What a vibe. Honestly, they have great outdoor seating that's secluded and private, but at the same time still feels inviting. As for the inside, there's a nice bar and plenty of other seating available. You order at the front and they bring the food right to you! The service itself is whatever, and so is the beer selection, but when it comes to the food, I don't think you'll ever be disappointed.

There's street parking or a structure parking to get here. You'll have to walk down an alley a bit and it'll be on the left. They have loads of indoor and outdoor seating. It's very chill and casual. A good place to watch some sports. The staff are are nice and lax. You'll order first then get a number for the staff to bring your food. The register is down some stairs but there's a mini elevator for those in a wheelchair. The restroom is a bit grungy but manageable. I got the holy aioli burger. It was tasty, with a good amount of pink in the patty. I do enjoy the Hawaiian rolls. The fries are great, they have that restaurant seasoning coating. I'd return to try more of the menu. They have cocktails that look interesting.

Dog Haus was a welcome reprieve to the abundance of Los Angeles Asian-Fusion clusters. I love me some Asian fusion, but I was craving something substantially different. Thank you, Yelp, for directing me here! My experience at Dog Haus was nothing short of marvelous. They have plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, and a menu that caters to almost any diet, or plant vs. meat preference. All of us, including my super picky 7-year-old, managed to order something we loved. Our Picks: * Sooo Veggie (short vegan sausage) * Chili Cheese Tots * Sweet Potato Fries * Old Town (beef hot dog) * Downtown (beef hot dog) * Garlic Aioli & Miso Ranch dipping sauces We also snagged a Jenga game to play at our table while watching sports stream on the hanging flat screens. The food was fantastic! Service was stellar! We were so happy to have found this spot. If only they were in Las Vegas too!

Kind of off the beaten path. But was able to find. There's a structure on Raymond or you can look for street parking. We found street parking off of arroyo? Bartender was nice and helpful. Plenty of seats inside and outside with sports games being played on TVs. Food was hot n fresh and didn't take too much time. It was pretty clean for a bar. We ate two Ringer burgers, chili cheese tots, and fries. Was plenty for 2 people. We'd come back again.

The Ringer Burger and cheeseburger were tasty. The Impossible slider was better than expected, especially with the onion inside. The fries were crispy, and the tots were just as enjoyable. I'd come back for sure. Staffs are so nice, only no parking in front of the restaurant. I will come back.

This was our first time at this Biergarten. Finding the entrance was a little weird since the address is on Green St., but as we turned the corner into a wide walkway (probably looking a bit confused) a guy sitting at the patio waved at us and pointed at the entrance. There's one register at the end of the counter on the right side as you walk in. The team member who took our order was welcoming and friendly. There were several customers at the bar enjoying the football games on multiple screens. We chose a corner table towards the back. Our order came out impressively fast and accurate. We didn't need to ask for anything else. The BABBs (Chachi, Pastrami) and the Southwest Tots were excellent -- the best ones we've had in comparison to the other locations we've visited so far. The place was very clean and organized. Most of the customers seemed to be there for drinks and to watch sports. There were a couple moments of loud cheers, but nothing obnoxious. There are several tables at the large outdoor space where it's quieter. Overall, a really nice experience. There's more than enough parking in the area. We chose a public garage nearby at the corner of Raymond and Green -- $1 for the first 2 hours then $2 for the next hour.

What We Ordered: -Cowboy $10.99 -Old Town $10.99 -Hot Dog Sliders Kids Meal $10.99 -Chili Cheese Tots $6.99 I've been wanting to visit Dog Haus Biergarten for a while now, and we finally went to see what all the fuss was about! I signed up for email notifications a while back and am constantly reminded of Dog Haus, especially when I see those enticing new menu items. This is their second location, which opened in 2011, and they're now a national chain with locations in 10 different states. I ordered the Old Town dog, and it was fantastic! It had a nice kick to it, and I love that all their dogs come on King's Hawaiian rolls. While it might seem pricey to some to pay over $10 for a dog, considering most chili cheese dogs cost $7-$8, I think a fancy, dressed-up dog for $11 is worth it. We also tried the Chili Cheese Tots, which were a good take on chili cheese fries, although the portion size was a bit small for the price. The dipping sauces were amazing and took the tots to the next level! My wife enjoyed the Cowboy dog, and our son loved the kid's meal, especially the fries. I'd love to try some of their burgers and chicken sandwiches next time. We will definitely be back, and we really want to try their original location next!

One of my favorite spots. All location's are consistent and great. Whenever I want some tater tots and some hot dogs I go here. Very tasty and the combinations just work.

Fries were overcooked and had lots of white spots on them.. probably from being frozen too long?
    Joy G.

Food can be a lot better, I ordered a kid's meal just cuz I was craving some fries and they ended up looking like this. Couldn't eat any of them and the corn dog was also over fried.

Yum! Very casual spot with a unique menu of burgers, hot dogs and burritos. You order at the bar, but food came out insanely fast. The smash burger on the kings Hawaiian was really yummy! Also got the tater tots as a side (not pictured) which were perfectly done. Good spot for a fast casual experience!

This place is great, always consistent with the dogs. Came here on a Wednesday for the free dogs with a short wait time. With over 20 different beers and a long tables for large groups, this is a great spot to hangout with delicious hot dogs and beers. This location also has a host of board games free to play, making your hangout with a group even better. What better way to enjoy a nice summer day than playing board games and drinking cold brews. I appreciate the Dog Haus brand for always delivering year after year the free hot dogs on national hot dog day. This is why I will be a repeat customer. Thank you Dog Haus.

Reviewing a takeout order we placed on a Saturday afternoon. There was an event at the Pasadena convention center and we wanted a quick lunch nearby and so we decided to eat here. I haven't been to Dog Haus but seen them all over SGV. The place is bar like, you have to order the food at the bar station. Lots of decorations that show beer and other underground like aesthetics. They had games around and seating for groups too. Once we placed our order it only took about 10-15 minutes. We walked back to the convention center to eat. We ordered the Soo Cali dog, impossible burrito, kids tender meal, onion rings, and a soda. The Cali dog was good and messy, I don't think it's enough food for the price but it had a great flavor! I had to use a knife and fork because the breading (which were 3 rolls) started to fall apart and spill everything. Impossible burger was big, but again, it was a lot of eggs and other fillings and for the price I wish it had more of the impossible "protein". Not as messy as the dog. The onion rings were good, but I counted only 7 rings. The sauce it came with was delicious though. Kids tender meal was very good, but unfortunately the breading had a lot of black ground pepper so my kid didn't like it. I had to take the breading off and then he'll eat it. But he ate a lot of the fries. Overall, good place for a quick bite, but I wasn't really full afterwards so might just be a nice snack if we want to come again.

First off, I have to praise 1933 group because I have loved every single bar they have revitalized and this one is no different. In keeping with their MO, The Lucky Tiki is a speakeasy with a vintage vibe. I won't give away how to get in but let's just say, it's near the front of Highland Park Bowl. My husband and I didn't have a reservation, but we were able to put our name in and got seated about an hour or so later. I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! It's just floor to ceiling decorated with everything tiki. So many fun details and even interactive elements that turn on when a particular drink was ordered. That was probably my favorite part honestly. We ordered the Tiki Diablo, which is a large tiki drink with a flaming volcano. And yes it does have an interactive element. It was really good. Very fruity and strong, but not overly so. Service was excellent. Our waitress was on it and even waited to make sure my husband was back from the bathroom before lighting our drink on fire. We didn't try any food this time, but a lot of people were ordering the Hawaiian pizza. Do with that what you may. Will definitely be back ti try more drinks and food. I'm a second-generation Irish-American from New York, and St. Patrick's Day has always meant something in my family. Growing up it was about heritage, family, and a little joy. Now that I have two daughters of my own -- very Irish-looking girls who are proud of their roots -- I wanted them to experience some of that same Irish pub spirit. So on St. Patrick's Day 2025, I took them to Griffin's of Kinsale in South Pasadena. They were so excited to be there -- the decorations, the music, the feeling of a real Irish pub. For a moment I thought, this is going to be a great memory for them. We came early because it was a school night. The restaurant was busy -- which is understandable on St. Patrick's Day. I ordered three salmon dinners for my daughters and myself. The bill came to about $150. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Over an hour and a half. During that entire time: * No one warned us the kitchen was backed up when we ordered. * No one checked on our table. * No updates. * No communication at all. Had someone simply said "Just so you know, food may take an hour or more tonight," I could have made a different decision -- especially with two kids who had school the next morning. Instead we sat downstairs watching the clock while the evening disappeared. By the end of the night my daughters -- who had been so excited walking in -- were tired, hungry, and miserable. When I asked to speak with a manager, no one came. No explanation. No apology. Restaurants get slammed on holidays. Kitchens fall behind. That happens. But ignoring a table for 90 minutes -- especially a family with children -- isn't a busy night. It's bad management. What should have been a fun St. Patrick's Day memory for my daughters turned into a long, uncomfortable evening where we felt completely invisible. For a place that trades so heavily on Irish identity and hospitality, this was about as far from hospitality as you can get. Save your $150 and celebrate St. Patrick's Day somewhere that actually wants you there. And if management would like to explain how a family ends up waiting 90 minutes with no communication, I'd genuinely be interested to hear it.

Our drink order consisted of Don't Be a Prick, Moon Rocks, & Purple Peter Eater. Lou was kind enough to create a lovely mocktail for Ms. Hannah. The Purple Peter Eater is a picturesque drink that combines rum with Ube beer and gets its pretty hue from Ube Syrup. The Moon Rocks had a bit of a kick and is a tad on the sweet side. I really enjoyed the Don't Be a Prick, which was a tasty combo of Tequila, Prickly Pear Syrup, & Lime garnished with blueberries. Grandma's Purse, which features miso-infused Suntory, butterscotch, and 5 spice, was surprisingly savory and not sweet. On the other hand, Wabbit Season, which features carrot, cumin and celery among its ingredients, was surprisingly sweet. Go figure. I enjoyed the novelty of those drinks but I probably would not get them again. I would be interested in trying out some of their other cocktails though.

Dark, forest green everywhere with velvet furniture and greenery hanging down from the ceiling. It's very elegant and chic. My friend and I like to go for their special burger happy hour. We get Impossible burgers and tater tots and just gab for like an hour. Their smash-burgers are so delicious, yum! My husband and I recently tried their grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, too, which we really enjoyed. Very filling. Their cocktail program has some unique flavors, which isn't always my thing. But everything I've had has been outstanding, even their mocktails. I really liked one of the new ones I had recently, which was called something like Grandma's House? I can't remember, but it was spiced and had a star anise as garnish. A bit on the pricier side, but probably because they use premium ingredients and such unique flavors combos. Love the neighborhood bar vibe. It's a welcoming little oasis in the urban jungle of Highland Park.

Had a dinner reservation with some girlfriends celebrating two of their birthdays. The restaurant itself isn't too big but it does a pack a nice punch. Cute patio out front that takes some of the sidewalks and streets. Plenty of heat lamps which helped with the chilly nights. We got seated at one of the tables on the patios which was nice. Didn't really utilize inside area except for the restroom which it's quite cute in there. The rooms were pretty well decorated and executed. Nice bar area too. Like mentioned, we got seated on the patio and the heat lamps were great. Down to the menus, it's quite limited on dishes. Seemed like there were more shared plates versus the entrees. Drinks, it was fairly decent with their cocktails and wine. Service at the beginning was great. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We didn't order right away as we were still waiting for the last one to show. But did start off with some drinks. It didn't take that long for the first round which was nice. Food wise, the shared plate was a mixture of everything. Some of the olives, which is exactly what it is. The Belgian fries, nice thick cut fries with shredded pecorino cheese and a nice aioli sauce. We ended up getting a second order of it. The albacore tuna crudo was a hit which was really tasty. Chili ginger relish, mint and shallot, can't go wrong with that. Lastly the meatballs, tasty and very great for sharing. Entrees, the pan seared sea bass which I loved. Portion is pretty tiny which also seemed like they were a shared plate. Almost tapas styled. Nice chimichurri sauce and a side salad. The chicken Milanese also with a side salad of arugula. Simple dish but quite tasty. One of the salads that was somewhat hyped up by the waitress but it was just a salad. Decent but nothing major to rave about...lol... also the confit oyster mushrooms was major hit. Something that simple but quite tasty. And lastly the pan con tomate, rustic sourdough with tomatoes and burrata. Tasty as well. Overall the meal was good. From there, the second round of drinks did take a long time to arrive and with then plates that we shared, trying to get someone to clear the plates was another thing. Took a long for someone to clear the table before more items came. Even when the entrees came, all the empty starter plates were still there. And if someone did clear the plates, some was still left on the table. Finishing off the night, we did have the dessert which we tried all three. As it was two of our girlfriends birthday, they brought out a little bubbly for us to celebrate with the dessert. That was quite sweet and nice. Honestly opinion with the dessert, they were just ok. Nothing major to rave about. We tried all three on the menu and they were just ok. Overall, the food was great. Service was nice and the staffs were all very friendly. It did take a while for plates to get cleared from the table and second round did take a while, but it was manageable. It was a sweet gesture with the bubbly with the dessert which was greatly appreciated. The place is nice and great for catching up. Menu is limited and portions are quite small. You would have to get a good amount for sharing. Entrees, depending on what you order is small as well. But we enjoyed ourself.

They serve lukewarm water and the a/c was on but was not on ..if u catch my drift. The front hostess was also phenomenal, I had reservation for outdoor seating but since she saw that the sun was like glaring, she asked if I wanted to change to inside. Very obliging and accommodating. Food: 5 stars, surprisingly good, right amount for us. I was full but I can see where other reviewers say portions are small. It's small if u're a heavy eater. But the quality is definitely there. Ambiance: trendy, high energy, casual vibes where u can lounge and have a beer while munching on fries...or u can choose to be poshy and have a glass of wine with a salad and Chilean sea bass. It's flexible to accommodate both as there are different sections. Parking: street metered 1 hour parking. 3 stars, not their fault but 1 hour is simply not enough. It can get super busy and the server can be pulled left and right, so cut them some slack during super busy hours. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended .

Because this is a hotel bar since it's situated in The Langham 5-star luxury hotel, the drinks are expensive like $25 starting. One of my friends got a lemon-based mocktail (pretty good) and I got Cosmopolitan-type cocktail with Prosecco (pretty solid and not overly sweet, just not one of the best cocktails I tried). Another friend ordered Negroni, which is a potent cocktail with a bitter sharp, dry aftertaste. I could hardly taste any hint of sweetness in the drink. My friend thought it was too bitter, too. Honestly, for me it tastes just as bitter as a Manhattan, probably because both cocktails incorporate sweet vermouth. 3 stars for the poor customer service and wait time for standing in line to order drinks. There were 2 or 3 bartenders and they were rushing but also seemed like they weren't efficiently helping customers with drinks in a timely manner. The lounge area was meh (super limited seat spots) and the vibes were bland despite coming here on New Year's Eve. Definitely an older demographic that frequents this bar, not that it's a bad thing, just not our vibe since it would've been more fun if there other people closer to our age, so we decided to bar hop elsewhere after.

It's hit or miss if you find parking on Mission. But the Mission District of South Pasadena is historic and fun to walk around. The staff was incredibly attentive and you could tell very committed to their food and wine program. The patio outside really nice. We were able to walk in at 5:30 and eat at the bar-- and they could not have been more accommodating, even though we did not have reservations. Sitting at the bar given that it's an open kitchen we could see the commitment to made to order food and it's the type of place that if anyone did have an issue with their meal, I am sure they would rectify it. They let me try sips of the wine before I bought a glass. And the front of the house was very warm. We live in the Garvanza area of NE Los Angeles and we will definitely be back.
