Someone in the community today picked up dozens of bags left on the ground around the station and placed in a trash bag. This is not the responsibility of the residents. Back in the summer sometimes a pile or two would be missed and that is perfectly understandable. In the past 4 or 5 visits they have done OK but missed a few piles. Today, as I watched on my Ring, they were here for just a few minutes, made a quick pass across the middle of the side and middle of the front yard , and were gone. They missed about 1/2 dozen piles as I walked my sidewalk and looked a foot from the edge of it. ...and that is without me walking the yard. It also saves $960/year minus about $50 for a good pooper scooper and bags that I am going to buy. The guy who called and handled my cancellation was absolutely great and super nice!

123Hoarding - Just moved in a bit ago, so this wall was move-in condition. That's a dog bed in the doorway.

Not good is right. Scheduled 1 week out. Called 22 minutes before supposed to arrive to tell me…read moretheir truck was broken, gonna come in their car. They confirmed address to me. Called 1 hour later to say they were "42 minutes away". Called 1 hour later to ask the address (they were at my neighbor's house). I had mouse poop in a shed to be cleaned & an attic to vacuum dirt/dust (had to move bins of clothes). Simple, shed looked OK, on to the attic. 1st complaining they didn't bring the extension for their vacuum so they can stand up straight (wanted to come back with attachment at a later date). They agree to do the work when they realize I'm gonna say to skip the attic, do the work (decent job, NOT QUICK), then they drop a Halloween decoration down my attic stairs, denting a door jamb & leaving black marks on the clean wall (rental). Now comes the arguing. He wants to fix it himself, wants me to look at pictures that show that his fix it guys are great (claims they built a winery), and says he doesn't want a mark on his insurance. So I say I want a professional to do it & they are a cleaning crew (just as I had hired them, as professionals, to do a job I probably could have done (hire professionals, mouse poop is dangerous). I say, let's estimate it and knock it off the price. Now the price is $150/hr for 3.5 hours. It was $125/hr on the phone, & the extra 1/2 hour was mostly them looking at the damage they did to my wall/door. I had $400 in my pocket ($375+a little extra, they are the company owners from original estimate). I say $400, he says $425 (estimated fix would be $100). I say $400, as the estimate I saw was $175. I just paid them to GTFO of my place, really. A week ago I needed a professional to do a job I'm not expert at. Now, $400 later, I need a professional to do a job I'm not expert at, so there's a feeling that I'd have been better off avoiding them altogether & just staying out of the shed.

He isn't putting much weight on the leg yet and it still can be tender. PPC scheduled a google conference call with me ($5 to avoid no shows) to get details on what he needs during a groom. I spoke with Melissa and let her know my concerns about putting weight on and to stress that the groomer needs to be gentle with his leg. She assured me everything will go at my dog' pace and even let me check him in at the front door as stairs can be difficult still. I went ahead and booked the appointment, and am so happy I did. Drop off was very easy and convenient for me to drop off early morning and go back home to take meetings. I picked up my dog a few hours later. He was clean, smelled great and was so happy! I received his report card later that evening and was pleasantly surprised to see how detailed it was and that 4 wonderful people were involved with the grooming. Especially thankful for the time it took to sand his toes on his bum leg!! My dog had such a great time there he was worn out the rest of the day. I know he can't wait to go back! Thanks so much Patrick's pet care, Melissa, Jerniece, Mea and Andrew for the great experience! Burrito loved it there!! I can't say enough good things about our first experience at Patrick's Pet Care!

She smelled great, had her nails trimmed and had the cutest bandana on! Great to have a spot in Brookland. A little pricey but knowing the staff is taking their time and being gentle with a shy pup is worth it! Will definitely be sending our little girl back!
