You can't always tell if a food truck at a brewery will be a hit or not - but this one was. The bottom crust had a nice char and the edges were pillowy. There were 4 flavors to choose from each time - so you should be able to find an option that you like. I've tried 3 different pizzas and was really surprise at how good the pizza was. Good ingredients, good flavor combinations, and cooked really well. Follow their FB page to see where they will be. I will definitely keep tabs on their events and follow them around. I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like!

Craig is absolutely amazing, so kind, I loved chatting with him! We first met him at one their pop ups at a brewery in Albany, which confirmed everything he makes is delicious. The pizza was outstanding for our wedding and our guests absolutely loved it! We heard many rave reviews from our family, and they were even able to accommodate some special requests on the spot. Absolutely amazing! And we got leftover pizza afterwards, which was a lifesaver particularly for me and my husband since we were being pulled in many directions throughout the night. Thank you Craig for making our wedding so special, I know we will be visiting you again soon!

The skewers and pansit are solid but the standout item is the lumpia, juicy and full of favor. Be sure to get a couple of these in your order. I was told they are "off the Northway at Exit 16" but they are more specifically at the corner of Ballard and Route 9 which is a couple of miles off the freeway. They lease space within a pleasant outdoor garden shop so you can stroll and maybe take home some flowers or plants after your meal.

They serve lumpia, pancit, marinated meat skewers (chicken and pork), adobo (chicken and pork) and white rice. There is patio seating nearby under tents. I stopped Manila Grille for takeout. I ordered the #3 Meal ($16.50) with Chicken Skewer, Pork Skewer, 2 Lumpia, Pancit noodles, & soft white rice, packed in a paper box and thin wooden flatware. The grilled marinated meat skewers were very tender and had good flavors. The hot fried lumpia with sweet chili dipping sauce was also pretty good. The pancit noodles (very thin glass noodles) were tossed with veggies, peppers, green onion, cilantro, seasonings, and tender pieces of chicken, had a nice blend of flavors. I would stop by again for Filipino eats if I am passing by this spot on the way to Corinth.

The craziness of…read morethe new rage, from an oldie but goodie, and the committment from the owner to make his/her greateness available at reasonable price and in cool digs. Now, I wouldn't call the New York State Capital lawn cool digs, but seeing as it just a few blocks away and plenty of green grass, park benches, picnic tables, and other seating, how can one resist coming out here for a stroll and a great bite to eat? Not to mention, it is the only place in Albany where you can find 4-5 food trucks to choose from, which makes me feel sad, as that number is low compared to other progressive cities like, San Diego, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, New York. It also upsets some people that the capitol gets special treatment for placement of food trucks, but let's save that for another day. Michele's looked good. I was simply craving a burger and fries. However, I've learned from my food trucking, that fries can be somewhat of a challenge. Either soggy, dried, or just not right. I hate suffering through that, so instead, I ordered the tots they have. Being a chemist by nature, I don't know what it is with tots, but you can hardly mess them up. They always come out crispy on outside and nice and hot inside. Michele's did not disappoint. I ordered my 0.3lb burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The film broke loose and this movie came to a screeching halt when I heard, "We are out of onions." "Ahhhhgg," I thought, as in my opinion a burger just isn't a burger without onions. Before I could complete my sigh of disbelief, the server said, "We can put some fried onions on it, if you want. Will take a little longer." I was ecstatic. Not because I got my onions, albeit in a different form, but the food truck guy did not have to offer this, but he did. Why? I don't know, ask him, but I can guess it is because they have that food truck service mentality of "Let's take care of our special customers." It did take a little longer but was worth it. The cook handed me a freshly cooked cheeseburger with fried onions and tater tots. He even warned me that the tots were piping hot just out of the fryer. Really nice touch. I will definitely be back and try their other menu items which look really good including the clam, even though I am not a big clam fan.

No regrets but I was craving something healthy. The Healthy Cafe Truck was parked outside the building at lunch time. Thankfully I got to it right before the line took off. After a couple of minutes I turned around and the line was looooong. The bowl of the week featured greens, wild rice and quinoa, tortilla strips, some other healthy stuff, and they allowed customers to swap a chopped up black bean burger for their chicken or ground beef options. They topped it all off with a lime vinaigrette. It ended up being exactly what I was looking for! Truly delicious and made me feel healthy! The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. A great option in the area!

They have a good selection of toppings and offer several fat free dressings, if you're into that. I get the Peapod Salad: romaine with grilled chicken, edamame, roasted red peppers, and peanuts, with the Asian sesame dressing. Their taco salad in an edible bowl is also pretty good, although I don't love the fat free sour cream. I've heard positive things about their wraps, and I've been meaning to try the fruit smoothies for a while. Service here is always particularly fast and friendly. No, nothing at the food trucks is cheap, but the Healthy Cafe takes credit cards, which not all the trucks do.

We had just come from a drive around the NY capitol building and, whatever way the GPS brough us, it said that we had "arrived" when we were still on Delaware Ave. We were looking into an empty storefront and we were worried. But we turned the corner onto Central and were overjoyed to see McCant's. We couldn't tell if it was open from the street but we pressed our luck, parking and walking about a block. They were open! Yay! You can order at a kiosk/screen. Our group each went with a different dog, our group ending up with a Memphis, a Slaw Dog, and a New Yorker. We shared an order of fries. The food was ready quickly and as the food got off the folks behind the counter made sure everything looked good to us (it did!). My Mom gave her New Yorker 5 stars. Great flavor with the sauerkraut and onion sauce. My Aunt gave her Slaw Dog 4.75 stars. Tons of cole slaw (maybe a touch too much). I'd give my Memphis Dog 3.75. The McCants chili is pretty loose, liquidy and there is plenty of it on this top (maybe a touch too much). I didn't think the bun stood a chance against all the liquid toppings but, with some delicate handling, it made it through the whole eating experience. Phew. It was good but I think the chili really dominated the other toppings. The fries were great. Really well-seasoned. The folks behind the counter made sure we had a tasty experience as we left. I'd definitely come back here! I'm eyeing that Fire Truck!
