Great food and great service make sure you try there old grandad wings some of the best that i have had in area

Service was great although we had made reservations days in advance, upon arrival no table had been set up for the 10 of us. Since the reservation was for early dinner we were able to get one. Food I had the Chicken Lip's salad with the Old Grand Dad sauce. If you have a salt problem, do not get that flavor, way too salty, even the salad had salt in it I think from salting the few french fried on it, I had the mixed greens. The chicken lips were over cooked as I have had them before. Ambiance, same as always. The good thing now you don't have to pay cash, you can use a credit or debit card right at table if you have apple pay or google pay or you can pay at counter. There is a fee for using your credit card. You can still pay cash if you like as well. One family member had a Philly cheese Steak sandwich that looked very dry when he opened it not much cheese, he put a lot of bbq sauce on it. Other than that, everyone seemed to enjoy their meals no one took anything home. I would eat there again, but have one member of party go early and save a table if you have a large group it was packed. by time we left. I would go again, just order something different. read more

I would have given a 0 star however not an option the service was horrible the lady that approached our table had no apologies for the food that arrived ice cold . instead she suggested that it is perfectly fine to serve food at ice cold temperature . Even though I requested my order not be re maid they did any way and demanded I pay for . the ownership should be ashamed of the food quality !!!!! I did pay for my food However I do intend to notify the health department due to additional safety concerns that I have proof my suggestion do not eat here they do not follow food safety guidelines read more

We had to stop in for the Old Grandad chicken lips! The prices were great, especially for the serving size, way more than I could eat but great heated up the next day! We had a large group other places couldn't accommodate on short notice but they happily moved tables around so we could sit together! The service was absolutely fantastic, very fun and quick to get anything we needed! We'll be back! read more

It's a dive bar without the quality or fun usually expected of a dive bar. The place generally attracts low rent, baseball cap wearing, NASCAR sporting, beer guzzling alcoholics late 20's to late 30's something guys with rotted teeth or over weight over bred women boozing it up on child support money. It has a couple dart boards, a couple pool tables and no real entertainment except for some obnoxious, jealous loudmouth boyfriend. However, to its credit the bar food is pretty darn good as is the wait service. Part of the problem may be that it is located in the Penn-Franklin area of Warren, a terribly run down depressed area of a run down depressed Appalachian town. read more

I heard they had the best "wings" in town. They absolutely do. I didn't compare them to anyone else's, but this place is 5 hours away from home, and I was in the mood for something deep fried and seasoned. If this place were local, I would pick this over chain wings places every single time. Please try their wings, that's an order, so make an order. But, FYI, cash only! read more

We were in the Warren area today and all of us were starving. Decided to stop by this little place after reading the reviews on here. Ate in the family dining area which is a clean, casual place. We brought our kids who are 3 and 5. Deep fried pickles to start and they were excellent. We got the grand dads wings and I can honestly say they were probably the best wings I've ever eaten. So flavorful, crunchy and a good size. Our server was super kind and right on top of things. Will definitely be back for more of those wings. Very pleased! read more

This place is a greasy spoon! The bar tender has a screw loose, when in this establishment we spent $90 at dinner and then went over to the bar side to talk to a friend. Some comments were made back and forth with another customer as she was leaving and the bar tender went crazy!! Started screaming to get out of the bar and we were trespassing called me all kinds of names!!! The bar tender could have composed herself way better, instead she made a scene all due to some words 2 customers had with each other. Apparently, the other customer is also a bar tender there so the girl working that evening took it personal for some reason. They have lost 4 customers for good now thanks to Krissy!! If your establishment has its own ATM, I'm guessing you need the profits from said ATM, which just makes this place feel even more run down. Welcome to 2018, where certain establishments are welcoming new technological ways to pay for your meals, except for here, where everything seemingly needs to be done in cash, which feels very prohibition to me. The food is really not that good, at all. If you are looking for a place for delicious food and a place that takes your card and not additional money from an ATM surcharge, go one door down into Ralphie's. Had dinner here last night. Ordered appetizers, which were deep fried. They arrived undercooked. Right after the took our appetizer order, we ordered dinners. Fish frys arrived looking done, but the batter was lacking. Looked cooked, but they weren't the least bit crispy. French fries on the side were still uncooked in the middle. Two got side salads - both with ranch, but one arrived with blue cheese. One was iceberg, the other was mixed greens - even though she never asked. Iceberg was bitter tasting. No silverware, had to wait on an order of fries they forgot. Found a different waitress to bring us silverware. Our waitress never came back to check on us or even apologize for the mistakes. read more

Not the best bar by any means but they have a sit down dine in area next door and food is pretty good.... They do have a pool table area upstairs that is pretty cool as well... If you plan to just hang out in the bar, unless you are from warren and comfortable with the locals, I wouldn't ! Unlike others that review on here and just bash warren, well it is a depressed town and running into the ground more and more every day, but it's still a decent down home type place where you can always look to your neighbor in need of help, and when hanging at any of the bars in this town you should have fun friendly conversation... read more

Old grandad wings and deep fried smores. Awesome! and cheap!

Over the years as a kid in high school i had always enjoyed the cornerstone. We would go there for wings alot. Then, recently, they started doing odd things like charge for waters. Ok, no biggie, we order out. Tonight we ordered out a supplementary side cause the kids wanted some cheese sticks. Those are nasty bad, but hey its friday. $7 dollars and some change later cheese sticks arrive. 4 cheese sticks to be exact. For $7 dollars. Wahhhhttheeefffffffff? A whole bag of cheese sticks of the same diameter and length at the Walmart can be had for 1/4 that cost. I feel like a dirtbag complaining about cheese sticks. Seriously....avoid this place if you plan to eat. read more
