These were the worst tasting Donuts I eber had. The Glazed had salt in it in excess. My stomach hurt just from a small bite. Omg lol.

This location was okay... After having a really cool experience in Orange when we met up with Tim and Hannah, we saw that we had a closer location. I decided that I wanted to try the snickers bar donut this time and we headed off! We arrived... location wasn't in as nice of an area... as expected in this part. We walk in.... no snickers bar... No oreo eclairs.... No crestnuts.... No nutella items... Blah. :( My husband and I both got chocolate bars (which were good, but can be found anywhere). I also got the chocolate donut with peanuts (again, anywhere). Husband got an apple fritter which was huge and fairly cheap too. (that one was a plus). So I am guessing that the Orange location is special and I am going to have to go there to try these other unique and delicious looking items. Now to add to it.... no fault of theirs... but this did not add to my experience. A man who didn't speak English, I'm not sure which ethnicity he was, but he was asking for money, and not in a polite way. He was walking right up to people and shoving a sign in their faces, and then got to the point where he was pressing the sign against the window as people were getting money out of the ATM inside. He then did it to a young guy who got really irritated and told him to "F off". He then opened the door to start calling at my husband for money. We ignored him. He said the sign was in several languages. The younger guy told him again to "F off". The man then came inside and started pointing at him where the guy replied to get out of his face and that he was going about this in the wrong way and again to F off. The man got mad and walked off. Now I am blessed to have an income coming in even though it isn't enough, and I feel for people who don't have money coming in, and I try to help where I can. But going about it in this way can really irritate me, especially when it comes to them harassing and shoving stuff in your face. So all in all.... service was friendly with the workers, donuts were good, but there isn't anything special jumping out that will have me coming out of my way to come back. read more

This is the 2nd DK's Donuts location we have tried over the past couple of weeks and although the donuts and pastries are good, they lack the variety and special items found at the location in Orange. After trying the Orange location we had our hearts set on attempting some new flavors of Cronuts and Eclairs from this location as it is closer to home. When we walked in and found that they did not carry these items I got that sinking feeling in my stomach that we made a mistake by not going to the other. I ordered a chocolate bar along with a apple fritter, the latter of which is huge and very affordable. The prices are good and they both tasted good but it just wasn't what we came for. I do like the fact that they have sufficient parking and a larger indoor seating area. The Orange location was lacking in both of these areas as they had only a small lot and just a few tables outside (no inside). The major flaw here was the handling of panhandlers outside their establishment. We continuously had a gentleman who we assume was homeless looking for handouts however instead of asking politely he would simply walk up and hold his sign to the window. He eventually tried opening the door and calling to me senor, senor to which I didn't respond. I know these situations can be tough to handle at times but I truly feel the workers should have at least made a conscious effort to get the situation taken care of. He even walked in and got in the face of another patron who was ordering after numerous previous attempts and being told to go away. This situation could have ended badly and really needed to be defused. This location is affordable, serves a good array of basic donuts and pastries such as bear claws, cinnamon roles and fritters but lacks the specialty items of other locations. I probably wont be back to this location unless I happen to have a very bad craving for donuts and am near but there are far better options in the area. read more

One of the best apple fritters I've ever eaten. I typically get 'em at this little shop in Berkeley for $2.25, but they're only $1.25 here! INSANE! It's giant and not as oily as other ones I've tried. I wanted to take a box of them back to SF with me! Would have given this place 5 stars, but the old fashioned chocolate doughnut was just okay. It didn't have that crisp edge that I like and it actually didn't have a hole in it...I don't know what was goin' on there. It was in the shape of a squat little maple bar and it was kinda dense, but the doughnut itself did have this nice vanilla kind of flavor. Seems like the locals go there. Note: each DK is independently owned! I heard that DK's in Orange was giving out a free doughnut for National Doughnut Day, and was close to this DK's. Stopped in to ask them if they were doing the same, but the server said no. :( This feels like a regular doughnut place. The selection is similar to what you'd find in any small traditional doughnut shop. Got a chocolate cake doughnut. It was fine...not great, but decent. They also have a pretty limited selection of cake doughnuts. Overall, I was kind of disappointed - it's just your average doughnut shop. read more

I never write a review to any business but this donut place I had a very bad experience, it just drive me crazy. I was there today the only ladys there was stole my money I Purchase a coke and one donut that cost me $2.50 I gave her 20 dollar bill plus 50c she gave me $3 change I told her I gave you 20 dollar bill why you gave me only, $3 she told me that I gave her only 5 dollar bill I was like oh wow this lady..... we ended fighting I told her then pull up the camera she said there's no camera then I left so angry..... Obsessed with their breakfast items! I'm vegetarian and the guy up front remembers and makes sure my items are 100% vegetarian. (Not Vegan, vegetarian). Everyone that works there is so nice and polite! And the coffee and Thai tea is to die for! read more

What more can be said about your ordinary donut joint? The donuts here are pretty good. I do enjoy their orange and blueberry donuts so I make sure to get those each visit. I don't talk care for the maple bars...I have had better. Good thing is this place opens at the butt crack a dawn and hardly busy when I go at that the during the week. Owner is friendly also. Ran in to this place on accident the other day. Overall it is just a two star place. The apple fritters here are large and in charge which is no doubt a plus, but they lacked the apple factor. Gotta have apples if you are going to have an apple fritter. The chocolate chocolate was ok. A bit on the dry side, but the frosting was very sweet and helped the rest of the donut. Nothing else really looked too splendid besides another infamous blueberry donut. Although not fresh, the outside was crispy and the inside fluffy and sweet. Walking my friend to his car tonight I saw some of the freshest and tastiest donuts. It's in the window so I stopped in. Immediately greeted by a smiling woman talking on her phone, I presumed she was gonna ignore me but oh how she shocked me by reading my face alone and grabbing the fat chocolate glazed donut I was ogling and bagging it for me. This spot totally played me! I was craving Jalapeno Ham & Cheese Croissants so I wanted to try a new local spot since the usual spot I go to is really far from home. So, I called the owner of DK's Donuts to ask PRIOR to my arrival if they had Jalapeno Donuts ( comparable to the ones at Seaside Bakery in Newport Beach ). I clearly asked if the croissants had the Jalapenos inside cooked with the ham and cheese and she said YES.. so I went out of my way to drive here to give them a try, and when I show up she tells me she has canned jalapenos she can give to me on the side if I'd like, with my normal ham and cheese croissant. She literally put them on a lid of a coffee cup and asked if I wanted them like that, fresh out of the can... sigh, I was so disappointed but felt so bad so I ended up buying a regular ham and cheese croissant anyways without jalapenos -___- It had a terrible ham/cheese to bread ratio, way way too much bread and it was super dry/bland. They will even give out some free donuts if you buy a dozen. If you come in the morning, the donuts are fresh and warm. we dropped by here after our monthly run of 99 ranch market snacks of shrimp chips and thai teas..donuts had to be on our menu for an all out snackfest and movie night. we were greeted by a friendly lady who gave us FREE DONUTS!! i'm sure it was because it was already evening time, but my husband swears it was the smile he flashed at her. we got a dozen donut holes for less than $2, two old fashioned chocolates, and chocolate on chocolate. you can always judge a good donut shop on those all time classics. the donuts were really fluffy and delicious. although you could hardly tell because we inhaled all the holes in the car before arriving home. definitely coming by here on our next trip to anaheim. read more

The donuts at this place never look fresh, and the old lady that works here always charges me (touches the money) and then grabs my donuts (gross). She always seems to be in a bad mood and makes me rush in deciding what i want, and if she feels im taking too long to decide she decides for me. Employees were super kind and helpful, letting us take our time to figure out what we want (we changed our mind a few times). We ended up getting a cheese and ham croissant was absolutely amazing! I've been coming here for years and this is still my favorite spot for donuts in Anaheim/Fullerton. The staff here is really friendly to their customers and they do a good job keeping the place clean. The donuts and the food in general are quality - they're never too glazed or too greasy, and they're really addictive. My friends and I usually pick up some of their ham & cheese croissants before a night of drinking so they'll be waiting for us when we get back home. Every other donut shop we've tried never compared. I plan to keep coming back here for a very long time. read more

Horrible customer service. The Asian lady that works there was rude and too anal about parking your car on the line in the parking space. Her repeatedly pulling in and out of one of the parking spaces, forced me to pull into a space crooked because I HAD NO CLUE WHAT THIS LADY WAS TRYING TO DO! She almost took me out of character by staring at me very disrespectfully. She then started talking to me about my parking over the line but it was only due to HER NOT KNOWING HOW TO PARK IN THE FIRST PLACE! Their donut selection leaves VERY MUCH TO BE DESIRED. Every donut I tried since I've been coming here ends up leaving a bad aftertaste. The donuts also DO NOT LOOK FRESH and neither is the COFFEE.
