This is by far my favorite Pet Supply. Love that it's locally owned and the owner is actually present often. I went in today to find some CBD treats for my 8mo old Pit Puppy with seperation anxiety and the owner was so nice, laid-back, knowledgeable and helpful. I will be going back for one of the unique and high quality collars he sells there (that I haven't seen anywhere else). Even got a shirt just because this place is so good it deserves support. Dogtown did a fabulous job with my two dogs - a maltese and a mini schaunzer. They are very patient and communicate very well about the dogs. I am very impressed with their knowledge of the mini and grooming and it was the best grooming my maltese has ever received. Will be coming back over and over. read more

I am so happy to have Dogtown close to my neighborhood. We have 2 puppies, Bijou and Archie, and they have only been groomed by Scott's staff. Staff always compliment my furbabies, which makes me feel proud. Arch was a mess this past appointment and I was shocked to see how great he looked when he came home. Gorgeous!! I won't bring my dog back. The gal that was working was way over booked and it took way too long to groom my dog. Then once home, he kept rubbing his bottom on the floor which tells me he was groomed way too close. I was also told $38 and then charged $45. read more

I dropped my dog off around 1:45, came back shortly after 3 to pick him up and nobody was there. Waited around for a little bit and still nobody showed up. My dog and another dog were left alone in kennels for who knows how long. Called after I left with my dog to see what was going on, no answer, got a call a few minutes later saying the guy working left and didn't realize how long he'd been gone. read more

Nikki at Dogtown is a phenomenal dog groomer. We have a full sized goldendoodle and she is the only groomer I've found that does a good job with his haircut. She also goes above and beyond by plucking the inside of his ears, checking his anal glands, and doing his teeth. I can't recommend her enough. You can tell that she genuinely loves dogs, too. My dog hete 2 x against my better judgement the owners aunt did the worst groom ever bald spots long spots ridiculous charged my $30 bucks I was told !25 she must add her own tip. Second time I just really needed a groom I was told there was a new groomer oh boy was there I like to call her a tweak ridiculous and oddly enough my dog came home bald I have a shitzu they don't usually bald them as well she forgot to cut her nails this time I was charged $35 bucks wonder that bought horrible groomers and unreliable read more

I took my Springer Spaniel in to get groomed. The guy was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was disappointed to see that he had shaved her all the way down instead of giving her the classic Springer cut (which is what I asked for). He mentioned she had tree sap in her hair and had to shave it. I did not see or feel any tree sap in her hair prior to her visit. She had ver long beautiful feathers on her legs which are now gone. I paid $78 for ear treatment and the grooming service. If I wanted her shaved down I would have done it myself. I will not be returning to Dogtown for grooming services. I may visit again in the future for treats or dog food. read more

Horrified by my experience. Took way too long to get my small dog groomed (over 5 hours). I kept stopping in to check on my dog and they seemed surprised to have someone walk into the shop every time. The place smells like pot and they are ultimately unprofessional. They keep the dogs in kennels for a long time with out water or potty breaks. To dry the dogs, they put the dogs in the kennel with a dryer attached to the door while the dog yelps and cries. They did apologize for how long it took and they claimed that there is usually two groomers but one had to switch around her days... so on and so forth. After reading previous reviews, it seems excuses are standard practice for this business. They claimed only 1/5 of their business is grooming, but that's what all the reviews are about... and the only business I saw...Hmm....Something is not right. I almost reported them but decided on a yelp review instead. Surprised to read Scott's response to Chuy M, stating that they have a "zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy that is strictly enforced", because that is clearly not the case. read more

I took my German Shepherd, Chief to Dogtown for a grooming. Our regular groomer charges us $85 for the works and I can always tell they're mean to him. He HATES going there. When we were in Spokane for a visit, I decided to give Dogtown a try and I'm so happy I did. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but Chief wasn't all freaked out when I went to pick him up AND it was LESS THAN HALF the price I usually pay. He smelled great and was happy! I also have a little Chihuahua that makes it nearly impossible to clip his nails. The groomer at Dogtown took care of him, no problem! They are also knowledgeable about dog food and other items. I spent over $70 at Costco for the flea and tick medicine and it was terrible! My dog still had a problem with fleas and his skin was inflamed. Dogtown sold me some stuff for $25 that smelled way better and took care of the problem immediately. I never had to do the third treatment, as the fleas were GONE. All in all, Dogtown is a great local business. I wish they were on Mercer Island. read more
