Greg and team have been extremely accommodating to all our needs. Aside from being professional, trustworthy and extremely easy to work with our pup loves his sitter/walkers. They've helped out when we have been out of town. And now that I'm 8months pregnant it's difficult to walk our 70lbs Simba. So his daily walks are anticipated by him and me. He's coming back from his walks happy and exhausted which is exactly what we need, since he is a big ball of energy and anxiety. Louise and I are so grateful for this group! As a single pawrent, I need help on the days that I am gone for long shifts. La, Nalix, and Kris care for Louise like she is their own. They are very communicative. The software that Woofit uses is very intuitive. I only wish woofit traveled to more towns! Dreading the day I need to move out of their work zone :(. I hate to leave a negative review, but I relied on Yelp reviews when I hired Woof-It, and despite the 5-star rating, I had a terrible experience. We hired Woof-It to perform two walks per week for our small dog. During the 4th or 5th visit, the dog walker lost our dog. We left work immediately and returned home and were able to quickly find our missing dog. She was lost for about 2 hours, but it was enough to terrify us. Since so much trust goes in to hiring a dog walker, we terminated service immediately. From what I have read of Woof-It on Yelp and other sites, I am fairly certain this was an isolated experience. And with each neighborhood being served by different walkers, its very likely that others will have a great experience with Woof-It. However, my experience was so troubling that I must stress caution and diligence when starting service with this company. read more

Woof-it was awesome for my puppy; they would come twice a day while he was young! He's stayed social with other dogs as he's gotten older because he gets to go with a couple of other dogs when his walker, Crystal, takes him on walks or trips to the park. One of the best things about woof-it is that they are fantastic with scheduling. My work schedule can vary sometimes and Alexis expertly handles my requested scheduling changes. I was worried about getting a puppy (and also about having an energetic young dog) because my husband and I work full-time; I'm so grateful to have found woof-it! read more

Woof it is truly amazing and I feel so lucky to have found them. They started walking our dogs a few years ago. One of our dogs can be tricky w other dogs and people and woof it is so accommodating to our needs with him, always making sure to send only the walkers they are sure he will be comfortable with who already know him well. They have a great team and are great with communications and I never ever worry about the dogs when I know woof it is coming. We just had our first kid and Alexis worked with me to sort out a schedule of visits over the course of 48 hrs that gave me complete peace of mind while we were away from home for delivery. When we first adopted our dog Mugsy, we called Greg at Woof It, on a recommendation from a good friend in West Roxbury. Man are we happy we did that. We never worry about Mugsy because we know that the staff at Woof It really are super responsible and kind. They are always around in a pinch as well, if you need them. They take in our packages, which is totally not necessary, but really awesome :) We love the notes that we get after every visit, letting us know which other dogs he was playing with, what they did, if Mugsy seemed tired, or if he was super happy, etc. Mugsy get's walks from the Woof It staff, 3 days a week. If we happen to be going away on a weekend, we always have Woof It take care of him. A little story: Nick and I decided we would take a two week trip to Africa. We talked to Greg about our plans, and Woof It was there to look after Mugs while we were gone. We got email updates on how he was doing. When our two week trip abroad turned into a 3 week trip, due to a crazy volcano blocking our way home, Greg told us not to worry, that they would continue to look after Mugs until he heard from us. What a relief to us to know that they were there to look out for him while we were gone. read more

Woof it saved the day! My husband and I were trying to find a dog sitting on a mobile app, and a day before a wedding we were attending? The sitter bailed. I went on yelp, remembering I bookmarked Woof It because it was located in Dedham. I filled out a form,and was called very quickly. I was informed that Bill was available to walk our pup twice and feed him. Bill met with us the morning of the wedding. Asked questions, let our puppy play around a little, and grabbed the keys. We got home to a note from Bill, saying that he walked very well and that everything went great. The prices were about the same as the app we were using. It made us feel a little better that the walker was local too. We highly recommend Woof It, and can hopefully use then again when we need someone to watch over our dog. read more

4.5 stars. Gregory and his staff are great. He has been pet sitting our dog and cat when we travel for the last two years. The staff is responsible, dependable, and honest. We never worry leaving our pets at home and under their care. His prices were reasonable and for the same cost of boarding our dog we could have the dog and cat cared for, as well as the house checked on. They took good care of our pets and the house, picking up the mail/packages. The pets really like Gregory and his staff and find it much more comfortable (and less stressful to stay at home). I like that if I emailed Gregory after a few months to schedule another visit he remembers our pets and their personalities and quirks. Our pets are special needs; the dog can be difficult and they were very diligent and taking care of him and keeping us informed of any issues. They leave a few notes with every visit with how the pets are doing, which we enjoyed reading when we get back home. We did one incident with a new hire and Gregory promptly and professionally took care of it and has never been an issue since. The longest we have used their service is during a long two and a half weeks Christmas trip and they kept us updated with how the pets, house, and everything else is doing, even with a few big snow dumps making getting around difficult. I would recommend anybody that is looking for a dog walker and/or pet sitter in the area he serves to send Gregory an email. We are going to miss him and his service when we leave Boston. read more

Woof It Petcare is the best! We've had our Mark look after our puppies since late 2014 and he's seen my 2 boys grow up. Mark pays lots of attention to our dogs and always leaves me a note. If my boys had to have eyedrops or pills, Mark is always fine with administering it. We will miss Mark a lot as we are moving to a town where they haven't extended their services. Greg has always answered my calls and it is just so comforting to know that you can reach them when you need to. Alexis is always responsive on emails and when Mark was on vacation we had 2 other pet carer, Erica and Will and they are super fantastic also. I'm really glad our dogs have had such good petcare and in past 2 years and am hoping they will expand into Natick so I can get them back to care for the boys!! Thank You Woof-It Petcare Team! Love, love, love this company. Had a less-than-stellar experience with another dog walker who was great with our dog, but not entirely reliable nor professional. I filled out the online form for Woof-It and Greg called me the same day, I believe, to talk about my needs. We don't need a dog walker on a regular basis, but currently I'm in an air cast. So far we've had Alexis come twice because my partner's been out-of-town so my dog was getting no walks during that time. Alexis came to my house to meet me and my dog initially. For the two scheduled times we had, she came on time, she was great w/ my dog, I trusted her in my house, she seemed to really tire out my dog, which is great news, and she even drove him (with my permission) to Peter's Hill, which to me was going above-and-beyond as my dog loves the Arboretum and car rides. My dog is a 70-pound pit bull who does jump occasionally so I was really happy that Alexis has her own big dogs and has lots of experiences with all kinds of dogs. We signed up with Woof It in August 2015 when I realized I'd be away on business for 5 days leaving our dog to suffer 3 consecutive days of 10+ hours alone while my husband was out of the house for work. We were able to meet our neighborhood's designated walker, Mark, and some of the other dogs he walks in time to get a few walks in before my trip. Our lab LOVES Mark and his new dog buddies. We use the service intermittently, but they're very friendly and responsive. We often book and/or cancel on short notice. I need to remember that they do pet-sitting as well, as we got in a pinch with holiday travel last year. It would've been much easier to have Woof it look in on things for us. read more

I have mixed feelings about Woof-It, and I've halted on writing a review for a while but I felt that I should. I hired this group for a few different vacations, one of which was my wedding. I always booked my time needed based on dates, not on the name of the weekdays or anything, but during my wedding I had an incident where the pet sitter did not show up for one out of two weekends. It happened at the time that my mother (who was going to watch them for a couple of weekdays) misunderstood when she was supposed to watch them and showed up on the second weekend that Woof-It missed. This was the only way we knew that the pet sitter did not show up for that weekend. I would just absolutely triple-check that they understand which dates they are supposed to show up, and ask that they provide some kind of evidence for showing up, because if my parent hadn't accidentally been at the house our pets would have gone without food or water for three days, which is really upsetting. I didn't have a problem any of the other times and their pricing is decent, but I wouldn't use them again because I am worried after this incident. read more

My husband I expanded our little family unit in December when we got our Shar Pei puppy. After an intimidating meeting with another dog walker in the area, we called Woof It.. I cannot tell you how grateful for and happy with Woof It we are, especially Tom. Tom started walking Jameson when he was just barely 8 weeks old. He has been amazing! Being the nervous new dog parents, Tom put our minds at ease sending us a photo during the day and giving us a report out on how the puppy did on his walks. We couldn't be more pleased with their services. Everyone is extremely pleasant and easy to work with. Even during this brutal winter, they have been prompt in keeping us informed. My fiance and I literally called Woof It a day before we needed a pet sitter for our two cats and they were still able to have Mark come out everyday for an entire week to, as Mark said, "feed them, scoop them, and love them." Woof It and Mark, did an amazing job. I really loved that everyday we got a text with pictures of our two little ones. The communication was great, and if I ever had any questions I knew I could simply text him and he'd promptly reply. As I mentioned we have two cats a little over a year old, and our female cat is a bit shy and doesn't do very well with strangers; she tends to hide under the bed until they leave. I was so surprised when Mark sent a picture of her being pet while lying in her favorite spot! They are great with pets and at a very reasonable price. Overall I loved Woof It, particularly Mark, and would definitely use their services again in the future. read more

I've used Woof It several times for dog sitting services. Greg and his staff are wonderful! My hyperactive lab mix, Harper, is skittish and shy with strangers. We've used various services (daily dog walks, longer-term daily care, one off pee breaks) and have had a good overall experience with Woof It. It's a great and convenient solution for people who may work in the city during the day or may be out of town for short periods from time to time. We live in one of the apartments beside Legacy Place, Jefferson at Dedham Station, and as a dog friendly community, we have found this to be the most affordable and dependable option.
