The material Charlie uses was #2 in quality and there was very little difference (except price) between the #1 and the #2 brand. Reading Charlie Roofing reviews I found only highly positive reviews including one who said if he could give more than 5 stars he would. Well, that is exactly how I feel! He arrived exactly on time for the appointment and provided a bid the same day. I selected his bid out of three because I believe in supporting local, small businesses plus his bid was much more reasonable than the other small business. I also referenced checked the heck out of his company, and the products he uses, and was pleased with my results. When I accepted the bid, he called me right away to set the start date and time. On the day we scheduled, his crew showed up on time, on the dot, and began working. They were pleasant, respectful of my property and cleaned up at the end of each day. It was fun watching them work, they were like a well oiled machine. At the end of the second day, Carlos called to let me know they'd be back for a couple more hours in the am to finish up and to make sure everything was cleaned up. We then arranged a time for me to pay him the balance owed and he showed up on time again. Such a great company and business model, I highly recommend Charlie Roofing, Carlos was very respectful, appreciative, and a pleasure to work with. He made the whole process pleasant.

We were made aware it would be a while before they could get out due to other obligations. We were fine with that. The roof was cleaned November 2024, and they did a good job. Come March 2025 we had a leak. It took quite a while to get them out for a fix. Come holiday time 2025 the leak which had been fixed was back, so we called. The person we spoke to said they weren't sure if someone could come out that day. We waited three weeks while water was coming into our living room every time it rained for a call back. We had to hire another roofing company to fix the leak. They fixed it in three days. We still have to fix the water damage. Then we got a text in January 2026 asking if we still needed to have someone fix our leak....seriously?!

WeatherGuard Roofing installed a roof on our large horse barn in 2016 and provided us with a…read more10-year workmanship warranty. Despite paying over $54,000 for the roof, it began leaking within the first month. Over the next 9 years, we contacted them repeatedly for repairs. The leaks never stopped. They later tried to claim the warranty was only five years, despite us having written documentation of the 10-year warranty. When we met with the owner in 2025, he blamed the leaks on the building itself, saying it wasn't possible to properly roof a pole barn--yet somehow still sold us the job in the first place. We hired an independent roofing inspector who performed a controlled water test, and the roof leaked within hours. He confirmed there is no realistic way to repair this roof because it was improperly installed as a second-layer overlay. We now have no choice but to completely replace the roof at our own expense. In our opinion, this company does not stand by its work, and we feel misled by both the workmanship and the warranty process. We strongly urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution and consult with an independent roofing expert before signing a contract.
