Such a cute gift shop and home goods / clothing store in Camarillo. I love a thriving local…read morebusiness that isn't a chain and gives the community a little sparkle. Came into Lindy Loops looking for a birthday gift for a friend. While I didn't find the exact gift for her I was thrilled to see so much cute stuff here. The two gals working here were super nice and welcoming. They offered to help me if needed and just made the shopping experience A+ by how friendly and attentive they were when I did have questions. This store has a little bit of everything. Home goods - like candles, blankets and pillows. Clothing primarily for women. Also jewelry, bags and hats. The store is bigger then it looks from the outside. I really enjoyed looking around and seeing all of the cute little treasures they have. The owners informed me that they will soon be moving just across the street so make sure to keep a lookout for that. Sounded like they could be moving in a month? Right now they are located in the shopping center in Camarillo by Yolanda's. They will hop right across to the center with the Ralph's. It's really nice to have a cute gift shop in Camarillo and they've been open a few years now. Definitely go support if you can. I know I'll come back to look around again soon.

If there is a perfect gift shop in Camarillo, then Lindy Loops is it. I have had the pleasure to…read moresee it evolve from pop-ups up and down Ventura County to a sweet little storefront to now another beautiful (seemingly larger) storefront next to Ralph's. From handmade knitted and resin items (blankets, scarves, coasters, trays, etc.) to goods from other local and talented businesses (books, candles--the assortment is amazing, clothing), it has all that I need for gifts, souvenirs, and happily, treats for myself! I've even bought a children's book and baby toys here. Pricing is affordable. The things that are on the more expensive end are reasonably so due to the craftsmanship of the product and the quality. Love watching their journey unfold and supporting such a thoughtfully designed and adorable shop. I highly recommend!

I have mixed feelings about this place. Let me explain:…read more Some context: I mainly play Magic: The Gathering (MTG), so I stop by from time to time to pick up singles. Their singles and accessories are fairly priced, but their sealed product is definitely overpriced. As for playing in-store, it's hit or miss. Fridays are especially uncomfortable, but on other days, the environment is a bit more tolerable. Regarding the staff: From my interactions, it's clear some of the staff may be on the autism spectrum. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, I have family members who are autistic or have Asperger's, so I recognize some of the traits. That said, it can make interactions feel a little different. They sometimes miss social cues, which can make conversations feel awkward or even make you feel like you're a "bother," as other reviews have pointed out. Personally, I don't take offense to this. it's just part of who they are. Game selection and store focus: This place is heavily invested in MTG. If you're looking for Magic singles or accessories, you'll likely find what you need. However, don't expect a wide variety of other games. Despite the name "+EV Games," their offerings are very limited outside of Magic. I've seen a small selection of Pokémon and Lorcana, but nothing extensive. You won't find video games, board games, or many other trading card games here. Friday night experience: I've tried playing here a few times on a Friday night, and each time it was way too crowded. With the doors shut, it becomes hot, musty, and stuffy. The seating is also uncomfortable, the tables are lined up side-by-side like a cafeteria, which puts you shoulder-to-shoulder with players from other groups. There's no sense of personal space, and it makes for an unpleasant experience. It seems like they prioritize cramming in as many people as possible over player comfort. This isn't just my opinion; I've heard the same complaint from friends and other players at various LGSs. Even on less crowded days, the air inside can feel stale due to poor ventilation. I get that running the AC constantly can be expensive, but simply keeping a door open could go a long way in improving airflow and player comfort. Other concerns: I've heard from others that the owner becomes upset if you mention or wear branding from other game stores while inside. I haven't personally witnessed this, but it seems odd and unnecessary. In my experience, other stores don't have this issue. It feels like an insecurity or a personal trigger, but it also comes off as unwelcoming and even controlling. Everyone should be able to talk freely about their hobbies and experiences without fear of being kicked out. Final thoughts: If you're a Magic player and need singles or accessories in a pinch, this place is solid for that. They've got a good selection, and prices on those items are reasonable. But as far as playing here, if you don't mind a cramped, stuffy environment, then it might work for you. Personally, I think there's a lot of room for improvement. With some thoughtful changes, like more space between tables and better ventilation, this could be a top-tier LGS. Until then, it's just okay.

Thanks to my buying a Fossil watch that didn't quite fit, I called the Fossil store closest to…read morewhere I live (Camarillo) to ask about adding a link or two. They told me there's an onsite watch technician at this Camarillo outlet, so I went there to have the links added. Lo and behold, I walked into this amazing store, actually TWO stores, filled with a plethora of watches. One store is all things Fossil, so that includes much more than watches, too, like handbags, wallets, other jewelry. Honestly, I didn't even pay attention to much else because I was focused on getting the watch links added. However, one of the female salespersons walked over to me and noticed the watch I had. She immediately and correctly identified it by the specific name that Fossil had assigned it ("Raquel"), and she and I began discussing it. One thing led to another, and she mentioned how it looked just a Michele watch. We then embarked on a Michele discussion because I LOVE those watches... just can't afford them. Then she said it... they OFTEN have sales on Michele watches... BIG sales. Like 60% off. Sometimes more. WHAAAAAAAT ???? Then she dragged me into another store, which anyone could get to from inside of Fossil..... called Watch Station International. In there is every OTHER watch known to mankind..... well, no, that's not true, but many brands are certainly there, and MICHELE happens to be ONE of them. OMG, be still my heart. Great salesperson as this woman was, she walked me over to the Michele watches, and to be honest, I had never seen them in person before today. All my viewings were online, and I was in love with just the style of them. I figured, who needs real diamonds. So many of the watches have Swarovski crystals or other beautiful rhinestones, so who needs to pay for real diamonds? Welllllll, now that I've seen these watches in person, I won't say that any longer. They were even more gorgeous than I had envisioned... and yes, the diamonds make them worth every penny. And to think, for whatever their reason is, this store will discount them to unbelievably low prices. Wowwwwww !!!! And NO, I did not buy a Michele watch today. However, as the saying goes, never say never.

Great store with a huge selection of different name brand watches. The Name brands available are:…read moreMichael Kors, Armani Exchange, Diesel, Fossil, Marc Jacobs and Adidas. They also sell Michael Kors jewelry, with pieces ranging from $30-$100 dollars and that's up to 50% off the original price. Customer service is hit or miss here. Sometimes someone really knowledgable is working, if not you find someone who really doesn't care what you need and is only there for a paycheck or employee discount. Regardless of the inconsistent customer service, I will continue to come here because the selection is great and they do complimentary watch fittings when you buy the watch. *Just a note: when you buy a name brand watch here, expect to pay $6 if you want the box your watch arrived in-Otherwise you get a generic Watch Station box.
