Wow I cannot say enough about what great service we received from Parker at Lacey Roofing! We needed quick re-roof on our home as it was for sale. When I called, Parker came out and actually gave us a written estimate right away....unlike others that took several days to even come by. Parker included an estimate for a new skylight which was badly needed which all the other estimators overlooked. Even with the new skylight included, Parker's estimate was slightly lower than others. Once I called to schedule, Parker got us done the very next day!!! And we were able to sell the house the following week! Great company. After a wind storm I noticed I was missing several shingles. I had called several other roofing complies to schedule a estimate. Parker, at Lacey roofing was the only one that actually got on my roof to give me a estimate. The other companies did a drive by estimate. From there I was sold on Lacey roofing, convinced they would do the job right. Parker advised me of the status of my roof, and gave me a estimate for a reroof just Incase I would be interested in the next couple years. A couple weeks later I decided to do a reroof, Lacey roofing added me to their schedule and just a few sunny days later they made it to my roof and was able to complete the job in one day. They hand nail all the shingles to ensure there are no overdriven nails, as compared to a nail gun, which caused the roof damage originally. read more

I had a leak which I thought was the roof, boy did I get taken for 400 dollars. They sent 3 guys that had no idea how to fix the leak it was it turned out a window above the roof. I can't believe that I fell for there explanation and it did nothing to fix the problem. Did they try to fix it no. Did they return my money no heard nothing back when I called. I gave up. read more

I love my new roof! We had several places come and give estimates. Lacey roofing was not only the lowest bid but also the longest workmanship warranty. We had 14 days to accept their bid but it took us awhile to get all the quotes we wanted. They still honored their bid price. Lanny discussed payment and schedule with us. Given that we got our new roof in the spring I knew it would be a spur of the moment day that they came out. Lanny informed us ahead of times he doesn't have his guys work on Sunday's so they can spend time with their families. That is top notch business practices in my opinion. My husband said all the guys were respectful and very sweet with our son. They even swept off my back porch which was a damn mess from the winter. A general contractor called Lacey Roofing out to our home for an estimate. Lanny was really nice said he would give us the quote directly since we weren't using the general contractor. I called several times over the next few weeks with no response. Then out of the blue we were called and were asked for our email address so they could finally send us a quote. I felt kind of sorry for the gal who has to make those calls. We had already had several other roofers out and estimates and had gone with United Roofing Solutions. I don't know what their estimate was but even if it was the lowest and better materials, I wouldn't work with them. Its too bad that customer service wasn't their priority. read more

Thank you to the roofing crew and Parker for a job done well and efficiently! We asked for estimates from 5 roofing companies before deciding to go with Lacey Roofing. Parker came out, gave us a reasonable estimate for complete roof replacement with gutters and a few upgrades and was willing to work with us to help us meet our budget. We can't say enough nice words about this company and its staff. They were able to complete our new roof and enhancements in about 3 days. All the people we met during the re-roof were so nice and helpful and courteous. It was pleasant to be around them even through the work noise. Work was completed in a timely manner and with the utmost in professional skills and work. Even better, they did a super job on area clean up and removal of nails and other debris. We had them give us a quote and gave them $1500 down payment. We had to repair I beams and the insallation. Upon them telling us they would have it done at the end of September and ignored our calls. We had a Storm the first week of October and our ceiling in the large room bowed and water burst into the room destroying everything. They finally came out but now we have about $10,000 in damage. Thank you for your fine job in costing us a whole lot of money. Also I would never recommend you and your customer service is way below standards. read more

Horrible!!! Filled out website form over weekend, sent in. No word, Tuesday I call and a guy says he will give my info to a certain person that will call me back that deals with leaks. End of Weds no word. Nice website line of "fast and friendly service to the area for over 39 years" NOT! I like to stay local with businesses in Lacey with my rental so I tried & waited for a return call. Called Weatherguard Roofing in Olympia and in 2min I'm getting a guy out to check tomorrow even though he is busy as heck. Now that's SERVICE!! Wish I would have read these reviews before calling them for a quote. Communication with any company I do business with is very important. Called to make an apt for someone to come out. Was told "we aren't Comcast, we don't need to give you a window, will be there when we say we will". I explained I would have to schedule myself into work early and to work late with my employer to give me time mid day to meet with someone. Then, day of apt Lanny called and said he was "double booked" and couldn't come....do business with these people at your own risk. Read the other reviews. read more

Worse customer service I have ever seen! After my estimate was done, I went into the office to pay. My first question to the woman at he desk was "What kind of discount do you give for paying with cash?" Her eyes got as wide as saucers as she stammered "Do you know Lanny personally?" I said "No, only met him once when he did my estimate." She looked at my work badge around my neck and said with an awkward laugh, "You don't work for the IRS, do you?" I INSTANTLY SAW RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE!" What ??? "No", I replied. She then continued with how "sometimes" the owner just deducts the taxes or something like that but I need to discuss this with him before going any further. Am I the criminal now??? What business doesn't want payment in full with cash? Or have a debit card machine these days-her next statement to avoid me from paying by debit card. She can't even look me at me now and she starts shuffling papers on her desk. I told her that he needs to call me asap so I can go to the bank and come back the next day as I am off work and that is the only time I will make it to the bank during the week. She says she will text him asap. She notes that I want to schedule my appt in 2 weeks. I get no call from Lanny for 5 days. But then I get a vm-from Lanny-he has a cancellation for the following morning and knows I am waiting-so I need to call him back within a 1/2 hr so he can schedule me. So suddenly, now I am worth call back from him? And I need to jump on it because he wont have a job the next day if I don't? No apology for ignoring me for 5 days, no mention of not returning my calls or for the ridiculous comments made by his employee who basically revealed the truth by accident -that unless you know him personally there "isn't" a cash discount, which is unheard of in itself. This is obviously not a legitimate discount because I then came home and scheduled an estimate with another roofing company who were "brave" and "legal" enough to discuss cash pay/discounts over the phones and list the specifications on the proposal. What kinda of business are you really running over there? Sounds shady to me ,and everyone I have talked to. Oh and by the way Lanny I do have family that "personally" knows your family. And I must add, they too are business owners in Lacey, not too far from you at all, so next time you should be more careful of who your'e make those "special deals" with because you NEVER know who they could be related to and what kind of name you are really making for yourself.
