My acne went full throttle as if I was 16 years old again and I desperately wanted to clear it up. I have struggled with adult acne in the past and have been on Accutane, which temporarily cleared up my skin. Accutane, however has a ton of side effects that include extremely dry skin, anxiety, and depression. I felt every one of those side effects for the 6 months that I was on it and did not want to relive that time in my life. I found that Spark Med Spa had great reviews on yelp and I am so glad I tried them out. Lana and Sasha are amazing!!! During my initial appointment I told them every therapy and regimen I had tried for my skin. They listened and carefully examined my face and discussed all my options. I started my first Laser Genesis treatment in April and received them consistently every 2-3 weeks. My skin has cleared up dramatically and I am so happy I don't have to wear an ounce of foundation on my skin to cover up any blemishes ever again! I've attached pictures for the proof. My follow up appointments with Dr Belasco were positive experiences. He answered all my questions with good detail , never rushed me and seemed to really care about my recovery. Showed compassion and empathy for me when I was in pain. I also always get timely call backs from the nurses/ surgery coordinator's when I need assistance .

I said did you say 2-3 hours? And she said yeah ... then the other desk admin employee said yeah it's not unusual to wait for appointments for 2-3 hours sir. I said both of you have to be kidding. I said I want to talk to an office manager and they said she wasn't there and I said I will just stand here until someone comes and explains to me why I will be waiting 2-3 hours for an appointment I Made months ago. After another 20 minutes my dr comes out and she looks irritated doesn't greet me and says "come back with me" I said no I want to talk about this out here. I said why do you have staff telling people it will be a 2-3 hour wait for a scheduled appointment and she said I can't come in here and snap my fingers I said what is the reasonable time to wait for an appointment? 15, 20, 30 minutes? fine, but not 2-3 hours that tells me you double or triple booked me in and now I have to spend half a day to be seen that's not ok. She said I was told when I booked the appointment it could take that long to be seen and I asked where in the documents I signed does it say that and I would not have made the appointment if that had been said upfront. I said I do not have a personal problem with anyone there but that their policy of doing this to someone is not ok and they either need to actually tell me people up front or see people in a reasonable time. I did not keep the appointment.

I did microblading, and a customized 1-hour facial with pore extractions (using a lancet) and was fairly pleased with the results, though I expected a bit more for what I spent and for what was promised. Lora had hyped up the procedure and results and I felt as though more could have been done. I was slightly concerned about her use of very vague terms and questioned her expertise. However, the results are what matter and she is a lovely woman. They could really better identify the Highland Park location; I had trouble finding it since she operates in the back room of a nail salon. Also, she is not very punctual, so err on the side of caution and plan a longer visit.
