On our walk to the restaurant I thought I was going to, we stopped inside Songbird to "find out party information". I was led back to the large back room which was dark and quiet. It was opened for me, the lights were turned on and about 40 of family members and friends that I love yelled SURPRISE!!! For about the next 3 hours, there was singing, laughing, speeches, cake and to be honest, one of my favorite nights of my life. Thank you Songbird for being a big part of this wonderful celebration!

Had the opportunity to meet the owner, very engaging and down to earth. I would highly recommend the Empire Burger with fries! My happy hour drink was their signature tequila with mixed juice! Very on point therefore I had to order another one! The bill was under $25. The guests that I had invited to meet me were more than elated with their experience there! They even talked about coming back again and again. Restroom only one for either males or females but it's not a lot of foot traffic and from the looks of it when using, pretty much clean and fully stocked. Has a Pool table and ample amount of seating.

This place sits on familiar ground. Years back, it was a Fuddruckers--one of those concepts that…read morewas a little ahead of its time and is still missed around here. Big burgers. Simple fun. Good memories. So I'll admit it: I walked in with low expectations. My wife dropped me off while she went shopping. Word-of-mouth hadn't exactly sold me. It was freezing outside, and I figured I'd just kill some time. Turns out, I was wrong. The beer selection is huge. Not just long for the sake of being long, but a tap list that actually makes you pause and think about what you're ordering. That alone already puts this place on solid footing. Because of the cold, I kept it simple and ordered soup--and it was very, very good. Hot, comforting, and done right. No gimmicks. Just solid food when you need it most. House of Brews didn't just fill the space left behind--it improved it. I went in expecting not much and left pleasantly surprised. That's always a good sign.

Chris is FANTASTIC…read more We had seen him DJing at a local bar and when it came time to plan our wedding we just knew that he would be perfect at making our special night amazing. We asked Chris to be our wedding DJ and also to run karaoke for our guests during the reception. Our coordinator specifically mentioned to us how well organized he was and she mentioned that she especially hoped to work with him again. In addition to the complements from our other vendors on his professionalism, we can honestly say that his work as our DJ & running karaoke is something that created some of our most special memories from our best day ever... from a close friend serenading us at the start of our reception, to a cousin that I haven't seen in years absolutely tearing up the stage, to friends and family just having a great time cutting up the dance floor and cheering each other on as everyone performed and had a great time Chris is guaranteed to make your next event special. And if you are even remotely considering having karaoke at your wedding DO IT! Chris encouraged our guests to pick songs that kept the dance/party vibe going all night & expertly facilitated the sound for the rest of our day. Hire Chris!!! You will be so so glad that you did! :)

It was my first visit, but my friend had been there before and liked the food. We tried the burgers and onion rings, and I would definitely suggest ordering the onion rings if you visit... They were delicious. The service was fine, and with that I mean, she came to our table, took our order, we waited quite a while, she brought out our food, and that was the end of our service. No small talk, didn't come back to see if we were OK, no drink refills, so we felt she was there to do a job and go home. So overall, the food was good, but we didn't feel entirely welcome...

They had awesome live music, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe made me feel right at home. The place was loud in the best way--fun, energetic, and full of character. The food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, the cocktails had stiff pours, and the beer was cheap and ice cold. Exactly what you want from a neighborhood bar. Live music playing, heaters on for these cold winter days, drinks flowing -- all in their brand new back patio that reminds me of a rustic ski lodge. We tried their wood-fired pizza. The Hott Nott with hot pepperoni had the perfect kick, and the plain pie was simple but done really well. We got the disco fries made with Guinness sauce which are as good as it sounds. So saucy and cheesy. Then we had their signature wings -- we did buffalo and BBQ -- perfectly crispy and saucy in all the right ways. And you can't skip the cowboy burger -- juicy, messy, and absolutely worth it. Between the food, live music, and cozy pub vibes, plus also the attentive and warm staff, Nottingham Tavern is one of those places you instantly want to come back to.
