He and a coworker came by today to take a look at the damage. They found that the problem was due to the lack of a drip edge, which caused the wood to rot over time, and the gutter to fill with water and partially collapse. The screws attaching the eave to the soffit, which had more severely collapsed, fell out due to the rotted wood. Because the needed repairs were more extensive than what initially seemed like a straightforward fix (per the photo I sent them), they recommended I contact a roofer to make the repairs. Rob and his coworker were both very helpful, honest, and a pleasure to work with. They did not charge me for coming out to my house or for the diagnosis. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if needed.

Again, I appreciated this follow-up because not a lot of folks respond if the project doesn't move forward. Jobs were fairly priced, not on the high or low end. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the above was the extent of my good experience with this company. We wanted to initially move forward with 2 jobs at our place, totaling about $9,000. Upon completion of these 2 jobs, we had another 2 bigger jobs coming in which, based on previous quotes, would have been about around $100K total. If our experience would have been good, we would have chosen them for these other 2 jobs. Unfortunately, this was our experience that made me waste 2 weeks of my time that I could have used to perform the work already: 1. When we told Tony we were ready to move forward and asked for a contract, he didn't have any templates to provide so I asked if he was OK with me drafting one. He agreed to it. 2. After spending time drafting a standard contract for both of our protection, indicating payment timelines, guarantees, proof of insurance, and work to be performed, we received a text saying he doesn't want to go through all this trouble. OK... I wouldn't do any job without licensed and fully insured contractors so, if they can't prove that, I don't move forward. Better safe than sorry! 3. Then I got another text apologizing and saying that they can take the job and just asked for a minor change in the contract before signing it, which was related to the payment. I made the change and I also offered him to provide any template he feels more comfortable with if there was any concern. He confirmed there were no other concerns or changes he wanted to make. 4. I sent him the updated draft to be signed, then he came back saying that the warranty request was "silly". I initially suggested 20 years because that's what other contractors offered. In order to make it work, I asked him what he feels is fair and feels comfortable with. At this point, his answer was that he doesn't want to go through all of this for a job. To date, I am still trying to figure out what was exactly the issue: do they have insurance? are they fully licensed? do they know how to perform the job I was asking for and feel confident with their workmanship? If the answer to all these questions is 'yes', then I do not understand the reason why they wouldn't want a contract for both, my and their protection. The only thing that comes to mind is that either of the questions above comes with 'no' for an answer, and/or they are choosing the jobs where they will make more profit. They made me waste 2 weeks of time and I now have to start over looking for a contractor, or just take a couple of days of and do it myself. With respect to the other $100K projects, I will look for a company where that provides a signed contract like any serious business.

He was quick to call me, send me an estimate and it made me believe he knew the mount. We scheduled the install and he showed up alone. During the install: - he installed the new mount upside down on the wall. He had to remove it and remount, leaving two extra holes on the wall that he tried to hide with the wall cover clips that come with the mount - he installed an optional swivel kit without asking, so the TV now swivels only in one direction - removing the old mount created a hole that was patched up poorly - the TV was not mounted level - the handle of the mount was not secured - I had to purchase a separate adapter for the soundbar. He said he'd come back to finish the job when the adapter would come in. Unfortunately, I did not realize the problems with the install before I sent him a payment. I then reached out to ask to patch the extra holes he created on the wall because of the mount flip and to remove the optional swivel plate he installed without asking. I asked if he could do it when he was supposed to come back to finish to install the soundbar. He agreed. The adapter for the soundbar came in and I sent him texts to schedule the install. Like other reviews pointed out, this is when the ghosting started. So I was left with a botched wall patch up, holes on the wall because an incompetent install, a TV that can swivel only in one direction and a soundbar adapter to install. I sent a chargeback for part of the payment on Venmo because of these issues and lack of response on his end. As quick as he was to ghost, he was also quick to call right after the chargeback. He lied about responding to my messages and threatened to beat me up. Do not work with this guy if you expect someone competent and reliable.
