I wish we had taken the kids here (they were at the park) - very nice set up on the lake. The food was actually good and not crazy over priced! My husband had the local fish tacos and I had a burger (had had too many tacos lately) - it was good! Nice staff, lovely views and just chill

Terrific lunch spot on the water & at a marina. Service is fast & friendly. Fish tacos were tasty and the nachos were a great complement to share. They have a pretty full bar as well

Dockside Cafe is one of our summer go to places. It opens and closes with the summer season. It has a low key fibe. The food is always good, and the wait staff are friendly. You have Lake Erie for Ambiance. Remember what they say "Location, Lovation, Location".

Portions was amazing. Scenery and view was spectacular. Staff accommodating and helpful. Great experience for a place that has something for everyone, except booze on Sundays. I got the fish sandwich and it was more than I could bargain for. Couldn't close the bread around it. Four thick chunks or perch. Fries were fresh from the fryer. Easy to find and definitely worth the visit.

Nice fresh fish tacos, the pulled pork sandwich was surprisingly delicious like at a bbq joint

Sunset as viewed from our outside table.

We had a long wait once we ordered because the place was crowded. Enjoying the views were a nice way to pass the time and the food was delicious. The whole family said they were happy we found Dockside Cafe.

Food is a 7, view is a 9 and servers are an 8. There's sun or shade to sit in , especially after 6 when sun starts down. I was surprised some of the tables in the sun didn't have umbrellas. Prices were fair.

Beautiful views. Always a busy spot on the weekends. We tried the walleye tacos and nachos which were both decent. The drinks are fairly priced.

This was a lovely, quiet place to get lunch with beautiful views and delicious food at a reasonable price. It's a counter service restaurant with (covered) outdoor seating. There were lots of Canada Geese around the dining area, but they weren't disruptive. There were a few "bees" (yellow jackets?) which were more troublesome -- one even climbed into my son's Sprite! The location has a very nice view of the lake. You can see plenty of water, as well as Cedar Point. There were also lots of docked boats and a few people fishing while we waited for our food, which didn't take long to prepare. We ended up eating in our vehicle, because my son became very aware of the bees. There were only a few of them, and it's an outdoor location, so it wasn't something the restaurant did wrong. But, after one of the flying barb-butted insects invaded his beverage, he'd had enough. We also could have tried a different table -- it wasn't busy when we visited during an odd time -- but our closed, comfortable, vehicle also wasn't parked far from the restaurant. And, since I was now allowing people to eat in it, we opted for the a/c, radio, and rolled-up windows. The food was absolutely delicious! I wasn't expecting anything great -- we just wanted a quick lunch. But, this food was excellent! Everything was cooked to perfection, and had plenty of flavor. The staff at the location was also very nice. I highly recommend this Dockside Cafe!

We have stopped several other times, but it was always so busy that we left. I finally got to eat here today with a group of friends!! There are numerous outside tables with nice views. You order your food and then they either call your name or give you a buzzer. All run very efficiently. I had the chicken quesadillas, which had corn and beans inside, which is new for me, but I enjoyed it. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The views are great and the setting is nice. The only downside is the wind, which also causes trash to be flying around.

We dropped in for a light lunch that came with a view of Lake Erie. Average water temp 73 f, deepest spot 200 feet. Considered shallow. So You stand in line, give the order and announce your name. Goes pretty fast. You pick up and clear your own table. I chose Seared Ahi Tuna Tacos. Very good with avocado , lettuce and tomato and a hot sauce. "But" they serve it on a cold flour tortilla. Common east coast error.! It should be warm or hot. We had the hand cut fries to go with. Pretty good. And the house salad. Ranch dressing only. With lemonades. Perfect for a table in the sun. Seating is under a canopy or along the dock. Lots of guests, lots of boats going out to the lake. Very pleasant.

This super casual, waterfront place was just perfect for lunch after a fun morning at Cedar Point, before heading on our road trip home back to Texas. My daughter got the burger and said it was one of the best she's ever had. I got fish tacos - the fish was fine but the sauce on the tacos is what made it so special. And don't skip the fries!

    The view.

Great peach and walleye! There was a huge group there, but was worth the wait. Nice patio right on the water.

We came during peak dinner hours and waited ~20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad. The place isn't too large, and given how good the food is, I can see why there could be a wait. We decided on the jalapeno poppers (June special), onion rings, lemon pepper wings, and two burgers with fries (BBQ ranch jalapeno burger - June special, Hot N' Spicy burger) all to share. Plenty of food for 2 adults and 2 kids to share! We all agreed everything was delicious. The poppers come out super hot, so definitely wait a little to bite into them. Onion rings perfectly cooked and crispy. Wings were plump and had good lemon flavor to them. Both burgers were juicy, but of the two enjoyed the Hot N' Spicy more. Service is friendly and attentive. Parking is available in a small lot directly next to the restaurant or along the street.

She let us know what they were known for (wings and burgers and their rotating specials) and gave my indecisive mind plenty of time to figure out what I wanted. Everything sounded so good! We settled for the golden bbq wings and classic pretzel bites for appetizers. The wings were great and that sauce was delicious! Wish we could find something similar in Seattle. The pretzel bites were good but we were already getting full. He got the Uncle Charlie burger which he liked but said it was a bit messy. He also said the maple sauce on it was unique and a little overpowering. I built my own burger and kept it simple with mayo, lettuce, grilled onions and cheddar. It was really good but I wish I didn't get so full on appetizers so I could finish it. I really liked the pickles that they served as a garnish. A little sweet and spicy action going on. Also the fries are hot and crispy and some of my favorite I've had anywhere. I wish this gem was in Seattle. It seems like a great place to grab a seat at the bar and watch sports on their televisions. They also have some tables available if you want to sit there too. I also liked that one of the tv's showed pictures of their specials. I wish I could go back and try some of their other items. The wraps and sandwiches looked really tasty and I love the uniqueness of some of their combos. If you're in the area and want some delicious food served with a friendly smile, stop in. You won't be disappointed.
