We got the fish tacos, fish sandwich, crabcake sandwich and the special summer salad with peaches. Salad was delicious and fresh - very shareable across 4 people. The sandwiches and tacos were delicious. The sweet potato wedges were really thick slabs of sweet potatoes and not at all crispy. (If you like them crispy would ask them to prepare them that way). Somehow I always forget about this place, situated in the Walmart plaza. It's so cute inside and there's plenty of outside seating as well. The bathrooms were large and well kept as well, which is always a plus. For apps, the soups were divine. I got coconut shrimp and although pricy for 4 shrimp, it was delicious. The crab cake sandwich wasn't the best I ever had but that's my own fault, I have high expectations for crab. The sweet potato wedges were perfect though! I loved the sea scallops a friend ordered, paired with the vegetable risotto? Yummmm! Dessert was coconut cheesecake, a thick, sweet treat we all enjoyed. I went here for a Friday lunch. The restaurant was empty. We had clams casino, tuna and a crab cake sandwich. The tuna was rare , done in a Japanese style and was very good. My wife enjoyed the crab cake . Clams casino were also good. Had an excellent cappuccino for dessert. The restaurant is attractive, service was good and it's BYOB.The location is a little unusual. I came here with friends. We had a reservation for 6:30 pm and were seated promptly. This place is located in a strip mall right near Walmart. This is a very casual place. There are two areas inside for dining. On one side it's very casual, and on the other side it's casual with a modern twist. Dogs are welcomed, Dockside Market and Grill has outdoor seating. They also have a Kids Menu- Grilled Or Fried Shrimp Cod Fish Nuggets Chicken Tenders Grilled Cheese Linguini With Marinara. They can even accommodate handicapped diners. There is handicapped parking directly out front. On the table was placed hot bread and butter and water for everyone. I shared several appetizer's. Korean Beef Skewers-grilled beef tenderloin marinated with soy and ginger finished with Korean bbq sauce. I was very surprised how tender the beef tenderloin was, it melted in your mouth. (Do not get it overcooked.) I had a few of my friends try it. They also really enjoyed these skewers. ( definitely get this.) These skewers also had great flavor and weren't spicy.I could've just eaten this. I also shared one of their Special Appetizers of Stuffed Clams, Coconut Shrimp, and Thai Chili Chicken pieces. I tried a little of everything, and it too was good. For my Entree I decided on Day Boat Panko Crusted Sea Scallops- Crusted Sea Scallops served with Lime, Sage Aioli and Vegetable Risotto. ( you can also have them pan seared.) My scallops were cooked perfectly. They were very tender and fresh. The Panko Crusted Sea Scallops had a nice golden crust and were very tender. I love their lime, sage aioli it's served under the Sea Scallops. I asked for extra aioli to dip the Sea Scallops in because the aioli is delicious. Along with the Sea Scallops is a lovely Vegetable Risotto which makes a nice accompaniment. Some of the people at my table chose to get their french fries instead of risotto. I definitely had to try a couple and they were good.I dipped the fries in the aioli. For my boyfriend's entree he chose Filet Tips and Shrimp-beef tenderloin tips with cabernet demi-glace and grilled jumbo shrimp over vegetable risotto. He enjoyed his meal very much. My other friend ordered their Bacon Cheeseburger- it was a nice size and came with bacon and American cheese,tomato,and red onion. He too enjoyed his cheese burger and fries. My other 2 friends chose their Pan Seared Day Boat Sea Scallops. One chose to get the Vegetable Risotto, and the other chose to get fresh Broccoli and French Fries. Dockside Market and Grill is a BYOB. For dessert we shared a Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée which was so good, a Chocolate Mousse which was decedent, and a Pistachio Cheesecake which was rich and creamy. My wife and I recently moved into the area so we're trying a bunch of new places. I kept seeing Dockside whenever I had to run to Lowe's. We decided to try it one evening, not knowing it was BYOB. Everything we ordered was off the specials menu. We started with an appetizer sampler. My wife had the grilled caesar salad as an entree. It was done like a wedge salad where they cut the romaine in half. I had a seafood platter with lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Everything was excellent. My wife thought her salad was a bit too charred but she's very picky about anything grilled. The staff were very friendly. They have the specials menu on several whiteboards which they bring to the table, instead of printed out and inserted into the regular menu. read more

Very disappointed. I live alone,do Eldercare had health issues so stay frugal. I had a rough week. But decided to treat myself to what I recalled being excellent seafood chowder from here. I got a 16oz to go and a burger for my Daughter.,$26.plus but not bad is it's good. The waitress never once looked up at me as she headed me my order.I asked for ketchup for burger ,she said the a packet in there I asked for more please,and crackers etc? " We don't have any busy weekend" never looked up. Went to leave after a pleasant young girl rang me up .And I was stuck to the floor the floor had something spilled on it and my slide loafer was glued to it. Came home,chowder still a little warm,oh I needed this,again have been sick all week. First spoon salty but warm.Never found one piece of fish! Came here for lunch with friends on a sunny Thursday at 1pm and the place was virtually empty. The interior is neat and clean looking with a very casual rustic vibe. We started with the Baked Stuffed Clams and they were simply not good. The filling was dry and crumbly. Honestly, I couldn't even tell what I was eating and had to look back on the menu to verify the ingredients. I ordered the fish tacos with corn tortillas and mango salsa. The amount of fish on each taco was huge and it was really well seasoned and very crispy. They only gave me one corn tortilla per taco and everyone knows, when you have a taco with that much filling, you double up the corn tortillas. I needed a little something extra for the tacos so I asked for a creamy sauce of some kind and they rustled up a chipotle aioli for me. The sweet potato wedges that came with the tacos were lackluster and boring. My friends had the Dockside Salad and the Seafood Cobb Salad. I didn't get to taste either of them but the feedback was that the Dockside salad was very delicious and you can see from the picture that it's also more visually appealing. My other friend did not love the seafood Cobb salad nor the dressing that came with it. For dessert, I had the apple cobbler a la mode and it was very tasty. Not too sweet. Our waitress was perfectly adequate and that is all. It's located in a strip mall on a one way street in a weird parking lot. Really a 3.75 but we will round up for yelp. It wasn't very crowded the night we went which made us a tad nervous. However the service and the atmosphere put those fears to rest. My husband and I went to dockside based off of reviews and we were in the area visiting. We came right at 4pm (they switch over to dinner between 3-4pm) and it was only us. The owner herself, explained the menu to us. Lots of fresh seafood options to chose from. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Note: no liquor is sold here. We would definitely come back to visit ! My wife and I live in the area and drive by often, but never stopped in. When our usual place was offering takeout only, due to COVID, we decided to stop in here. The interior has a beach vibe, pretty comfortable and tables spaced reasonably well. Good variety of choices on the menu, mostly seafood-based and a specials board as well. We ordered mushroom soup and tuna bites as apps and seared tuna salad and scallops for entrees. Mushroom soup was very good but it would have been nice to have some mushroom pieces thrown in for texture instead of just purée. Tuna bites were good but a little greasy...the sauce and the seaweed salad that accompanied them were the best part. Scallops were excellent...medium sized , not huge, but there were seven of them - so a nice portion. The vegetable risotto that came with it was delicious...small pieces of veggies and good rich flavor, seasoned well. Prices are normal for this level of food-not cheap but expected...$28 for scallops. People were very nice, we will definitely be back to try some other menu items. read more

Cute place great service. Food overall was good. Prices are slightly higher than I think they should be for the area. Scallops needed seasoning and stuffed clams appetizer was not my favorite but the special of Asian calamari was delicious, appetizer of Cajun shrimp nachos didn't have enough flavor and seasoning to be considered Cajun. 6/19/2020 About 10 outdoor tables with adequate shade, at least after 5pm. Full menu is available and the food was really good. The Husband had crab cakes $24 and I had the wasabi Ahi Tuna $28. My family and I had dinner this past Sunday... we were first to arrive and seated right away.... To play safe we made reservations..... I am Not a seafood lover but the rest of my family is and since it was my husbands Birthday n he loves seafood we decided to go here for the first time..... Appetizers looked good, but I didn't eat them.... For the price I thought the amount was a little light..... We then had dinner..... they all had the Fisherman's platter n I had fried Cod...... it was Exceptional !! My fish had No fishy smell or taste...it was thick n White..... my family said the fisherman's platter was Amazing also !! For 4 adults n 1 child, plus 3 appetizers n 2 cans of soda, the bill was $200.99.... Plus tip..... it might have been a tad Expensive but We will Definitely go back again !! It would have been nice if they gave you some soft of fancy bread for the table n whipped butter....and that was included.....but there was nothing of the sort..... by the time we left the restaurant had mannnny customers plus there were some dining outside..... this restaurant is Delicious n they get Fresh Fish Daily.... If it wasn't there wouldn't have been the amount of customers that there was..... I had the enjoyment of eating the Spanish rice they serve there..... The food was great but the service was horrible. After being seated, it took forever for our waitress to come out with the menus. In the mean time, others were seated and a younger waitress came out with water and menus almost immediately. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, my wife ordered scallops and I ordered the fish tacos. The tacos comes with either salsa fresca or mango salsa. I asked if I may have one of each instead of the same for both tacos. Our waitress's tone on the request was very unpleasant and said they will have to charge you extra. I told her I'll just go with the mango. I understand if they have to charge extra but try to be a little more pleasant. We then noticed all the other tables had bread brought out to them but we didn't get any. Anyway, the calamari, scallops and tacos where good. But not once did our waitress come over to check on us to see if we need anything else or refill our drinks. Even with such terrible service, I still left her the standard 15% tip but I left a note on the receipt. I did read another recent review on here about terrible service with a waitress who's also the owner. If this is the same person, you are killing your business with your attitude and service. Even thought the food was great, we absolutely will not come back. I didn't give it one star since the food was decent. read more

It was a nice and quiet meal we came around 5 PM on a Saturday. We had an amazing coconut shrimp Kaiser that I absolutely recommend you will drink beer Thai coconut soup at the bottom. I had lobster bisque that could've been warmed longer. The crabcakes were excellent! Caesar salad with salmon the salmon was excellent but the Caesar salad was grilled romaine which left a burnt aftertaste. BYOB, good food and great conversation with a family-style atmosphere, what's not to like :-) All dishes are cooked to perfection, especially the seafood. The food was absolutely terrible The decor inside is nice .. outside Seating is nice too, but they need to get new chefs and new suppliers because the food was poor quality and the food did not taste fresh nor delicious. Started with seafood chowder, a Caesar salad unexpectedly presented grilled halves of romaine complimented with a creamy flavorful dressing. Our entree's were Red Snapper with a fresh garden salsa served over creamy risotto and a fresh sushi grade ahi tuna over jasmine rice and vegetables. Even though the food was pretty good, the waitress who I confirmed was one of the owners was the rudest and most unwelcoming person I have ever encountered in the restaurant business and practically anywhere. When I first arrived I asked where the bathroom was and she rolled her eyes. She was also serving us along with other younger waitresses who would buss the table and everyone seemed so unhappy. When i said thank you to the one of the girls who took my plate, she said yep? What the heck is that. The middle aged owner/waitress must be rubbing off on them, unless it was their daughter. I don't know. If this lady is reading this, if you hate your customers, it's time to find another business that you can love. Your attitude is horrible! Never, ever will I be back again!! Arrived just after they opened. Owner (I assume) and a small child were eating their Chinese takeout in the dining room. We sat and ordered soda and appetizers of PEI oysters and seafood chowder. Oysters were small and cold, served on ice. Nice presentation. Cocktail sauce had a funky aftertaste which spoiled the oysters. Either that, or the oysters were just not that good. Seafood chowder was sent back because it was salty and had a fishy taste. Not fresh. Dinner was also a disappointment. I had sushi grade tuna that was seared. The inside which should be bright red was an off red color. Was it old? Don't know. It was also tasteless. Rice was good. My companion had the fried seafood platter. Only thing that was passable was the shrimp. Stuffed crab, shrimp, scallops and cod were just not good. Everything here had an unpleasant under taste that spoiled the meal. Three large flies buzzing around our plates also didn't help! Also, I had to ask the owner to have the child use his indoor voice, he was talking very loudly and constant. He was a big distraction. Love this place! We first tried Dockside 3.5 years ago before we moved cross country, we went back today after having recently moved back and it's still just as good as we remembered! Heard about this spot and my boyfriend and I had to try it out! Dockside is a super cute casual seafood restaurant. The place was decorated in string lights, surfboards, and beach decor. One of the things we liked best about this place was that it was BYOB, so we brought a nice bottle with us. To start, we had their special fried calamari and clams in an Asian sesame glaze-- to die for. They should put it on their menu, that's how good it was. We also shared the mussels in white wine and garlic sauce, also delicious. For dinner, I had the scallops with the Asian vegetable medley which was amazing. Every entree came with two sides-- all looked very good. I'm trying to be good, so I got double veggie. My boyfriend has the Parmesan crusted Wolffish which was very good as well. Neither of us have ever had it, so it was fun to try. He had it with the steamed broccoli and sautéed kale with garlic.
