff members and the pricing is pretty average. read more

My dog and family LOVE Puppy Playground! The staff is super friendly to us and especially to our dog. Our dog, Olive, has so much fun going there and always comes home tired. I also like how they keep the facility very clean and keep Olive smelling fresh. I've taken her to a few different daycares and Puppy Playground does the best at keeping her smelling great! They periodically do fun events you can pay a little extra for such as photo shoots which are always amusing to get those photos. Great place for dogs to get some energy out. Our two dogs love it. First day is an evaluation or temperament test to make sure the dogs do well in the environment and get a report card. No appointment needed for daycare which is such a perk, drop them off and they are good to go. We've tried a couple doggy daycares around Indy but this is our favorite! Our german shepherd Hendrix comes here for daycare once a week and boards during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other holidays we go on. We know he loves it there, because as soon as the car turns into the parking lot area he starts whining and will SPRINT to go inside. He doesn't even look back at us when we leave him. The people are so, so friendly and we know he's always in great care. Can't say enough great things! Only wish that they had a webcam system to watch the pups. read more

I can't say enough good things about our experiences here. Our dogs are our children & we really do our due diligence when it comes to their care. They LOVE coming for daycare. They get SO excited when we tell them we're going and they come home tired pups! We recently had an emergency & needed to board them on short notice. We have never boarded a dog in 30 yrs. They did wonderful here. The staff sent us videos & reports, etc. Really great people who have a passion for dogs and it shows. read more

Dogs are pack animals and this place lets them run in a pack! They truly care for your dogs, will tell you stories of their day, and will wash your dog if they get really dirty there, even w/o you paying for the bath. Deb (owner) is great, and all the slightly hippy kids that work there really love their work. $20 a day, $10 half day $30 for overnight boarding (Day of play included) We recently spent $630 on boarding their over our honeymoon, we could have saved hundred by putting him in a place that keeps them in individual runs (probably cuz most boarders are so afraid of fighting, which is reasonable because they don't charge enough to have an attentive staff). However, our puppy came out of almost 3 weeks of "boarding" nearly as happy as when he went in, and a few pounds lighter! read more

This is my favorite doggie daycare in town. It is clean, efficient, and has an outdoor area. What's more, they demand good behavior so your pup comes home ready to follow commands. You can pay for a full day or half. You can stay for boarding, a bath, nails, and more. Even after we haven't been around for several months, they remember us and greet us by name! read more

Our German Short Haired obviously has a lot of energy. This is a great place to bring her during the day while we are at work. It's $12.50 for 6 hours, can't get any cheaper than that. Our dog, Fender, has been going to Puppy Playground since he was a puppy (just over 6 years). I know when I take him whether it's for daycare, bath, nails cut or even boarding that he is well taken care of and the staff cares for him as if he were their own. I definitely get a tired pup after a full day of daycare so sometimes we just do half day which I like as an option too! Thank you Puppy Playground for letting Fender come play! read more

Puppy Playground is as good as it gets. All we have to say is "playground" and Murphy is in the car. The staff are great at caring for our boy and he has the most fun while he is there. Puppy Playground is the best. My dog loves it and the people here are super nice. Totally recommend for day care or boarding. great place!

I can't say enough great things about this place. My 6 month old pup named Roo, had his first day at daycare today and he loved it! The whole process was seamless, they took him for a quick evaluation and then told me he could stay for the day. In the middle of his stay, they sent me a video and also told me how he was doing. This was so perfect for a dog mom who worries too much. When I picked him up they gave me a report card and didn't even make me pay for the half day stay (usually you get 2 hours free the first time. The process to check in and check out is super quick. I wanted a place Roo could go and socialize but also give me the time I need in the evenings, which is hard with a wild puppy on the loose. When I picked him up he wouldn't leave my lap in the car and passed out in my arms, has been asleep ever since. I'd say he had a great time! He will most definitely be back next week! read more

My dogs and I love Puppy Playground! They are greeted by name and the staff all appear to genuinely love dogs. If you have any questions/concerns, the owner is happy to talk to you (in person, on the phone or online). My pups are small, so I was worried they'd be overrun, but I know they are closely watched, get plenty of time outs when overwhelmed, and get individual attention. There's been more than one occasion when I came to pick them up, that one of them was on a lap getting loved on. When I pick them up they are smiling, tired, and always clean. I mention this because I stopped taking them to their previous boarding facility after picking them up on two separate occasions with a lot dried urine in their fur. They're fully potty-trained, so I can't help but believing this happened because they were not taken out enough there. This is not at all the case at Puppy Playground. They always look great when I get them. And if they don't look great going in, I can book a bath for them while they're there. I also like that they require a temperance test, to make sure your and other dogs are comfortable in that setting. It made me much more confident that my little guys could hold their own. All-in-all, I think it's a wonderful place for my pups to burn off energy and socialize. read more

Very happy with the service, I brought my 2year old Belgian Malinois Mix to daycare there for the first time yesterday for his initial evaluation. He passed his evaluation and stayed the rest of the day, upon pick up I got a "report card" detailing how he did that day. I'm a very worried pet parent so I personally really enjoyed that. He came home happy and tired. I also brought him back today and the staff seemed happy he was back, which is a relief. Puppy playground will continue getting my business and I will encourage everyone that wants top quality daycare to reach out to them. read more

Very unhappy with Puppy Playground! Our dog recently stayed there for approximately 10 days. During that time, it appears she was injured - a significant corneal abrasion. We have yet to have been provided any details. Moreover, despite having our numbers and despite us having actually called the day before we picked her up, no-one called us or even mentioned it to us on the phone. The notes indicated only that she appeared to have "a pretty serious eye infection" which had been ongoing for "several days." Additionally, when we called to find out more, we were promised a call back "after investigation" but it's now 5 days later and we have heard nothing. read more

We boarded our pup at Puppy Playground for a long weekend. She clearly loved it as she came home happy and totally worn out. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Note that dogs are REQUIRED to come in for a supervised play for several hours before they can use the facilities. This is due to the commune-style play room. While a tad inconvenient, it made me feel much more comfortable leaving my dog there knowing that the other pups had been screened. read more

My wife and I only want the best for our puppy, and boy did we find the best with Puppy Playground. This place is amazing! There is so much space for Ollie to run and play, and he comes home absolutely exhausted after a day at puppy playground. It is nice and reassuring when we walk in the door and they already recognize him before signing in. Our pup knows exactly where he is before even pulling up to the building, whining in the car running around the back and front seats gearing up for a day of fun and adventure! The only thing I wish they would have is a webcam because my wife loves to watch them play when we are bored at work! It is a nice way to kill some time and see that they are all having fun. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice daycare system. read more

I'm very disappointed my experience did not live up to the other reviews. I'm honestly surprised they do not more negative ones. I will not be taking my dog back. When filling out the evaluation form I selected the time I was going to show up. I chose 7 a.m. because they told me the earlier the better. When I arrived they were not ready for me. They were scrambling to find my enrollment form and ask if I submitted my dog's vaccine papers. I had written out some concerns on the enrollment form and they didn't acknowledge any or ask if I had any questions. I had to pull information out of them and tell them more about my dog since they didn't seem to care to learn. The evaluation was supposed to start out with a couple of dogs in a small room and last for two hours - that wasn't the case. They just let him lose in the play room. Then I was asked if he was going to stay a half day or full day. I was confused because the evaluation wasn't over. I wasn't given a tour of the facilities so I was not aware of the environment my dog was in. All I knew was from what I saw online. Dog or baby, a new customer needs to see the facilities. When I picked him up I had to tell the front desk who Charlie was and when they brought him out they said 'is this him?' They did not tell me how he did or who he played with like they said they would. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but after sending an email, the owner did not respond to any of my concerns, apologize or offer anything - only recommended I take him to their west side location. But I guess having an average of 150 a day; one more dog is just a dog to them. That's how I felt we were treated, nothing special, just another dollar sign. read more

Took my guy in for day care and was extremely happy so I kept going back!! Had a bad experience with another local daycare in the Broad Ripple area who clearly didn't care about my friend, they cared about making money. Puppy Playground is the exact opposite! Friendly service, great prices, but most of all, I could see in my dog's behavior that he had a great time there and was in NO WAY mistreated. Have brought him back several times since and am consistently impressed with the staff and overall happiness I see in my best friend. read more
