He's usually a very chill dog but as he's gotten older he's become a little more fidgety especially when talking him to new places. When I came to pick him up, the lady at the front desk told me that he had tried to bite the groomer which I was so surprised by because I had never heard of him doing that before over many years of taking him to many different groomers. When we got home, I noticed he was shaking his head a lot but he's usually dramatic after getting a big haircut (somewhat like he's embarrassed by his new look haha) so I thought nothing of it. He has big floppy ears and a few days later I check under it and he has a huge scab. So he was shaking his head in discomfort the whole time because his ear had been cut! I understand that mistakes happen and he's an old dog with a new groomer but the fact that they hid this from me instead of even acknowledging it much less apologizing is extremely disappointing. Besides this, they honestly did a great job with the haircut so I would've come back but covering up injuring my dog is unacceptable.

Had a recent experience when my dog was there who stopped eating. When they couldn't reach me (I was in Asia) they proactively got him to a vet to check it out. He is fine, but appreciated them taking the bull by the horns in the interest of my dog's health. Wayne (Manager) and Dan (Asst. Manager) have been very helpful and responsive.

My dog won't let us walk down this street without begging to go in Urban Pooch. On a recent walk as a pulled him along from the from of the door, a staff member came outside and down the sidewalk just to give him a treat. It was so sweet and thoughtful! On a walk a few days later, we decided to stop in. The store front is very clean and well organized. Compared to other boutique pet shops, the prices are good! We left with a bulley stick for my dog, plus he got lots of treats + loved on by a bunch of the staff there. You can tell the love and care for animals is extremely genuine.

The app they use shows where they walked, they send photos, and even tell you when they go to the bathroom. Truly felt at ease having them walk Foxy. The woman who came to get Winnie was really friendly. I sent her a text with what I wanted and they whisked Winnie away. 3ish hours later she was ready for pickup. We LOVE her haircut! They did such a good job and followed the picture I wanted exactly. She's so soft and still smells so good! Love how they trimmed the hair between her paws and around her eyes. It sounds like she was a little bit of a difficult first time customer (she's never been groomed before), but they didn't charge us an extra fee which we appreciated. Apparently she screamed a lot :( we thought she'd love the doggy spa! We'll be back the next time Winnie needs groomed - we love Pet a Cure!

My dog had also started licking the area more than usual. Additionally, there was confusion at pickup and they initially brought out the wrong dog. Disappointed, as this hasn't been an issue for my dog after prior grooms.
