Ya know, some bad reviews, some great reviews, I use my own opinion. I will give 5 stars because they have always treated me right, gotten what they promised on time and were courteous and actually call me back (unlike many businesses). I had one issue one time and they took care of me as promised. I think people who rate them low think everything and everybody is free.... I gave them several more chances to mess up, and they NEVER did)). Just be honest and be reasonable yourself to work with them and I believe you will have a great experience. Never go there it's junk I bought a transmission the rear seal leak the pan was full of crud and didn't work I feel like they were going to run it over the scale and instead sold it to me for 400 and then will not honor a warranty guarantee nothing I'm stuck the worst place to ever buy parts . Wow!! These guys were amazingly helpful...more so than any place I called in town. I had a surprising amount of fun digging through attempting to find the parts I needed. Although I was sadly unsuccessful, I would come back here in a heartbeat. I would recommend to everyone. Customer service was patient and kind despite me hardly knowing a damn thing about cars. They were so nice in the beginning. I was told it had a 90 day warranty. They told me my engine would be a plug and play engine. My mechanic had to do all kinds of things to that engine. It had a cracked oil pan and it came with no manifold. This engine was an expensive engine but I thought it would be worth it since my mechanic wouldn't have to do much, just swap it out. When I called them to tell them my mechanic had to spend an extra 5 hours plus parts to make this engine right. They did absolutely nothing. I never heard back from them after they told me they'd call me back to let me know. Never heard a word and now after 3 years I'm posting this. The engine seems to be fine still but the service and delivery was terrible. read more

They are cool. Went to Utah Auto Wrecking of St. George and they took a week just to tell me they didn't have what I needed. I went here and they told me right there what they had. They didn't have it either but they helped me find it on another car they did have. Before coming here I thought I was gonna have to drive to Vegas just to get my car running again. They totally ripped me off making still pay150 for a door even though it did not have anything on it plus and extra 35 bucks for a review mirror. I had to carry my 3 year old and 2 year old through the dangerous junk yard to fetch the mirror southwest auto is across the street and was so much more helpful. read more

They had the parts I needed, a fender and a grill. I had to pay for it in the spot but they wouldn't let me get the part the same day. They told me they WILL call me the next day around 5 when the part was ready. That the hell is this. Other salvage places I've been to lets the customer get the part on the same day. I told them I needed the fender and grill ASAP. They still wouldn't let me get the part until the day after. They told me they will call me when the part was ready. So I waited for the next day. They did not call me the next day. So I went in the following morning and complained got my fender and bumper. They said it's not their fault. They're the ones that said they would call me. It is totally their fault. This place has bad service. read more

Needed a transmission. They charged me for a low mileage one, but gave me the high mileage one. Total bait and switch. A friend in the new parts business told me not to use Dixie Auto Salvage because of the questionable ethics. We were not able to find a transmission close to the price quoted at Dixie, so I reluctantly contacted them. They quoted me a price for a transmission with a lot of miles on it. I didn't want one with that many miles, so they quoted me about $120 more for one with 50,000 fewer miles that was up north. My mechanic picked up the part at Dixie and installed it, then when I talked to him, he said it was in terrible shape and had high miles. It was the transmission that was in stock at Dixie. When returning the core I told the woman that she had charged me for the low mileage transmission, but gave me the high mileage one. She of course denied it. I would never do business with them again. read more
