Zero stars. They lost my dog and didn't care at all. They lied to us about how they lost her and took 3 days to talk to us in person or make an effort. We never got her back. They hike illegally off leash in dangerous spots near the road and with 6+ dogs and 1 human ratio at a time... not sure anyone can safely manage that. They don't have an active business licensee and are poorly trained. After everything their insurance called to offer $4000ish for the price of it all as if you could add a value to the loss of your family member. Do not trust them and leave your fur baby in the wrong hands. Fuck them and their business model. They are cowards, not dog lovers, and care only about their money. ATTN ALL PET OWNERS WHO USE PET SITTING SERVICES: STAY AWAY FROM DOGGIE AU PAIR! I recently returned from a trip after hiring them to look in on my cat for one week. I used them in the past and never will again! I left out 14 cans of cat food for my 7 day trip, with the instructions to feed 2 cans per visit and it was understood that her litter box would be cleaned out daily. Upon arrival home, her litter box must not have been cleaned in days, and there were at least 7 cans of cat food left out. I'm writing this after requesting my keys back and having paid the servse and informing them that I will under no circumstances use them again and received nothing but unprofessionalism in response. My furbabie was not taken care of, and it showed when I came home in her behavior, I'd hate for anyone else to go through this. read more

When our little pup Penny first went for her excursions she had come back with some ticks, something us city people never had to deal with before heading out to the burbs, Rebecca was amazing and recommended different products to use and kept Penny on a leash until she was fully repellent. They truly care and listen to your needs and requests. Our dog who was never a swimmer, now enjoys going into the water and comes home beyond exhausted which is great. I can't believe I'm the first to review DAP! Our dog, Duke, has been getting walked 2-3 times a week for over a year and a half and we honestly couldn't be happier. For $25 a day, Dukey gets picked up, plays at various local parks for an hour and then dropped off. Nemo seems to have a great time on his group walks and has even been to a few places we haven't taken him to yet, lucky dog! We absolutely love Doggie Au Pair! They take such great care of our beloved but very active dog. Each person who has walked him has been wonderful. We have moved but stayed with DAP so have had a couple of different dog walkers and Chester has loved them all. In fact, I have run into them while walking Chester at the park and he tries to leave with them, rather than stay with me - to see him greet the dog walkers so happily has reassured me that we have the right people taking care of our dog. In addition, the costs are reasonable for a one hour, off-leash walk and Lorraine is unbelievably flexible when I need to change the schedule. We couldn't be happier with Doggie Au Pair! Lorraine and her team are extremely knowledgeable, reliable, super friendly and just so easy to work with. After doing some initial scouting for dog walking services in our area, we had an introduction meeting with Lorraine and hired her on the spot. She was so attentive and considerate of our needs and took lengthy notes on our puppy and our family dynamics in order to put together the best plan for us. She even sends a photo text occasionally of our pup enjoying his walk which totally just makes our day! Our usual walker, Kemp (part of the DAP team), is fantastic! He always leaves a note for us about the visit and what our pup got to do, etc. We love it! We have a lot of construction happening on our street which makes it difficult to get in and out sometimes but Kemp goes with the flow and makes a judgment for what is best for our pup that day given the circumstances.
