We came here for a Dodger postseason game. This place doesn't take reservations, so why did they have little RESERVED signs placed at some of the tables? I asked one of the associates, and she told me that the owners reserve some of the tables for their friends. So, the "inner circle" gets to make a reservation, but not the general public? What's that all about? We wound up waiting in the long line to be seated, and eventually we were seated. This place can't make an old fashioned to save their own life, and should be priced accordingly. Beer selection is decent. The pizza and wings we ordered were just ok. We've had better. I have now been to 3 Rocco's locations - yay me! haha I had a nice time at this Rocco's Tavern in Pasadena while sticking to just drinks and fun with the OCA Homies. We somehow walked in at the perfect time to snag the last round booth of the bar. Prime spot and comfy seating great for a group hang. It really seemed like more of a sports bar playing all the games and being quite loud inside. But we made it work and were able to get some good chatting time in over drinks, as well. I do wish their craft beer menu had some more exciting options, perhaps dipping into some local options. However, I was able to find a couple things on the menu to suit my fancy. Plus can I really complain when my second beer came super sized but priced the same as my first pint. Cheers to somehow landing within their happy hour & the server automatically upgraded us! Party in Pasadena!! Finally stopped into Rocco's w/ the squad for a post dinner hang, great convo and our table board game via my homegirl Sarah S. We caught the happy hour w/ a round of craft (IPAs and Hard Cider). Had a great table, view of both Green Street, where this Rocco's Tavern resides between De Lacey Avenue and Fair Oaks Avenue in Old Town P(asadena.) There's parking in front, but it goes as fast as a home run. Local street parking and garages close by. Most street parking is metered and limited to two hours, so a lot of people opt for garages, rideshare and the local metro. We didn't do food, but a local frequenter and overall incredible human being Miori I., knows all that's good here - from their cool Noon - 7pm happy hour (Monday through Friday), 3pm to 7pm (Saturday and Sunday) to their 10pm to close every day happy hour. Restrooms are solid. Layout is trendy, Rocco's location have a very district modern vintage style with those rustic features, old style booths and tons of sports memorabilia. It's a sports bar at its core, so it can get pretty loud in here. Luckily our group knows how to navigate big spaces and events. Was nice to bond before the holidays with this awesome people aka my co-friends/co-workers and we're definitely up to do it again. Security in front was a gentle giant. And we got checked on fairly regularly by a ready to take on the world server. Pours are very generous even outside of happy hour. Rocco's only downside for me is there lack of a solid vegan options. A House Salad is nice and all, but it's 2025... All their locations have the same menu. Some buffalo cauliflower, fries without parmesan (Rocco's Italian Fries) and a plant-based pizza or burger/sandwich... Please and thank you... Before recently I hadn't been to a Rocco's in well over a year maybe even two because of this. It's nice to have some food everyone can have or at least the option. Came to Rocco's with my wife, son, and 2 of our friends and we really enjoyed it. It's a great location and has a great atmosphere. We sat outside because we had our son with us and they brought out a high chair for us. TVs were both inside of the bar and they had about 4 tvs outside. Service was great as our waitress made sure to check us on and brought out the drinks and food quickly. My friends live close so not sure about the parking situation. 5/5 ambiance. I went on the first Sunday of football and they had multiple games playing and all fans seemed to be represented 4/5 food I wa stood they were famous for their pizza. I typically like cheese that's a little more "baked" here it's pretty gooey and the texture was a little congealed. Michelada was great but on the lighter side of spice. 5/5 service again I was there on an extremely busy Sunday and the waiters were still so attentive when it came to food and drinks. I've tried every single popular non chain pizza location in Pasadena in search of a decent reliable pie and it's ok Pasadena doesn't have that minus the white pie here. The wings are decent if not a bit expensive. They accommodate my Atlanta style request of combined hot sauce and lemon pepper which they don't have to do. Harder to get wing places in SoCal to do that for some reason than you'd think. Service is great and casual, no pressure or rush. Had some stellar service experiences here with a visiting manager (studio city, Bridget). They also have the pandemic style street seating so you can bring your dog. If you came for superbowl, check your receipts, they have a ridiculous hidden fee and tried to round up our bill to get the tip to 18%. Came into Rocco's Tavern in Pasadena and had such a great time! I ordered an extra, extra spicy Bloody Mary after a long night of partying the day before and it was amazing! They nailed the spice and flavor perfectly. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super attentive and friendly. Service was on point the whole time. I got the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza (so good I didn't even get a chance to take a photo because I devoured it ) and my husband had the shrimp tacos, which he loved too. Surprise surprise surprise... I was in town for a concert and time to kill with some pre gaming. So I took to my handy dandy Yelp app and started searching. Soon after I found Rocco's. After a quick uber trip I found myself seated in front of what appeared a fun place to hang out. The bar was full as were the indoor booths. But that didn't bother me as the outdoor seating makes you feel emerged in the vibe. Moses advised it was happy hour and what the specials were. He also provided a menu to peruse. The menu contained your typical bar favorites from wings to pizza, to mozzarella sticks and oops they were out of zucchini. They also had sandwiches and pastas which looks really good as I saw them going by about to be served to other tables. We went with beers, served in nice sized beer mugs with sturdy handles, pizza and wings. The 911 was HOT and very tasty. Maybe too hot for some but just the right amount of heat for me.The lemon pepper fries were also tasty. The pizza was really good. Made in a this crust with fresh toppings and gooey cheese. The service was good and friendly. The food was delicious. The location was fun and friendly. I do look forward to going back. This place pops off!! Came here for Dodgers vs Yankees Game 1, and the place went wild. I dont remember much if the service was great or not, but it was just a great time. I had just gotten off of a 5 hour flight and was looking for a place to eat in the Pasadena area that was serving food late. I just happened to stumble upon this place and I walked in at probably the worst time for a non-sports fan lol! There was a LA Dodgers game that was just wrapping up and the crowd was extremely rowdy, TV speakers were loud, and it was like being at one big frat party. But the energy and vibe in there was outstanding and my bartender was a sweetheart. She was able to get me the last spot at the bar, ring my food up before the kitchen closed, and even gave me a free shot after the Dodgers won. Super crispy, and done very well. Ordered 50 wings at $88 smackaroos. Hot and lemon pepper....let me tell you, I wish the Hot was HOTTER. They were a bit sweet for me if you had to ask me, and not a tickle on my tongue whatsoever. Had to bring out the big guns at home and add some heat myself. Turned out to be amazing once I turned the heat level went up. Next onto the lemon pepper! This was a total HIT! So crispy, and a perfect amount of lemon pepper dust to make anyone's taste buds happy. Took about 20 minutes from phone call to pick up, friendly service all around. I was wandering through Colorado Ave, looking for a bar where I could pre-game before hitting the next of what I hoped would be an intense, high-octane, party-driven Saturday night. Colorado had a lot to offer in the ways of bars but none of the seemed right. But just down the block at a street called Green the spot I was destined to be at, was found. That is right, I went from state to color, on a one block trek. I entered Rocco's Tavern and the place was well attended. But not so well attended, I still secured a bar stool with minimal effort. Two stools were open. I sat next to a guy by his lonesome, having beers and looking at their jumbo screens that displayed a Dodger's game and a UFC fight. I am likely wrong about these two assumptions. I am not a sports fan so when I see our boys in Blue and fighting between men in shorts, I imagine a game and a fight. What the big screen tv's could have been showing were reels of past game and fights, or analysis of these. Meaning that if you are a fan of Dodger games and other sporting endeavors, then this place will have what you crave: Space to view the wonder of home-runs and the woe of strike-outs amidst other rowdy fans, on screens that are the size of a giant's thumb. I do have to say that the bartenders of the joint, I think their names were Chris and Sarah were welcoming, even to a stranger (a non-regular). It was my first time stepping into the joint, and I felt there hospitality in Chris's fist bump and Sarah's smile and engaging personality. This kind of grace is nurturing for a loner at a bar. It is like entering a garden and as soon as you do roses and lilies bloom when you cross their step, and tilt toward you, offering their space. The first guy, politely answered my questions. For instance, the cocktail menu on the small plastic holder did not name the prices of the cocktails. I assumed that this could be high in price. I mean we all know that when menu's don't have prices that usually means cha-ching, with an extra ching! He explained that the cocktails would be around 14 dollars, he was mostly right. I confirmed with Sarah. I moved away from Rudy, I did not want to bother him, yet, I wanted bar company. The next person I talked to was a regular. He game me his schedule of attendance. He went there Monday through Friday before, but now only Friday and Saturdays. His doctor had recommended that he cut back on the beers and shots. He accommodated. Good for him. Eventually, I did meet other bar folks and had grand ol' time. The cocktails were reasonable priced, on standard for other similar joints. The service was quick and efficient, and made me feel seen. I stole a slice of pizza from a person near, and the pizza was great. I would get it again if I were there drinking and enjoying the company of friends or others. This place has everything that is needed to mix a wonderful night of excesses and joy. And if you are looking for less, than I am sure this place can also accommodate. read more

I enjoy going to Rocco's and this location when I visit Pasadena. Parking can be tough but there are some parking lots within the vicinity. I have ordered and eaten their mussel appetizer and when it arrived it looked very very small but just thought maybe there were no shells. I counted 12 mussels and in putting the side plate in the bowl you really understood what was served and at a 20.99 cost super disappointing. If they did not have the serving needed then not take the order. I am glad to order the cheese pizza to go for my kiddos or else it would have been limited. read more

How fun is it to discover a wonderful place that has been there all along?! This restaurant is located on one of my favorite blocks in all of LA and yet I only discovered it a week ago :) in that time, I've been twice, and both times I can say the experience was lovely. The outdoor space is really great, the happy hour specials are *chef's kiss* (two for one drifor a very generous time period daily), and the food is great. Part of me wants to keep it all to myself but my greater desire is to share with all of you so that they continue to be successful! Especially love the PEI mussels :) Updating: recently this place has really gone downhill. It took over 10 minutes standing outside when it was pretty empty for someone to even come to see about seating us, and when we were seated and while we ate there were flies constantly swarming. Ok, its a sports bar. You should know what you are getting. And what are you getting? A very lively atmosphere, with great staff and food (and yes, I am riding high on UCLA beating Oregon at the buzzer). The staff was very accommodating. They looked for the game I wanted to watch, found it, and sat my buddy and me in the section. They were busy as a whole, but they made sure we always had our drinks refilled, our food was ok, and that we were having an overall good experience. The food: Yeah, we got the basics. We're guys, we're watching sports, we ordered the reliables....just go with it. Their wings were quite good. They were not dry, and the spice level was just perfect (enough of a kick, but not enough to make you gasping for water......or whiskey). Rocco's white pie is my favorite. I crave it all the time! Their wings are amazing too so we have trouble deciding between ordering the pizza or wings. We usually end up getting both and having leftovers for days because the pizza is giant lol I don't think their pastas or appetizers are good but the pizzas and wings are amazing. And you can't beat their generous happy hours that go to 7pm! It's been so long since I've been to a sports bar because the vibes since before the pandemic have been lackluster, but I had friend in town, and I needed to find a good spot in between us, and I'd always wanted to check out Rocco's. They definitely have a ton of TVs and it's got a nice open environment with outside seating as well as inside but with a big garage door that allows both the inside and outside visually connected . If you get there before 11 AM, you will have to order from the breakfast menu because they don't serve the good stuff until 11 AM which is about halfway through the second quarter NFL game. You're gonna drop some coin if you're sitting through 3+ hours of games, so just know that going in; $50 seems about the minimum for that span of squatting and enjoying the atmosphere. read more

Not as much sports-related shows playing on the screens given that NHL and NBA season was almost over at the time and NFL hasn't even started yet.
