They spent a lot of time with us to understand exactly what we wanted, coming out multiple times prior to even having a commitment on our part. Their work is impeccable. They took care with little details like adding a tensioning line to our gate fence in case it ever needs adjustment, or placing drain lines inconspicuously. Great value too! Each quote we got was reasonable, enough that I've stopped looking for other bidders.

There was a crushed storm drain pipe under the existing portion of driveway that was causing water back up in heavy rains. R & M had to carefully saw cut and pick out the existing concrete, lay in a new 4" pipe, encase and protect the new pipe in the proper rock and then put in new exposed aggregate concrete to match the existing. PERFECTION! You'd never know it was done except that the original concrete is not nearly as good as the new work. This was an exceptional job. Next ... 203 feet of driveway leading up to the house. The existing gravel driveway with all its country charm was not working for us for several reasons. We did the math on putting in a new asphalt drive with it's maintenance needs over 50 years versus a "one and done" concrete install. Concrete won. OMG ... so beautiful. I've had experience with concrete installs in residential and commercial applications. I know what I'm looking at when I see the work done. This was the best work I've ever seen. Last thought to share. FEED YOUR CONTRACTORS. They really appreciate it. It's really easy to put out sandwiches, chips, and beverages. Have it delivered if you need to. It clearly means so much to the crew and a good break with healthy food fuels a good afternoon's work.

Cons: Cleanup left something to be desired and there was a surprising amount of damage done to my yard. Crew took it upon themselves to fill the area around the perimeter of patio (where a trench was formed during form removal) with drainage rock. When asked about it, the crew member stated that he "wanted to try something new" and "didn't want to ask for permission." Huh? They did clean up the rock after I got back in contact with Ryan. Crew told me he would make it look nice, and instead left two gigantic piles of rock in front of my house. Why even bother telling me you'd make it look nice at that point? I will admit it did get a chuckle out of me. It was a mixed bag of an experience for me, but in the end I am happy with the patio and driveway - which is what matters most.

I had a bathroom remodel I was told it would take 3-4 weeks, almost 4 months later, I hired another contractor to complete the job. The tile is poorly set, it is not level, the grout is not flush with the tile. Tile was scratched. Some of the new fixtures are scratched. They received the tile in plenty of time, however failed to check the shipment and when it was time for install found the boxes and tile damaged, another delay. My husband had to fix the barn doors that were installed, while doing so, found several broken screws and numerous drill holes. The cross slates were glued on not nailed, they have been replaced twice by us. Didn't fix a joist in the floor, that was on the job list. Called me and demanded final payment when the job was not finished. (didn't pay completely until finished). It was excuse after excuse.

They fixed a hole in the ceiling. And when you call them on it, they come back to fix it with your own materials. 3. First attempt to reattach molding around a closet door and they break it and call it good. Second attempt to fix they cut it short and claim that it dosen't come that long. But strangely the third attempt it came out fine. 4. I had a complaint that the the mixing valve on the shower wasn't getting hot enough, so they kindly set it to scald (Max). When asked if there was an in between, they said yes but left it at max. 5. They brought a dumpster in for the demo of the bathroom and told us if we wanted to, we could put stuff in there but not to go over the lip of it. But then told us it was saposto be for the demo only and they should have charged us for it. My problem with that was if that's the case, I must have gotten a new garbage disposal and been full of all that fast food garbage that was in there too.. 6. They also wanted to charge us work that was not done. 7. The contract stated 2-piece tub but a one piece showed up, so they had to cut a hole in the side of the house and and left the corner uncovered for a day while it rained. In short, if I hadn't have check the work at all times, I would have gotten suckered.

He answered it every time he wasn't 30 feet in the air on a ladder and was writing down customer information in the notepad he pulled from his tool belt. I was joking with him about needing a secretary and he says "I've tried that and customers get poor unhelpful service." With that being said... when his phone isn't ringing.. he is installing the nicest gutters you will ever own. All the corners joints he takes time to cut and form on site. Not like the patched in corner joints a lot of guys use. Also he screws the gutters in with the fancy inside clip things and not those giant ugly nails.
