Got my coolant pipes fixed my here about a year ago and they gave me an oil change when i had gotten an oil change less then a month prior. Flash forward to now my car is still overheating and won't even turn on sometimes so i dropped it off asking them do give me an estimate since there's multiple codes popping up when i ran the codes but they told me there's nothing wrong with it.... However the representative I spoke with on the phone is either dishonest or unknowledgeable on the repair quote... Harry, Sonny, Manny and Evan are the best. I brought my 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser in for some help on an issue caused by another shop. Found these guys thanks to a fellow Land Cruiser owner who told me they were the best Toyota pros around. Glad I took his advice. There is a list of things i need done on this truck, but they found out my AC wasn't working and realized it just needed freon. They filled it in 15 minutes and I have arctic cold AC now!!! I scheduled an appointment to get a few things repaired, but they refused to let me pay for the freon fill. Never going anywhere again with my Toyotas. It's so hard to find honest mechanics but these guys definitely fit the bill! We take out SUV and minivan to these guys all the time and they never disappoint! Grateful we found them. I would highly recommend anyone to this shop. I was sitting in their lobby when a gentleman came back to pick up his vehicle and unfortunately the vehicle wasn't showing any of the issues it was having while the owner had it. They ran tests on his vehicle and the customer asked well how much do I owe you and the mechanic said nothing but to bring it back in once the issues come back. Very honest repair shop. I felt I needed brakes and I was right. What's even better is they were honest enough to last only my front pads were bad and even though I probably should replace the rotors, he let me know it was also ok not to do it right then since it's such an old truck. CliffsNotes: This is a positive review for a complete A/C system overhaul on my 2003 Honda CRV last year (7/2017). Fricken Long Review: I was on a long road trip from Cali on a VERY hot day when something in my engine bay "exploded" (my hood nearly blew open). I could tell it was my A/C, so I searched yelp for a shop and found Pro Auto Care with very good reviews. When I showed up, the 2 mechanics I met told me my year CRV suffered from something called the "Black Death" where the A/C compressor blows up sending metal shards all throughout the system. He said I'd have to replace the entire system to fix it right. Even though they were very friendly and sounded honest, I admit, I thought they were BSing me (you know, the classic "mechanic takes advantage of a car illiterate customer" story). Well, a quick google search showed they weren't BSing. I also remembered this was the 3rd time the A/C went out and only the compressor was replaced the first 2 times (these occurred w/ the previous owner who is a family member). Made the decision to go ahead with the repair. Thought I was going to have to spend a night in a hotel, but the mechanic said he could get it done in a few hours, which was a relief. I hung out at a nearby Starbucks until it was done. While waiting, I did get a call once saying another part was broken and that it'd cost an extra $300 to fix it. I was annoyed tbh, but agreed to the repair. All said and done, the repair was just over $1,800. I wasn't sure if this was a good price until I called the family member who previously owned the car and did the first 2 A/C repairs. He told me he paid $1,500 for JUST THE COMPRESSOR each time back in Cali. So...$1,800 for the ENTIRE system seemed like a bargain. Oh yeah, I think they also gave me a discount for being a veteran. All in all, these were GREAT guys who were HONEST and did an AWESOME job VERY quickly (like 3-4 hrs if I remember correctly). A year later, my car has 190,000 miles on it and I'm living in Iowa blasting my A/C in the humid heat and it still works great. Side note: The guys who worked on my car said they were Honda mechanics for over a decade or so (hope I'm remembering that right). They also said that the work they did was covered under a 1 year warranty and that since I wasn't from Utah, I could just call them if anything went wrong and that they'd reimburse me for work done by a shop local to me. Amazing spot! Our front passenger window got stuck open on our trip home to California from Zion National Park. A phone call to Alec was quick, to the point & ended with an enthusiastic "we'll see you right away & get you back on the road ASAP!" They saw us as soon as we got there, and after a quick lunch nearby they fixed the window! No one in town had the part to completely fix the window. But Alec & Sonny we're able to close our window & didn't charge us. Fast, kind & professional. Great place!! read more

Our air conditioner died on a Thursday afternoon, just south of Salt Lake as we headed into 110 degree weather for a weekend baseball tournament in St. George. Infinity told me we would have to go to Vegas to get it looked at and they couldn't promise they would be able to fix it. Sonny gave us a 2:00pm appointment for oil change and assessment of our AC on Friday. He was able to replace the compressor and gaskets that afternoon. He had some trouble with the gaskets around 5:10pm and had to send for parts. He stayed until 6:30pm to finish the job and charged us his original quote despite an extra hour of labor. It works great and he saved our weekend! read more

I think this is probably The BEST Customer Service I've ever received in my life! My experience started with Alec recommending that I didn't need anywhere close to the $800 of work that American Tire Depot said I did to fix my front brakes/rotors. All in with them including labor I was well under half of that. On top of that, I was in town only for a long weekend. They stayed late on a Friday to accommodate me coming. After fixing the breaks we saw that my break light switch needed to be replaced. Evan offered to come in on a Saturday when they're closed to fix it. But Sonny ended up driving across town to the Dealership to pick up the part and replaced it in the rain and crazy wind in the dealership parking lot! They wouldn't even let me pay for the $10 part they paid the dealer for or pay for Sonny to replace it! Overall they had INCREDIBLE customer service and integrity. We've been worried about our 2000 Toyota Camry for several months. The local shop we patronize in Las Vegas had replaced the battery and told us we needed a new alternator. We needed to head east to help my cousin with some issues. Got as far as St. George and decided too worried to continue, so Yelped for a good shop. Thank heavens we chose Pro Auto Care. Tom and his staff went above and beyond the call of duty. 1. Found the battery we had purchased in Vegas was defective,replaced free from Interstate. 2. Found the alternator was working just fine. Hitting at about 14. 3. Discovered a leak in the radiator which could have left us stranded in who-knows-where. 4. Replaced radiator at a very reasonable price. Checked everything else. Clean bill of health. Might be my imagination but I thought I saw a smile on Camry's grill. I know I saw one on my wife. Fantastic service. read more

We were on vacation and started having issues with our vehicle after dropping some wave runners into the lake at Sand Hollow. Sonny got us in that day and worked like crazy to get the vehicle running smoothly again. His communication throughout the whole process was very detailed, and he called to give us updates at the actual times he said he would call. The price was incredibly fair, especially given that we were in a pinch and needed to get back on the road as our vacation was drawing to a close. I also noticed something telling about the shop. I didn't see posters or calendars with scantily clad women throughout the garage or office. However, there are posters of cars and car manufacturer flags. They had to order a water pump so I left the car, rented another to continue vacation to Yellowstone. Pro Auto called and kept me informed of repair process, they were extremely kind and honest, even telling me about a part that had worn down on my engine that may cause the repair to not go well in 3,000 miles. Turns out the new water pump was manufactured differently and they could bolt it in, yay! I am pleased to say that months and miles later my Freestyle is still running strong! I'm from out of town. I had them fix my radiator in my family van. After the job was done I noticed some drips still dropping. I returned to the shop. I expected to have to put up a fight. Instead, I was greeted like family. They looked at it again and explained that it was likely water from having been rinsed off. They thoroughly checked it and gave me a personal cell number and said if I have any troubles with it in the next few days, call them and they will drive to me and fix it.
