We started with Wagging Tails as soon as we brought our puppy home. Wagging Tails was flexible and fit us in their schedule last minute for a meet and greet during the holiday season to ensure we would have someone to feed our puppy lunch and give her breaks during the day while we were at work. Our dog has loved all the dog walkers and they always leave a nice message about their visit! As soon as she was vaccinated she started alternating with walks and doggie daycare. We've been using Wagging Tail for over a year our Vizsla pup and have been very happy with Julie and her team. They utilize an app to schedule pick up/drop off which is an easy an efficient form of communication. The beauty of the app is the real time push notification component that notifies you when pick up and drop off has occurred. Whenever our pup comes home, he's calm, relaxed, and it's evident he's spent the day running around and playing with other dogs. Always on schedule, almost always accommodating to changes in our schedules when they could, and more recently shifted into daily walks. My dog is my life, and he's with me 24/7. He's quite quirky and very sensitive so on the rare occasion that I have to go away without him, I am insanely careful about who I leave him with. This year, I had committed to plans out of town for Thanksgiving and was very stressed about leaving him behind, as all of my go-to sitters were going to be out of town as well. The fur-kid spent several days with Julie and her fur family, and I felt comfortable that he was in safe hands. Having three of her own fur children, she made me feel confident that she could handle any situation that might arise. She sent photo updates and he looked to be having a great time. He was even included as part of the family for the Thanksgiving festivities! By the time I picked him up, he was happily exhausted and played out, and had bonded with Franklin, Abby, and Ruby. Julie and her team have walked our dog for over a year now. Julie is a pleasure to work with, and follows up to confirm plans. Julie and one of her walker saved our dog's life when he had a seizure out of the blue. They raced him to Tufts in Walpole while contacting us. Julie waited there for us to arrive from work in Boston. Wagging Tail has taken good care of our dog, including making sure he gets his anti-seizure medicine at the right time. Well over a year ago I decided to try another day care for my then, 1 year old black lab. Julie was very nice and promptly set up a trial visit for us. My pup seemed scared initially, as the facility was a barn with a fairly small fenced in area surrounded by cow pasture. The inside was like an old concrete basement, again fairly small and not very appealing...rather dirty. Nonetheless, my pup reportedly had fun for a few hours there and I received a good report from Julie. I used their pick up/ drop off service for about a month. The scheduling was not very reassuring as it was via text, with sometimes slow or delayed responses...and usually just a "sure" for confirmation. In the short time I used the half day service, my dog came home limping pretty severely on 2 occasions...with 2 vet visits following. No explanation was given as to how and why other than maybe his paws were irritated from the gravel outside. Not the case. Then, my biggest worry came true when they "Forgot" to pick up my pup as scheduled and my sweet boy spent 7 hours alone at home! Yes, I got an apology from Julie, but that was all. They charged me for every visit and made no attempt to give me any break on the fees for this mistake. I collected my key the next day. I would not recommend this service as they are unreliable, disorganized, and do not pay attention to my dog. read more
