Bill was AMAZING! We got a box spring stuck in our stairwell and punctured the drywall in the process. We called Bill and he arrived in about 2 hours. I was sure we were going to have to just demolish the box spring to get it out, but Bill was so confident that we could make it work. Within 15-20 minutes we got the box spring unstuck with direction from Bill!! He was definitely the hero of the day. Bill does all the odds and ends fix it sort of jobs in a place. He also does major construction, tiling, renovating, etc full time. But I am a petite person and not a fix it kinda gal. I used him to do minor tasks like hanging curtain rods, drilling holes into cement, mounting TV on the wall, etc. He was SOOO NICE, helpful and did a damn good sturdy & thorough job. He would let me know if something I wanted done would not be a good idea or if there was a better way to do it. He charges by the hour and is soooo cheap compared to anyone around in the Beacon Hill area. He doesn't chat away to get more $$$. He gets his job done, and gets out. read more

He said he'd call back on the weekend. I called him late Saturday, and he told me he'd call later that day. He never called back. Now I've wasted another week waiting for repairs. read more

We called Bill and he was able to get the job done at a very resonable price and he did a very good job! I would highly recommend him - he knows what he is doing and he is so nice! Bill is awesome! I called Bill and explained to him the trouble we were encountering with our closet doors on a Tuesday night and he came right out the next day to fix the doors. Bill seemed pleasant enough when speaking to him several times on the phone, yet plans never materialized. It appears he's too busy to accommodate the requests/arrangements made. First time I spoke with Bill he asked that I call back after a week so that we could then set up an appointment, which I did, but he proceeded to cancel the appointment the day of. At this stage, two or so weeks had passed since initial call so I informed him that I had to have picture frames up by a certain date. He agreed to come by later in the week, but then failed to respond to my follow-up inquiries and ultimately never got back to me. I called Mobile Handyman (http://mobilerealtyworks.com) and a guy came by that same day. While I think Mobile Handyman is pricier than Bill, they actually answer their phones and are reliable (also good work). Bill seemed friendly but failed to follow through. Spoke with Bill who was really friendly on the phone. We scheduled for him to come by the next day to hang some large pictures for us. He was due to come at 6pm. At 6:20, I texted him asking his ETA since he had not shown up or contacted me. He called five minutes later to tell me something came up and that he wouldn't be able to come. I was a bit frustrated as I had rescheduled my day to make sure that someone would be home and even confirmed with him the night before. He said meant to call earlier to cancel (he gave no excuse as to why he didn't). He asked if he could come the next day. When I asked him what time he responded with, "I don't know just call me after 4. My schedule changes on a day to day basis." I did not end up rescheduling with him as he did not seem to have any respect for other people's time. I cannot comment on how great his work is--just that he was not dependable.
