I adopted a young border collie mix from the Humane society of Reno…read more I learned he had been adopted and returned twice before. I thought had bad can he be. Well, I found out. He escaped from my closed in patio 8 times. Walking him was a test of patients, every little thing distracted him. Other dogs were a major problem; seems he was mentally challenged by them. Holding him back took everything I had. I am disabled and walking can be a challenge for me. I had to do something if I was going to keep him. I called multiple dog training facilities, the Only one to call me back was Stephen from Real K9 Solutions. He took Shadow for 3 weeks. When the dog came back, I was able walk him with a loose leash. He no longer attempted to escape. On walks other dogs were still a challenge, but nowhere near what it was. I can walk him today and have him sit when other dogs are near, something I would never have been able to do prior to his training. Today I have decided to keep Shadow. In fact, he is quietly laying net to me. If not for Stephen and Real K9 Solutions it would have been return number 3 for Shadow. I can't recommend Stephen and Real K9 Solutions highly enough.

Steve came in and instantly made an impact. Every single session we could see our puppy Willow getting better and better. He has a way with Dogs where they truly want to listen to him. He also is very good at explaining everything which makes it easier when you have to train your puppy outside of training sessions. I would highly recommend Steve as your puppy trainer!

Sit Means sit saved my family!…read more Rocco has had a rough past and his future wasn't bright sitting in a shelter. He was abused and then sat in a shelter for 3 years (where he was loved!) We adopted him in July 2019. He settled in well, but right before we found out we were pregnant in September 2019, he bit my husband as to protect me from him. No protection was needed. We didn't know what to do and I was concerned we wouldn't be a family! I called Julie at sit means sit and ended up doing the board and train program in October 2019 and continued group training after and still do today! Feb 15, 2020, Rocco passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and is working on becoming a therapy dog! That's less than 5 months of working with Julie and her team at sit means sit! What a difference! We love going to group training and will continue to improve Rocco's skills even more! I would recommend sit means sit and Julie and her team to everyone! The earlier the better but it's never too late! (even for our 4 year old wild desert dog!)

We went to see Lilli at sitting sit and we did the reactive rehab program within about four days he was already behaving better. After the two weeks of working with Lilli he is no longer reacting. Dogs. He has learned all his commands and he is a better dog all around. Sit Means Sit has really helped our family through a difficult time and I recommend them highly if you were encountering. Reactive dog this program really works! I highly recommend this business Who needs dog training. Thank you, Sit Means Sit.

Trevor has made it possible for our rescue to save dogs that we would otherwise be unable to help…read more We pull dogs off the euthanasia list, and rehabilitate them so they can go into new forever homes. Without Trevor, we wouldn't be able to help half the dogs we have in the last several years. From dogs with dog aggression, to fear issues and reactivity... Trevor has rehabilitated dozens and dozens of dogs for us. We are so grateful for all of his hard work and education. Not many trainers would be willing to do things like donating classes, board and training dogs and more. 10/10

Trevor did such an amazing job of helping me achieve my goal of getting my Corso Boris his CGC and…read moreAKC trick titles that I decided to send him for a two week board and train. I couldn't be more pleased! Boris is a backyard bred corso I rescued and he has many of the temperament issues that go along with that such as overstimulation and reactivity. As he's gotten older they have come up and become hard for me to manage. Trevor assessed him and was immediately able to zero in on the behavior! When we went to pick up Boris Trevor spent over an hour working with us to teach us how to better manage the behavior as well as go over what Boris had learned. One of the issues we were having was keeping him focused if an off leash dog was around, using the skills we were taught as well as what Boris had learned, when a dog approached us Boris ignored the dog and we were able to continue peacefully. What a pleasure to be able to enjoy a walk without having to be on alert! Complete game changer to be able to enjoy your dog. Now Boris is ready to go for the advanced CGC and we will surely be involving Trevor in that process.
