I had a tough to turn lock on one of my doors that kinda stopped working as my handyman took it…read moreapart. He claimed, "it's broken." But i knew it was working till we took it apart, so i was going down the road of how you replace the lock and everything. All new hardware. Even contacted who we purchased our doors from. 4-6 weeks to get them. Then i thought maybe a locksmith could fix it- instead of this trying to order a new lock etc. i called what seemed to be a local locksmith but they were not? I think there is some kind of auto generated thing out there -that just says your city- but they are not local. I had booked them. And then after losing a day of waiting for them-to not come or call! Forget about it! I had noticed everyone on Yelp mentioning the real Sausalito locksmith! So that was my next move after that bad experience. Thomas came over and inspected the situation and had a resolution to something within the lock that was weak he didn't like- but it's true, a small flimsy metal part. He went to see if he had something like it but stronger in his truck. Yes- problem solved! But then where the door wasn't lining up exactly- he trouble shot that as well. I like a person who can problem solve on the spot. So grateful for this nice friendly guy who knows his stuff- and got the job done step by step. (The issues were not obvious) Can't recommend him enough- if you are in Southern Marin- you should ask for Thomas. Time is money and he put my mind at ease once he came to fix my door I have had good and bad locksmiths- none are ever in the middle. These guys are the good guys for your money and time.
