Please note "Oh Michael helped us with our insurance claim" (but no real explanation of services provided) "Michael didnt damage anything" - Well, clearly you're covering up for something there! We are 8 months in and needed to call the police to document all the damage this company has done to our property. What started out as a $30k estimate for a kitchen renovation - is now at $80,000+. You want to know why? Michael will sell you a new kitchen, but it's all bait and switch. Once you think the project is paid for, you realize he may have charged you $5,000 for a new ceiling, but that was only the REMOVAL of the sheetrock - and now he wants another $5,000 to replace it! BBC's fees have been three times what we've been quoted elsewhere. We were told two old windows were a custom size, they needed to be special ordered - would take 5-7 weeks to come in and cost $4,700. Three days later we had a window company come by and say "No those aren't custom, we can have them here in 10 days" And what was the cost?? $1,700 - THREE THOUSAND less, for two windows!!?? Why was he charging us almost FIVE GRAND and LYING that they were special order??? We have had a plumber come and tell us the $1200 (3 ft) gas line they did was made from a bunch of pipe and fittings from Home Depot - they didn't even give us a nice continuous gas line. Everything needs to be redone!!! They show up one day a week, IF THAT. In 8 months, they have taken 114 (BUSINESS DAYS) OFF! So do the math, thats an average of 5-9 actually days of work PER MONTH. The final straw was Michael telling us unless we paid 90% of our final payment (when the work hasn't even been done and HE owes US money) that he would not be refinishing our floors that BBC DAMAGED!!!!! Please see these photos, they never covered our gorgeous original 1925 hardwood floors and dumped all their stuff on it without a care in the world! Throughout this entire process every time we would mention BBC to our close friends and family - they would be shocked and appalled at the kind of mess we were in. There is no way this company will remain in business for the foreseeable future with these tactics. Also check Angie's List for other bad reviews - don't believe what you see on here.

From the beginning, I was impressed by how engaged and knowledgeable the owner was. He took the time to discuss the work, offer recommendations, and explain the best approach for each part of the project. The team was professional, kept the work area clean, and made sure no mess was left behind at the end of each day. They answered all of my questions throughout the project and were honest and transparent about timelines and project completion expectations. While many contractors can perform masonry work, I appreciated that GNC specializes in it. Their expertise was evident in both their craftsmanship and attention to detail. The quality of the finished work was phenomenal, and the results exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend GNC to anyone looking for skilled, reliable masonry professionals who take pride in their work.

The owner may or may not interject with an unrelated story about all his losses to get your pity…read more This man came to my home and spent 2 hours making me wish he would leave before eventually asking him to please leave. He answered my door when someone came, acting way too familiar. He then showed the person who showed up around and I heard him talking about me behind my back when he was in my backyard. He also tried hugging me at the end which I refused. People working for him called several times, acting all "familiar" with me, telling me I would get them to work on it, from the first call. I decide who I hire, it was very assumptive. The owner has behavior patterns that is disturbing. Other things were said/done that made me very uncomfortable. I'd suggest choosing someone(anyone!) else which is what I did. This man will be condescending, name drop, and violate your boundaries.
