I just stopped going on vacations after that. :( Then I found Katy the K9 Keeper! Katy and her husband are so warm and welcoming, and they immediately make you feel like you and your pup are part of their family. The first time Roxy stayed with them, Katy knew I was worried about how she would do. She sent me photos and text updates during my trip--totally unprompted!--so my mind would be at ease and I could enjoy vacation. Roxy has stayed with them several times since then, and she's always SO excited when I pull in the driveway. There are always a few other fun dogs to play with, and they have a great backyard for ZOOMIES! They work with you to coordinate drop-off and pick-up times that are convenient for your schedule, and they have a frequent stay punchcard that you can use to earn free nights. I feel like this setup is 1000x better than the traditional boarding model. Now I can go out of town without worrying or feeling guilty about boarding my dog!

Not sure what happened in the truck but our happy dog is not hiding under the table fearful always. The guy who came to do the grooming seem to have beat him or scared him so much that he is scared always and is just scared of every little noise. If you touch him his first instinct is that someone is hitting him. He hasnt gotton on a bed or couch since the grooming with this person. Our dog loves couches and beds and now he is scared of heights and people. We DO NOT RECOMMEND this business or service. I forgive you guys for everything ! My honest review above and yes this is the right business.

My poor doggie is having a hard time…read more He is a purebred dog, bred to be a potential show dog, so he's beautiful. Long, fluffy coat; glistening eyes that stare straight into your soul; proportionate everything. On every walk, people comment on how beautiful he is. There have been people who are driving by and slam on their brakes, back up and roll down their window, just to tell my doggie how gorgeous he is. Kids love him at the playground. He regularly has birds and squirrels visit him at the front door. Well, he has some allergies, which are causing hot spot to develop on his body, which are causing his fur to fall out. He has two big spots of missing fur that are very noticeable. He looks a mess right now. He also had an ear infection, so he had to have ointment placed in his ears for a week, so his face is all oily. Like I said, a mess. And I could tell he was feeling like a mess, too, because he hasn't been getting any compliments. He's feeling low. So we booked an appointment with Josie at Door-to-Door Dog Grooming to get him cleaned up and hopefully feeling a little better. We booked with Josie specifically because she said on her website that she has experience working with older and medically fragile dogs. My dog is neither, but he has special needs right now because of his hot spots, and needs someone who will gently groom around them. Josie did an amazing job! She arrived right when she said she would, was patient and kind with my dog, and he came out of the mobile van smelling and looking great. He was fluffy and pretty, and his hot spots were tenderly groomed around. It took around two hours from start to finish, but this was a way quicker time than taking him to the brick-and-mortar groomer that he usually sees. It cost a little more than his normal groomer, but his case was special and required more attention to detail, so it makes sense. I would recommend Door-to-Door Dog Grooming to anyone who needs their dog to be groomed, but especially if they have a dog with special requirements.

Ruby is our rambunctious 3-month-old golden retriever and they helped her become much more self-regulating, polite, and confident--it feels like we have a much happier and secure puppy now. Madison worked with her on all the essentials--basic commands, leash manners, and appropriate behavior in new environments--but what really stood out was how thoughtfully they approached real-life situations. They helped her learn how to walk calmly, settle herself, and even confidently handle outings into stores and unfamiliar settings. They clearly understand how to help support a well-adjusted, secure dog. We feel so much more confident as owners, too. Couldn't recommend Bark Tutor Training more highly!

But if you've got new young puppers in your family, this is the place to take them. The trainers and staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and genuinely love all of the doggos so much. They get a very good read on their personalities in the small group setting, and mix and group dogs accordingly in different spaces while also allowing time for breaks and hydration. The space is always super clean and inviting, with big windows in the front to see the main play area. Our dog Oliver is a very assertive player, and they always make sure he gets to play his way -- even if it's with the staff! If I'm honest, our guy has probably aged out of Bark Tutor, but we keep bringing him back because it's his favorite place in the world. He's been to daycare at many other places in and out of town, but nothing gets his bottom wiggling like a day at Bark Tutor.
