A water manifold failed. My third-floor unit flooded from the HVAC closet. The HVAC system itself was ruined. The building's water had to be shut off -- impacting other residents and even retail below. It was one cascading mechanical failure after another. And yet -- from the first moment it happened -- I felt something unexpected: calm. Because they showed up. Ryaan immediately reached out, even though he wasn't on site, to tell me they were on it and they would not leave me until this was resolved. And they didn't. There was no disappearing, no defensiveness, no finger-pointing -- just ownership, urgency, and care. Joao, who was there when it happened, carried this project on his shoulders. What should have been a faucet swap became a four-day emergency reconstruction. Fabian responded in a very timely manner along with an hourly rate. I really appreciated the quick reply and the rate he provided because that is not the case with most contractors. We ended up going with someone else due to our time constraint but when I let Fabian know, he cordially accepted and still replied back to wish us the best and to call on him if there are future requests. Again, I appreciated this follow-up because not a lot of folks respond if the project doesn't move forward.
