Goat Kalimirch
Eva C.

3.5. Namaste is located in a shopping plaza right off of busy Street road in Warminster. The atmosphere was laid back and the service was good. We enjoyed the complimentary crisp cracker with dips served before our meal. Lamb and goat dishes were pretty good. A few pieces of the goat could have been more tender. The lamb curry was very good, not sure I'd get the goat Kalimirch again. The flavor was not as deep and comforting as the curry. The basmati rice was fragrant with spices and cooked well and the garlic naan was so good we got a second order. Would like to try some more of their menu offerings soon.

Found this spot while going to a bakery next door and decided to give it a try. The food was so delicious, it was very flavorful. I did get some appetizers and they were OK. I loved the chicken biriyani, it's one of my favorites.

Best Indian food I've ever tasted (as an American with American tastes). Service is wonderful and the energy of the staff is lovely. Everything was delicious!

Ordered a chicken vindaloo curry and it was just a lot of spice but no actual taste. Nothing close to an actual Indian curry.

*Indoor Dining Review*…read more We've been coming to this restaurant since it was opened, so we decided to have our little get together to see how this place is doing, the food and service are still great. They had Buffet prior to pandemic, it was great option for anyone that wants to try everything but does not know what to order. Now they are a la carte only. Restaurant: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Parking: Free parking lot front and back ~Restaurant~ Restaurant has been through some renovation since we last visited, it has much more seating and looks more modern. Everything looks clean and organized. ~Service~ Even though they had some staff changes, the level of service is still the same. Very thorough and friendly service. ~Food~ I can't not say enough about how good the food is in this restaurant. Everything we ordered is fresh, and tasted great. We ordered some garlic naans, chicken biryani, samosa, butter chicken, goat curry and (A must have of mine) Tandoori chicken. We will definitely keep going back whenever we have an opportunity. It is not often all of us agree on a restaurant to meet up, this is one of them.

Masala Zone - Horsham, PA Rating: 2.75 out of 5…read more After seeing all the positive reviews, my family and I came to Masala Zone with pretty high expectations -- and we arrived hungry, which usually makes any meal taste better. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. We ordered the chicken corn soup, shrimp and chicken fried rice, chicken Seekh kebabs, and the chilli garlic chicken. Across the board, the food just wasn't well balanced. Everything leaned heavily on being way too salty, way too peppery, and way too greasy, which took away from what could've been a flavorful meal. The dishes didn't have the harmony you'd expect, especially given the hype. While the service and atmosphere were fine, the food itself missed the mark. For us, it's a one-time visit, and we don't see ourselves returning. There are simply better options in the area that deliver on both taste and quality.

I've been back and forth between NYC and Philadelphia now for several years. It's enabled me to…read moresample foods from both cities....while New York will always be my 'restaurant Mecca', Philly's been a nice touch. I hadn't yet found a truly good Indian restaurant in Philly, until last night. Amma's came close, but fell short due to a goat dish I had with no goat! We happened upon Lilly's by looking for 'good restaurants in the Jenkintown area' on Yelp. Ironically, we'd walked by it dozens of times without noticing it, as there are other stores and restaurants in the area. It had several good reviews and since my partner had NEVER had Indian food before (I know it's hard to believe), I felt this was a must try! We walked in and immediately noticed how nice the interior looked - beautiful murals on the walls, a quiet, a relaxed atmosphere and everything looked clean and new. I knew exactly what we were going to order - the same two dishes I've been having for decades in New York, DC and other Indian restaurants I'd been to....Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Rogan Josh. Of course, we added an order of Naan. I initially judge these dishes based on the quality of the meat - in this case - chicken and lamb. I started with the Tikka Masala - as soon as I tasted a bite of the chicken, I knew we'd come to the right place! It was a delicious piece of lean, tender, white meat that had the most luscious, creamy, tomato based sauce - not too spicy ( we requested a very low 'heat'/spice level. My partner had never tasted a curry sauce before and was very impressed - she loved the dish! Next up, the Lamb Rogan Josh! I was pleasantly surprised to see large, lean, tender chunks of lamb in the pot that was served. The sauce was a little spicier than the Tikka Masala, but had an excellent flavor! It complimented the chicken dish perfectly. Both the lamb and the chicken were high quality meats that enabled these dishes to shine! Not to forget the delicious Naan - I took several scoops of both chicken and lamb and put them between a folded piece of Naan! Lilly's is a gem in Jenkintown - I'm glad we found this great Indian restaurant!

Reiterating my experience from a few years ago, this has consistently been a favorite lunch spot…read morefor my coworkers. The service is great and is good for a casual dine-in setting. We usually come here once a quarter and for good reason. The food here is flavorful and it's pretty reasonably priced. They specialize in a variety of South Indian cuisine, but my favorite has always been the Kurinji special mutton perattal biryani. It's a pretty big dish with rice and plenty of meat. It also has several sides of sauces and spices to mix in. It's a definite must-have if you like lamb. The other favorite of mine is the Vijayawada chicken biryani. It's a huge serving of chicken, rice, onions, and other great ingredients that are sure to get your taste buds satisfied. My coworkers often order the chicken tikka masala or the butter chicken, both of which are better than most Indian places I've been to. An unexpected surprise were the vegetarian samosas, which are large Indian dumplings that are mostly appetizers, but are quite addicting once you've tried it. Kurinji is good for any occasion, but be advised that they are closed on Mondays. Among all the places my coworkers like to visit for lunch, this restaurant remains as our favorite spot. One of these days I'll go down the entire menu to explore everything else they have, as there are just so many options to choose from. We'll definitely be coming here whenever we get a chance and highly encourage any newcomers to check this place out. You definitely won't be disappointed. If you have a large party, it's advised that you call ahead, as I don't think they've been able to seat more than 8 people at a time on a single row of tables.Re

This…read moreis a major issue in the country, where little attention is given to those who follow religious traditions requiring only Halal food. It's unfair to deceive people for profit in such a dishonest way, especially when Muslims take these rules seriously. As a result, businesses lose customers since many choose to buy from Halal stores and cook at home. When I called, they falsely claimed the food was Halal, so I decided not to eat there. On top of that, prices for almost everything have skyrocketed, making them unaffordable for most people. Inflation in America is extremely high, while funds continue to flow to Ukraine for war efforts. What cost of all food items in all Indian restaurants is horrible to bear. Added to that tips it comes to almost 100 dollars for a family to eat at such costly places. Another fraud restaurant is Namaste in Warminster, very high prices and lie that everything is Halal, a very big liar who keeps saying false name like Bharat. A very fraud owner, except for his wife who almost run this business. So, I totally stopped to going to any restaurant.

For the 7 that decided to go family-style, we shared: - Nepali Himalayan noodles with egg and vegetables (so good that we got a second round!); - Nepali Himalayan chicken fried rice (another table favorite!); and - 5 momo orders (goat, chicken x3, and shrimp) all of which were tasty, though personally I liked the savory ones more than the sweeter (e.g., the chicken tika momo) and the chicken and shrimp more than the goat, which had great flavor but was tougher than the others). We had one diner in our group who didn't love spicy food, so we stayed at a level 2 for most dishes. We did get the goat at a level-4 and it wasn't that spicy. Would definitely level up next time, depending who came along! A few diners got Mango Lassis, which were thick and delicious. Service was good and it seemed like the restaurant was also churning out take-out orders. Can't wait to go back!
