Just a sad light green runny sauce and the lamb was tough. Not spiced although we asked for medium. Rice was short grains and broken not lovely long basmati grains. Overall, we are sad that we will be traveling further (Hillsborough or Bridgewater) for decent Indian food if not cooked at home!

I got Alwar Pak Milk Cakes which were a bit too solid of a texture and a bit of a different taste. I think it may have just been too cold in the storage and fridge it was in which altered the texture and taste. The staff were very kind, friendly and happy to talk and help. Overall, a great new addition to the area that offers a ton of flavors that have been missing.

One downside to it was that the checkout lines were very hectic and it took us about 30-40 mins to check out, but since it was their first day and a Sunday, I hope this won't be the norm! Will come again for sure. Can't wait until their hot food opens next week!

We noticed this one on our way back from our R-day trip to West Point. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, ordered 2 dishes and naan. Everything turned out great. This was the best choice; the food was served sizzling hot, and the naan was just out of the oven. This picture is from our second visit. We tried the same 2 dishes and lamb chops. All tasted great. This will be a frequent stop on our future trips up and down this road to West Point Military Academy. The ambiance is great; the background music sounded a tad bit loud.

The desserts were just plain chocolate candies such as Ferrero Rocher and hard candy (the gesture was nice). They brought out our mango lassi. The mango lassi was a bit bitter. I think they used a lot of Greek yogurt to make it and not much sugar. We told the waiter it wasn't made well and he brought out a new one but it was still not the typical sweetness that was expected. The waiter didn't seem to understand English that well unfortunately. We ordered a chicken hot and sour soup and chicken curry. Both came out pretty fast. The chicken curry was ok. It was nothing to shout home about. My chicken hot and sour soup was pretty good. The dish came with bread that looked like it came from the Indian grocery store next door. The bathroom is located adjacent to the restaurant (at the grocery store). It was very clean and had perfume if needed.

It is a nicely decorated restaurant in the downtown area about a 5 minute walk from the theater. We started with the vegetable Samosa. It was nicely fried and had a great taste. It was served with tamarind sauce and a mint chutney. We also ordered the garlic pepper crab masala dry. An excellent appetizer with soft shell crab. It was slightly spicy . We really enjoyed the dish. We shared the chicken tikka masala for a main dish. The masala sauce was great as was the chicken. This dish is one of our go tours when trying a new Indian restaurant.
