I want to give a huge shoutout to Ryan from R&J Mobile Mechanics. I was in Zion for a few days…read morewhen, unfortunately, my battery light came on. The next morning I drove about 30 minutes down the mountain to AutoZone to have the battery tested. It turned out the battery wasn't holding a charge, and I was told the next thing to check would most likely be the alternator. I called multiple mechanics and mobile mechanics in the area until my brother found Ryan. At first, there wasn't much he could do because we had to emergency order an alternator from Vegas. I was able to get a warranty replacement battery from AutoZone and continue my plans for the day. The following evening around 5:30 PM, Ryan came out and was able to take care of the repair. He even helped order the correct alternator through AutoZone for me. He showed up on time, checked every possible option, and took the time to properly troubleshoot the issue instead of just guessing. After testing everything, we determined the alternator was the most likely problem. The installation only took him about 40 minutes. Afterward, we tested everything multiple times using different meters and code readers, took the vehicle for a test drive, and made sure everything was working correctly. I was nervous at first because there was still a strange noise after the repair, but Ryan took the time to troubleshoot it further until everything checked out. The battery light was gone, all tests passed, and I was able to safely drive over 350 miles back to California without any issues. I really appreciate Ryan's professionalism, honesty, and willingness to help while I was stranded away from home. If you're ever in the Zion area and need a reliable mechanic, I highly recommend R&J Mobile Mechanics.

In 2015, I was on the I -15 on my way to Hurricane when a wind shear hit the side of my car and…read morethrew the driver side windshield wiper to a hanging position on the left side of the car. The wind had strong torrents of rain, and it was blowing me into the left lane of traffic in a 2003 Impala. I was shaken and turned off at the first off ramp and headed north on Telegraph Rd. I saw a sign saying "Good Ole Boys" Repair and stopped there to seek assistance. A man was standing in the bay opening, I got out and said I believe the wind ruined my left windshield wiper, he seemed confident, lifted the wiper up and put it into place as if nothing had happened to it. I was thrilled as I needed it to see in this pouring rain storm. His name was Lance and I asked him what I owed him to fix this situation. He said, it's ok, I'm sure you'll be ok now. He was so kind. So every time I have a problem with my 2003 Impala and my 1995 Astro Van, I take it to Lance for repairs. He has kept me on the road in both vehicles for several years now. He changed the name of the Business when he bought them out to "Washington Service and Repair" A great place for excellent friendly service!! Lance and the boys have my total confidence and recommendation. S. Hall
