Was in earlier with a friend for the Friday night fish fry. I went with the all you can eat as I was hungry with salad, fried okra and French fries with brown gravy. Everything was cooked great. Seasoned well. The buttermilk ranch is homemade and awesome. Only thing tht would make the French fries and gravy better would be some cheese curds but oh well. Just a small town diner and the servers are great. read more

I have driven past this diner hundreds of times, and it is always busy, but I have never tried it. We went on Sunday for a late lunch, and it was busy, but we were seated immediately. The menu is extensive, but I chose my usual diner fare-chicken fried steak. It was very good. My husband and son also enjoyed their meals. Serving sizes were plentiful and service was friendly. Overall, a good experience and I would return again. read more

Ima be EXTREMELY honest the Dixie diner is a nice friendly place with EXTREMELY good food 100% recomend

Food, services, atmosphere all excellent, have eaten there and its other location many times !

It is indeed a greasy spoon. Terrible food, lack of professionalism in dress or preparation. Stay away. read more

Service was good, food took a little bit to come out but was really tasty. I enjoyed not having to go all the way to fair to get a Indian taco! It was actually better than the fair. Lots of desserts in the display near the register. Planning to try some when I return. read more

I'd give a zero if I could. I ordered the roast beef dinner. When it came out, I swear it was cooked yesterday and sat under a light all day today. The gravy had 1/2 inch of film on it. All that was inedible. Mash potato's had the same dried film gravy. Green beans were average at best. The yeast roll was the only thing that I enjoyed. The service was slow and the diner was loud. read more

Dixie Diner - Old fashioned counter sitting. - Diners Near Me - Nicoma Park, Oklahoma

This is a quintessential small town diner. I love to go there! The customers and the staff are always friendly, and we're new to town! The specials are a great value and consistently tasty. The Chicken and Dumplings are divine! The chicken fried steak is freshly prepared and always a good choice. The pies are good...I love the coconut cream pie! The cakes are a little hit and miss. Overall, I highly recommend this diner! read more

Their quality has gone down, great service, food is ok, just not as good as it used to be. Cutting corners and higher prices

I grew up 2 streets north of Dixie Diner and may have been a fan for LIFE. Today I brought my significant other to Dixie Diner after a doctors appointment. Totally brings me serotonin thinking back to my childhood when my grandpa would take me to the doctor then we'd stop by Dixie Diner for cake/pie, etc. honestly I never thought to review this place until today being here in person again. read more

No. This is a dive. Very small dining room and tables are too close together. The workers look like they just got released from prison. Patty melt was ok. Onion rings were terrible. German chocolate cake was burned. Service was ok, but not great. WAY overpriced!!!!!! read more

Delish breakfast! All the staff seems helpful and nice! Quick service. My kids prefer it to any other place they can get breakfast

What a great breakfast! I left so full! I had some really good homestyle biscuits with gravy with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and a pancake! So very much food but man was it worth it! The prices are so low and the service is wonderful. It really is like stepping back in time to a place and time where people know you and are happy you are there. It is a small town feel with homecooking flavor! read more

Had breakfast and it was great! We will be back. They are busy but service is good, friendly and quick. The staff help each other out and it makes for a great experience. Drinks were never empty. They serve breakfast all day and are open 6 am-9pm 7 days a week. We had omelettes and they were delicious and had a lot of filling. Anxious to try the fried pickles sometime. read more

Took the drive over to Nicoma Park to get some breakfast at a new spot to us. We are leery at times trying new places as we've been disappointed on more than one occasion. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff is very friendly. Many options for breakfast. We settled on the pick 2 for terry and I got the bacon and cheese omelette. Terry's meal had 4 sausage links, two over medium eggs and a ginormous waffle. Mine came with hash browns and a biscuit and gravy. The meal was great. It was be far one of the better places foodwise. It ranks up there in my top 5 I think. We will be making this a regular on our Sunday morning breakfasts. read more

We love this little greasy spoon in eastern Oklahoma County! The food it outstanding (try the catfish!); the service is always genuinely friendly. Is it in a posh part of town? Uh, nooooooooo. But is the chow damn good? Damn skippy. read more

Simple and affordable. A throwback to your traditional 80s and 90s diner feel. Prices are stuck in the 90s too!! Haha. Shouldn't cost $15-20 for a simple breakfast. I was able to get an egg, hashbrowns, and toast for $6.39, can't beat it. Delicious!! read more

Down home goodness right here. I think everybody needs a Diner like this in their life- not too flashy as the great diners tend to be. And food that's bound to take you by a pleasant surprise read more

Small diner with a lot of personality. Wait staff is awesome, menu selection is ok, food good, and prices pretty decent. They purportedly have WiFi, but good luck getting connected with your phone ("can't obtain an IP address" error is the norm). Wife and I go there quite a bit, and like it. read more

I liked the place until it was time to check out and they overcharged me and another person. I ordered a meal that was $9.38 on my ticket, they rang up $10.79 on the register and then I was charged $11.11. The person before me, their order was $39 and some change (we added her ticket up ourselves) and she was charged $47.11. When you go to check to out they take your ticket and don't give it back (purposely I'm assuming). We confronted them and they proceeded to read off the items on the ticket but not the prices and wouldn't recalculate what was on the original ticket but only showing what was rang up on the register. They're over charging by telling you the price is one thing then ringing it up as another on their register. Before we left she asked me if I wanted a receipt and I said yes and she proceeded to hand me the merchant receipt and tell me to sign it without giving me my actual receipt. Very disappointing, I wanted to come back but it's not worth being overcharged and then the servers trying to loudly accuse you of being wrong when you confront them. We did the math ourselves multiple times but for some reason on their register it's $8 more than what was written on the ticket. Then for them to overcharge me after we had just confronted them for overcharging another... not a good look for that business. I wonder if the owner realizes what their servers are doing? I don't know if they overcharged us because we're not from around there or what but definitely won't be going back. read more

I haven't eaten here for 2 years now, after finding a Man's finger nail in my chef salad

This is a great example of Americana. I was visiting my in-laws in Oklahoma they took me to the Dixie Diner. Even though it was really busy, the staff made sure we were taken care of from the moment we walked in the door. I asked about one of the menu items and my server have her honest opinion- always appreciated. I ordered the chili with onions and was happy with my selection. The service was great and I was appreciative of the to-go cup on my coffee refill. Can't wait to go back! read more

The service was awful, the food was horrible. Chicken fried chicken and the potatoes tasted like they add vinegar. Price was high. They didn't adjust the price after saying something. Will not go back. Back in the day, it was a good place to go. read more

It's a hit or Miss on the food. The wait staff is extremely nice. The deserts are home made.

I'm a transplant here and I can't believe I haven't been here this whole time. I wanted a good biscuits and gravy and I believe if you can make good biscuits and gravy then you will have good food. I love their biscuits and gravy. You get a lot for the price and good sides, I've found a new weekend tradition now for breakfast on Saturdays and I'll be looking at their specials during the week. Love the place! The service is phenominal and you never have to ask for a refill of coffee they are on top of it! The food taste fresh and it reasonably priced, the only downside is that the grits are instant. We have breakfast there at least 2x a month since the service is great and the food is good. read more

We woke up in the mood for a casual, filling, diner-style late breakfast close to home and this was perfect. I ordered a "chicken fajita omelet" which immediately became my new favorite food. Huge! And truly stuffed with chicken breast meat and grilled veggies and cheese. So good. The sides I chose were a biscuit with gravy (tasty but I donated to my husband) and grits. The grits were probably instant, but with a little butter and a thick crust of salt and pepper they were good. To be fair I compare all grits to what you eat in the French Quarter, haha. Not a fair contest. I'm also a serious coffee perfectionist, so their below average coffee will not be counted against the overall really nice diner experience. My cup stayed full, though, and the service was friendly and quick. We didn't order any sweets at breakfast but saw a fresh, double-crust blueberry pie coming out the kitchen, and already on display was an assortment of gorgeous cakes and cinnamon rolls, all made in house. So tempting. Prices are good and the restaurant is so cute and clean. We will be back! read more

The food was good but we never got checked on I never got an extra gravy I've kind of disappointed in the service

So we really liked our breakfast stop here. When we walked in there was at least one big table of local folk, farmers and ranchers, which is usually a good indication that we entered a good diner. We ordered simple: hash browns, biscuits and gravy, rye toast, grits, and eggs. And coffee. Good, quick and friendly service. I can't speak to the rest of the menu yet -we'll have to come back for that, but breakfast was real good. read more

Dixie Diner offers a quality meal at great prices. Known for breakfast all day, the portions are generous. I had the 4 oz. ham with one egg, hashbrowns and toast. They offer an 8oz. variety, with two eggs and of course, biscuits and gravy. The service is great! read more

Great special biscuits and sausage gravy two eggs over medium with home fries! Friendly!

I asked for a chicken fried steak with NO gravy. When I receive one with gravy i'm going to ask for a new one and except them to replace it with a new one. Instead they through it on the grill until most of the gravy has burnt away! I wont be going back for lunch or dinner. I might attempt breakfast but they'll probably find a way to put gravy on that stuff also. I do not recommend!!! read more
