Evie is a sweet little pup, but also very stubborn and she took to the training immediately, and with practice at home on a regular basis, we made great progress! The counter surfing has ended, and she is getting much better with her manners as well as off leash recall. I also recently boarded Evie, and let me tell you- that was incredible. She went out 2x for hour long hikes, and I added on some boosters to reinforce her Turn Key training, she had a blast, and was exhausted when I picked her up. The staff is wonderful about checking in and sending photos both when training and boarding. I would and have recommended Dog Gone Amazing for training and boarding needs.

I made an appointment for an evaluation had a great conversation and so far I was very much convinced this was the place for my reactive dog and I. Well little to know it was going to be worst decision and place I could have chosen for my dog and I. I came to this facility due to having a reactive dog. I started back in March it is now June and I still sit at home with a reactive dog limiting the places I can take him. It's absurd! I followed all the procedures even after the 2 week training. Which all that was done during training were obedience commands. While I brought my pet for reactivity?? Ok, moving forward group classes were next. There I am as a good dog mom taking him and processing with such. Just to have some people who have not showed up in months get all the attention with their reactive dog. It is unfair and injustice! While I had been patiently waiting for the help. It also doesn't sound right when I had to constantly beg for the help my dog needs. I paid for the service I should get the help without having to beg for it. Not sure why I wasn't treated or got the help like all the other clients? It is confirmed that their specialty are not dogs who are reactive like mine.(Cane Corso) It is just false advertisement when they say they can help you with any kind of dog breed. If the facility Sit Means Sit did not have the capability of helping me with my pet. I should have been told so at the evaluation, or yet I should have been only charged for they advising me to buy a E collar and figure the rest out on my own. To concluded my review I'm highly disappointed, dissatisfied, and now discouraged since I put in lots of time, effort, energy and money. As a large pit mix I'd rescued, these issues were super demoralizing and we were scared Bo would someday hurt someone, despite our constant vigilance. Plus his world had gotten super small because I couldn't trust taking him to the places we used to hang in public. Anyway, after the meet and greet we went with a moderate board and train program. And then it didn't start as smoothly as we all hoped. Not because of their team, Bo was just more aggressive and reactive than he'd displayed during the meet and greet. Was it disappointing - absolutely, but most important was Stand Proud were having the difficult conversation with us about what Bo needed. We all came up with a plan that set Bo up for success, and they made sure it was something we were comfortable with. Since then, it's been a journey, but the results are remarkable and they've been so invested in his success. He's got a strong grasp on place and sit until released, and even off-leash skills and recall. He's also much more comfortable regulating himself and waiting for guidance when he's unsure. We have boarded our Weimaraner Oakley several times at Silver State and have never had any issues…read more The staff are friendly and we never have problems making reservations. Other place around town fill up since there so small. Here they have a nice large grass play area with really helps a hyper Weimaraner like Oakley to get exercises. She usually comes home looking nice and fit after playing everyday for the time were gone. They people who run this are defiantly very passionate about your dogs which really comforts us while we're away. I'd recommend Silver State Kennel to board your dog!

My neighbor was walking by and two dogs had escaped this location; one pit bull and one German…read moreshepherd. The two dogs were standing in front of an OPEN GATE from this facility. The dogs were growling and barking and then both dogs charged at my neighbor! Luckily my neighbor picked up some rocks and threw them at the dogs to stop them. My neighbor and another man were able to escape without being attacked. Someone should call the police and at least make a report on this facility.

THE TRAINING STICKS!!…read more One year ago I dropped Vision off for his Board and Train. Today, I took him out on a hike off-leash and he did amazing! By the end, he was WILLINGLY in heel and walking by my side. He continued to listen to commands throughout the hike, and this just goes to show that sticking with Bailey's plan and continuing the training works! Since Vision's Board and Train, I've utilized Bailey's boarding for various trips. Vision is excited every time he's dropped off and I know that I can trust Bailey and her team. I'm even more grateful now than I was a year ago after picking Vision up. He is still the same goofy and happy dog - he's just more fulfilled and I am a more knowledgeable owner. Trevor did such an amazing job of helping me achieve my goal of getting my Corso Boris his CGC and…read moreAKC trick titles that I decided to send him for a two week board and train. I couldn't be more pleased! Boris is a backyard bred corso I rescued and he has many of the temperament issues that go along with that such as overstimulation and reactivity. As he's gotten older they have come up and become hard for me to manage. Trevor assessed him and was immediately able to zero in on the behavior! When we went to pick up Boris Trevor spent over an hour working with us to teach us how to better manage the behavior as well as go over what Boris had learned. One of the issues we were having was keeping him focused if an off leash dog was around, using the skills we were taught as well as what Boris had learned, when a dog approached us Boris ignored the dog and we were able to continue peacefully. What a pleasure to be able to enjoy a walk without having to be on alert! Complete game changer to be able to enjoy your dog. Now Boris is ready to go for the advanced CGC and we will surely be involving Trevor in that process.
