I can't say I have ever been disappointed. This time, I ordered a large Snickers Blizzard. The rest of my party ordered lunch. The team member at the front counter was quick to take our order and was polite. Looking over the rest of the kitchen, it appeared the staff was adhering to all food safety and health standards. The restaurant was clean. It's hard to find another place with as much value as DQ. You get a lot of food for a little cost. The food and ice cream was out quickly and tasted great. The Blizzard was mixed perfectly and I was getting candy in just about every bite. Overall, this was a great experience and I plan to make one more stop here before I return home.

Since then, Dairy Queen as a whole has been displaced from the top of my list, first by Harvey's then by Burgermeester. (And now, the new and improved A&W has snuck past DQ into third place.) But still, if I'm looking for a burger and there's a DQ in the area, I'll go there more often than not. But, sadly, not this one. It's not actually bad, you understand. But it just kind of feels like they're phoning it in. I'd still take this DQ over, say, McDonald's. But it's just not as good as other DQs. (And, unfortunately, with Sheetz, Burger King, and Arby's all fairly close, it's just got too much competition for my taste buds.) We all ordered medium-sized ice cream cones and upgraded to the waffle cone for an additional 75 cents. I went with their New York Cheese Cake and Mint Oreo Fudge flavors. The NY Cheese Cake flavor was on top and was very creamy! I loved how the cherries were swirled in. The Mint Oreo Fudge was an excellent closer for my ice cream cone as it was fudgy with plenty of Oreo cookie pieces and the right amount of mint flavor. The medium-size was the perfect portion too, it left me plenty satisfied. I will admit the prices might seem a tad on the high side, but the ice cream was very good and I like to support local places when I can. Overall, The Sprinkle Cone scooped out a great experience with friendly customer service and quality hard ice cream. My mother-in-law went to place her order, and my father-in-law simply tried to help clarify it. The women working the counter was unbelievably and inappropriately rude to him. She spoke to him as if he were a child interrupting her. I was shocked, and at first thought she was joking. The five of us left without ice cream. Such a shame. I understand you're busy serving many families, but under no circumstances should staff be rude to customers. I'll also note this wasn't one of the young kids working. It was an adult who should have known better. I'd recommend going to the Bemus Point market instead, where the owner is always warm and welcoming to customers, as is the rest of the staff.
