I selected his bid out of three because I believe in supporting local, small businesses plus his bid was much more reasonable than the other small business. I also referenced checked the heck out of his company, and the products he uses, and was pleased with my results. When I accepted the bid, he called me right away to set the start date and time. On the day we scheduled, his crew showed up on time, on the dot, and began working. They were pleasant, respectful of my property and cleaned up at the end of each day. It was fun watching them work, they were like a well oiled machine. At the end of the second day, Carlos called to let me know they'd be back for a couple more hours in the am to finish up and to make sure everything was cleaned up. We then arranged a time for me to pay him the balance owed and he showed up on time again.
